Abstract
The invention relates to a machine-roomless elevator which comprises a counterweight, a counterweight rope sheave, a traction machine, a car, car diversion sheaves, a car rope hitch plate assembly, a traction machine carrying beam, car guide rails, counterweight guide rails and a steel wire rope. The traction wheel axis of the traction machine and the plane where a car door of the car is located are parallel or form an included angle of 0-180 degrees. The traction machine is located on one side of the center line AB of the car guide rails. The projection of the traction machine in the vertical direction and the projection of the car in the vertical direction do not coincide. The traction machine is mounted on the traction machine carrying beam. The traction machine carrying beam is fixed to a shaft wall. According to the machine-roomless elevator, the occupied top-layer space of a shaft is reduced, the height of the elevator shaft is effectively reduced, and meanwhile elevator cost and construction cost are reduced.

Background
In the prior art, a traction machine of a machine room-less elevator is generally mounted on a bearing beam above a hoistway, and a traction machine frame and the traction machine are located above a car. The existing elevator without the machine room occupies more top space of a shaft, is not beneficial to installation in low-rise villa buildings, and needs to construct a bearing beam structure in the shaft in advance to install a traction machine, so that the building cost is higher.

The car diverting pulley 5 may be installed on the top or bottom of the car 4, that is, the car diverting pulley 5 may be in the form of a ceiling wheel or a bottom wheel. The car 4 can be lifted by the wire rope 10 of the present invention regardless of whether the car return sheave has any one of the two structures of the car top sheave and the car bottom sheave. When the traction sheave of the traction machine 3 rotates, the counterweight 1 and the car 4 run in opposite directions, and when the counterweight 1 runs upwards, the car 4 runs downwards; when the counterweight 1 moves downward, the car 4 moves upward.
The traction machine 3 is arranged on one side of the center line AB of the car guide rail 8, the axis of the traction wheel of the traction machine 3 is parallel to the plane of the car door of the car 4 or forms an included angle of 0-180 degrees, and the projection of the traction machine 3 and the car 4 in the vertical direction has no overlapped part, so that the height of a shaft way is effectively reduced under the condition of not occupying the space of the top layer of the shaft way, the cost of an elevator and the cost of a building are reduced at the same time, and the comfort of the elevator is ensured under the same condition.
