背景技术

具体实施方式
本发明包括增强现实条形码扫描视觉系统以及用增强现实条形码扫描视觉系统解码和显示条形码的方法。
现在将在下文中参照附图更充分地描述本发明,在附图中示出发明的示范性实施例。然而,该发明可以许多不同的形式体现,并且不应当被解释为限于本文所阐述的实施例。在附图中,相同的附图标记在全文中指代相同的元件。
现在参考图1,在本发明的示范性实施例中,图示增强现实条形码扫描视觉系统10。结合人类视觉系统50使用增强现实条形码扫描视觉系统,用于本描述的目的的人类视觉系统50的主要组件是虹膜51和瞳孔52。
增强现实条形码扫描视觉系统10包括三个主要组件:隐形眼镜系统11、护目镜20和条形码解码器14。隐形眼镜11可以是处方隐形眼镜,并且相应地一对隐形眼镜11可以是处方隐形眼镜。隐形眼镜11提供有对应于人类视觉系统50的瞳孔52的中心部分的通光孔径12。隐形眼镜11还提供有对应于人类视觉系统50的瞳孔52的外部部分以及虹膜51部分的反射表面13。反射表面13偏转表面附近图像,并且传递环境光的至少一部分。
隐形眼镜11可能类似于在编号8482858的美国专利中所描述的隐形眼镜,或者类似于可从美国华盛顿Bellevue的Innovega获得的作为iOptik™销售的增强现实视觉隐形眼镜。例如除了反射和传递环境和表面附近光的不同部分外,iOPtik™透镜还用嵌入到标准隐形眼镜中的光学器件和过滤器来进一步使能。隐形眼镜允许人类视觉系统聚焦于被放置在接近人类视觉系统内(表面图像附近)的微型显示器的能力,由于它们的接近,微型显示器通常不可由人类视觉系统聚焦。隐形眼镜中的光学器件放大在微型显示器上发现的微小图像,并将其转换成大图像。因为在隐形眼镜内发现聚焦的光学器件,分辨率和图像大小不受影响,而不管微型显示器多么小或薄。在一些实例中,隐形眼镜11可提供有其它部件(未示出),诸如嵌入式电路、LED、微小的天线,并且专用电路将一起工作以为人类视觉系统50显示信息。

在本领域中已知的智能眼镜和主动式视觉眼镜之后构图护目镜20。示范性护目镜在编号8228315的美国专利中被描述(本文中通过引用将该美国专利并入),除了其它部件外,该示范性护目镜还提供有显示器、投影仪、相机、车载计算系统。如先前所讨论的iOptik™隐形眼镜的供应商Innovega也是被配置成与iOptik™隐形眼镜一起使用的护目镜的供应商。该护目镜提供有成像器、微型投影仪、耳塞和可视表面。Innovega护目镜特别适合于本增强现实条形码扫描视觉系统。Innovega护目镜或类似的护目镜可以被修改,用于无线使能(如果尚未提供)并用于收集反射离开隐形眼镜的反射部分的图像。
增强现实视觉条形码扫描系统10可以可选地包括麦克风(未示出)和语音识别软件(未示出)。麦克风可能被并入到护目镜20中,语音识别软件可能也是。增强现实视觉条形码扫描系统10可由用户的语音命令初始化到麦克风中。语音识别软件被编程为识别的命令,诸如“瞄准”和“扫描”。麦克风和语音识别软件通信地耦合到条形码扫描系统的其它组件。

