背景技术
在轮胎制造中,许多轮胎部件是由多个橡胶件形成。橡胶轮胎部件,诸如轮胎三角胶条、胎侧和胎面,是利用挤出工艺而形成。在轮胎制造中通常使用的一种类型的挤出机是螺杆挤出机。螺杆挤出机通常具有长室,带有定位于通道中心的螺杆,其中螺杆将橡胶磨碎。通道的端部通常具有模具,该模具具有形成于其中的孔。该孔的形状决定了被制造橡胶件的截面形状。挤出机压力以连续的方式推动橡胶经过小的模孔从而形成所要制造的部件。通过将挤出件切割成给定的长度而获得期望的橡胶件。
本发明涉及轮胎部件的共挤出。共挤出是指在单个操作中制造多层橡胶复合体。该多层橡胶复合体是由构造成橡胶层的至少两种单独的橡胶组合物所组成,其中各橡胶层从一侧经过橡胶复合体的厚度而延伸至另一个相反侧。多层橡胶复合体是通过利用用于每个橡胶组合物的单独挤出机将至少两种单独的橡胶组合物共挤出至机头的内部腔而制备。机头是由包括流动通道的内腔所组成,这些流动通道用于引导至少两种单独的橡胶组合物以经过拼接条和模具形成所述多层橡胶复合体,从而在单个制造步骤中形成复合体带。

图1示出了用于在一次操作中形成多层橡胶复合体的挤出机系统100。该挤出机系统包括至少两个挤出机110、120。通常使用螺杆挤出机,尽管可使用环形挤出机。图1示出了背负式挤出机系统,其中存在用于形成多层复合体的四个螺杆挤出机110、120、130和140。这些挤出机不需要相互背负(即,挤出机堆叠到一起,面向相同方向)。这些挤出机可以面对面的构造而布置,这意味着挤出机被布置成使得它们是相互面对的,其中机头位于各挤出机之间。