远程条形码解码器14被无线使能15以发送和接收有关待解码的条形码的信息以及产生的解码的信息。条形码解码器14还可发送和接收其它信息。条形码解码器14可能是专用的条形码设备,或者可以是具有在其上安装的条形码解码软件的另一个设备。例如,条形码解码器14可以是智能手机、平板电脑或具有解码软件的另一个计算设备。
增强现实视觉条形码扫描系统10的隐形眼镜11、护目镜20和条形码解码器14被配置成一起工作。瞄准功能28被配置成照亮条形码图像54,并向成像器21传送:照亮的条形码图像54是待扫描的图像。隐形眼镜11被配置成经由反射表面13将由人类视觉系统50观看的条形码图像54反射到成像器21。护目镜20被配置成经由护目镜20无线通信26将由成像器21接收的条形码图像54传送到条形码解码器15。条形码解码器15被配置成解码从护目镜20接收的条形码,并向护目镜20发送解码的条形码信息。护目镜20被配置成经由微型投影仪24而在可视表面23上显示解码的条形码信息。隐形眼镜11被配置成允许可视表面23上的解码的条形码信息通过通光孔径12传递到人类视觉系统50并且由反射表面13偏转,从而解码的条形码信息和环境光可由人类视觉系统50同时观看。

在又一个示范性实施例中,护目镜20提供有反射表面22,该反射表面22被配置成从隐形眼镜11的反射表面13接收条形码图像54并向成像器21反射条形码图像54。

除了所描述的示范性实施例外,增强现实视觉条形码扫描系统10可以从由人类使用系统10的良好扫描信号器(annunciator)和用于输入数据的键盘中受益。通过这种方式,系统10增强POS操作员工作描述、技术能力,并且在零售、库存和源控制经验中打开新的可能性。另外,系统10可以由消费者用于通过在他们的指尖处具有条形码信息而比较地购物。最后,工厂库存控制可以由系统10简化和流水化。
现在结合图1来参考图2,更详细地示出图1的增强现实视觉条形码扫描系统10的部分。特别地,图2图示在使用增强现实视觉条形码扫描系统10时人类视觉系统50所可能看到的。示出护目镜20的可视表面23。通过可视表面观看含有条形码的产品的环境图像57。条形码54被识别为待扫描的条形码。在如结合图1所描述的扫描和解码条形码54之后,在可视表面23的第一部分23A上显示解码的信息,使得环境图像57以及可视表面23的第一部分23A上的解码的信息二者可以同时由人类视觉系统观看。

Claims (15)
1.一种用于结合人类视觉系统使用的增强现实视觉条形码扫描系统,包括:
(i)在隐形眼镜的一部分上方涂有反射表面的至少一个隐形眼镜,隐形眼镜的一部分对应于人类视觉系统的眼睛的瞳孔的外部边缘以及人类视觉系统的眼睛的虹膜部分,隐形眼镜具有用于人类视觉系统的瞳孔的中心部分的通光孔径,反射表面被配置成传递环境光的一部分并偏转表面附近的图像;
(ii)具有包括对人类视觉系统可视的至少一个半透明的半反射表面的可视表面的护目镜,护目镜具有用于从隐形眼镜接收反射图像的成像器,护目镜被使能以用于无线通信,护目镜具有用于将图像投影到可视表面上的微型投影仪,护目镜提供有瞄准功能,护目镜具有被配置成通信地耦合成像器、无线通信、微型投影仪和瞄准功能的装置;
(iii)远程条形码解码器,条形码解码器被无线使能以发送和接收有关待解码的条形码的信息以及解码的信息;
瞄准功能被配置成识别待扫描的条形码图像;
隐形眼镜被配置成经由反射表面向成像器反射由人类视觉系统观看的条形码图像;
护目镜被配置成经由无线通信向条形码解码器传送由成像器接收的条形码图像;
条形码解码器被配置成解码从护目镜接收的条形码并向护目镜发送解码的条形码信息;
护目镜被配置成经由微型投影仪而在可视表面上显示解码的条形码信息;以及
隐形眼镜被配置成允许在可视表面上的解码的条形码信息通过通光孔径传递到人类视觉系统并且由反射表面偏转,使得解码的条形码信息和环境光由人类视觉系统同时可视。
2.根据权利要求1所述的增强现实视觉条形码扫描系统,其中隐形眼镜是处方隐形眼镜。
3.根据权利要求1所述的增强现实视觉条形码扫描系统,其中隐形眼镜是一对隐形眼镜。
4.根据权利要求1所述的增强现实视觉条形码扫描系统,其中护目镜提供有反射表面,该反射表面被配置成从隐形眼镜的反射表面接收条形码图像并向成像器反射条形码图像。
5.根据权利要求1所述的增强现实视觉条形码扫描系统,其中护目镜提供有无线使能的耳塞,无线使能的耳塞被配置成从条形码解码器接收解码的条形码信息。
6.根据权利要求1所述的增强现实视觉条形码扫描系统,其中可视表面是对应于人类视觉系统的两只眼睛的两部分表面。
7.根据权利要求1所述的增强现实视觉条形码扫描系统,其中可视表面具有第一部分和第二部分,微型投影仪被配置成在可视表面的第一部分上显示解码的条形码信息,并且可视表面的第二部分被配置成将环境光传递到人类视觉系统,因此人类视觉系统观看叠加在环境光上的解码的条形码信息。
8.根据权利要求1所述的增强现实视觉条形码扫描系统,包括至少一个无线使能的销售点模块和至少一个无线使能的库存控制模块。
9.根据权利要求8所述的增强现实视觉条形码扫描系统,其中条形码解码器被配置成向销售点模块并向库存控制模块发送解码的条形码信息。
10.根据权利要求1所述的增强现实视觉条形码扫描系统,其中瞄准功能包括安装在护目镜上的LED,并且瞄准功能被配置成向成像器传送:正由LED照亮的条形码图像是待扫描的条形码图像。
11.根据权利要求1所述的增强现实视觉条形码扫描系统,其中扫描系统被配置成由系统的穿戴者的动作初始化。
12.根据权利要求11所述的增强现实视觉条形码扫描系统,其中:
护目镜提供有麦克风和语音识别软件;
麦克风通信地耦合到成像器、无线通信、微型投影仪和瞄准功能;以及
初始化扫描系统的动作是增强现实视觉条形码扫描系统的穿戴者的语音命令。
13.根据权利要求11所述的增强现实视觉条形码扫描系统,其中护目镜提供有用户激活的开关以初始化扫描系统。
14.一种以用于结合人类视觉系统使用的增强现实视觉条形码扫描系统扫描和显示条形码信息的方法,包括:
i. 提供增强现实视觉条形码系统,该增强现实视觉条形码系统具有:
在隐形眼镜的一部分上方涂有反射表面的至少一个隐形眼镜,隐形眼镜的一部分对应于人类视觉系统的眼睛的瞳孔的外部边缘以及人类视觉系统的眼睛的虹膜部分,隐形眼镜具有用于人类视觉系统的瞳孔的中心部分的通光孔径,反射表面被配置成传递环境光的一部分并偏转表面附近的图像;
具有包括对人类视觉系统可视的至少一个半透明的半反射表面的可视表面的护目镜,护目镜具有用于从隐形眼镜接收反射图像的成像器,护目镜被使能以用于无线通信,护目镜具有用于将图像投影到可视表面上的微型投影仪,护目镜提供有瞄准功能,护目镜具有被配置成通信地耦合成像器、无线通信、微型投影仪和瞄准功能的装置;
远程条形码解码器,条形码解码器被无线使能,用于发送和接收有关待解码的条形码的信息以及解码的信息;
ii. 由人类视觉系统观看条形码;
iii. 初始化扫描系统;
iv. 经由瞄准功能识别待扫描的条形码;
v. 由隐形眼镜的反射表面向护目镜上的成像器反射条形码图像;
vi. 经由护目镜无线通信向条形码解码器传送条形码图像;
vii. 在条形码解码器处解码条形码;
viii. 向护目镜发送解码的条形码信息;
ix. 经由微型投影仪而在可视表面上显示解码的条形码信息;
x. 通过通光孔径向人类视觉系统反射显示的解码的条形码信息;
xi. 偏转显示的解码的条形码信息以防在隐形眼镜的反射表面处进入人类视觉系统;以及
xii. 通过隐形眼镜的反射表面将环境光传递到人类视觉系统。
15.根据权利要求14所述的方法,其中护目镜提供有无线使能的耳塞,并且包括从条形码解码器接收音频解码的条形码信息的进一步的步骤。
