Abstract
一种有改进的存取性并且处理方便的贮放亲水性接触透镜的包装。该包装包括限定贮放小池的容器并有沿周边向外伸展的凸缘、附着在容器上以提供不透液体的密封的盖、改进的抓握/稳定容器的装置以及改进的开启包装取存接触透镜的握盖装置。
Description
本发明在广义上涉及接触透镜(隐形眼镜)的包装和贮放容器的技术。更具体地说,是涉及“泡罩”或注射成型的塑料包装,是将亲水性的或软质的接触透镜浸泡在消毒盐水中进行贮放的。
亲水性的或软质接触透镜因其舒适方便已经变得十分流行。亲水性透镜一般含有约20-90%(重量)的水。为了保持此高水含量,在贮存运输和处理过程中一般是将其浸泡在一不透水的包装容器里的消毒水溶液中。目前已有各式各样的包装,用以存放亲水性透镜。
早期的透镜包装容器是带塞的玻璃瓶,通常是以硅橡胶塞和金属箔片外盖封闭,以保安全。玻璃瓶的容积为10毫升,内装一片接触透镜,浸泡在约7毫升的消毒盐水溶液中。取出透镜时可撕破金属箔片,拔出硅橡胶塞,用镊子夹出透镜。
接触透镜的包装的改进包括“泡罩”或注射成型包装,Martinez的U.S.P No,4,691,820所公开的是其一例。Martinez公开的接触透镜的贮放包装包括一泡罩部分,该泡罩有一小腔以容纳一片透镜和盐水溶液。泡罩部分包括围绕小腔周边向外延展的凸缘。有一形成盖子的材料粘附在凸缘上以形成不透水的密封。泡罩的侧壁部分是从泡罩部分的底座面向外倾斜的。从凸缘上剥去盖材料以暴露盛有接触透镜的小腔即可打开包装。虽然Martinez的包装有某些改进之处,但包装和盖子部分在开启包装的过程中者不易拿稳。
因此,对于亲水性接触透镜的贮放包装,需要有改进的装置以拿稳包装。对于亲水性透镜的贮放包装,也需要有改进的装置以抓握并除去其盖子。
本发明的一个目的是提供一接触透镜的贮放容器,该容器有改进的抓握/稳定装置。
本发明的另一目的是提供一接触透镜的贮放容器,该容器有改进的存取装置。
本发明的又一目的是给使用者在开启透镜包装时提供舒适性。
本发明还有一目的是,相对干密封装置来说,改进盛接触透镜的包装的稳定装置的位置,由此减小在开启包装过程中透镜或贮存溶液损失的可能性。
本发明涉及为贮放、运输或其他处理的软质亲水性接触透镜的包装。该包装包括限定存放接触透镜的液体的小池的容器、与容器一起形成不透液体的密封的盖和将盖附着在容器上的装置。该容器还包括在除掉盖时容易并确保能抓稳并稳定容器的装置。稳定装置包括位于容器的相对两边的两个在容器上的凹口。稳定装置最好也包括连接在容器凹口上的两个唇缘,其升起的部分基本上是垂直于容器凸缘的。在一最佳实施方案中,唇缘上加肋条纹以便用手抓握。容器也包括盖的易于触及和抓握的部分(即小拉片)以例将盖从容器上分离下来并曝露小池中贮存的接触透镜,拉片延伸至容器外足够的距离以便使用者容易抓握以用手剥离,拉片最好包括有助于用手抓握的具有凸起的或肋条纹表面的抓握装置。
图1是本发明的接触透镜贮存包装的具体实施方案剖面图。

参见图1,图1是本发明的接触透镜贮存装置10的截面展示,容器12限定了存放接触透镜24和其圆围的液体(即消毒等渗盐溶液)的小池22。容器12最好基本上是半球形状,以与接触透镜的凸面相配合。容器最好在盖18的另一边有一平的底面¨使能将容器放置并保持在平的贮放面(即桌面)上的预定方向上。容器12还包括将盖18周边附着于其上的凸缘16、凸缘16从容器12的周边向外伸展,最好是在周边所限定的平面内足够让盖18附着于其上的一定距离。盖18是一柔软的薄片,所用的材料能够使盖附着于凸缘上时与容器12一起提供一不透液体的密封体。盖18最好基本上与容器12的凸缘16的形状相吻合,但至少有一个部分,即拉片20,是延伸到凸缘外的,拉片20(也见图3)是使使用者在开启贮存装置摄取贮存的接触透镜时容易抓握。
图2进按本发明具体实施方案的容器30的平面图。在容器30上有凹口32(最好设置在凸缘上)以便在使用者去除密封装置时能握住容器,即凸口32提供了在开启容器过程中的稳定容器的装置。图3表示一柔软薄片40的优选形状。薄片40的形状基本上是按容器的形状,只是有一拉片20延伸至容器周边以外。
在打开容器时,使用者一手以姆指和食指握住凹口32(见图2),同时以另一手的姆指和食指握住拉片20(见图3)。然后拉片20可沿图1中箭头指示的方向移动,由此打开容器的凸缘和柔软密封薄片之间的密封(最好是粘合或热封),取出接触透镜。
本文中的“凹口”一词指凹槽、缺口、凹陷、切口或其他能够在周边上提供足以使使用者容易握住接触透镜贮存装置的区别口。凹口可用切、模压、模塑或其他方法使柔软薄片成型,凹口最好是在容器周边上、特别是在容器凸缘上成曲线,基本上与姆指和食指的曲率半率符合,更优先选择具有约5-30毫米的基本上均匀的曲率半径的凹口。
图4说明本发明更为优选的第二具体实施方案,在此具体实施方案中,拉片52上有肋状条或突起的部分54(见图5)以给拉片52提供增加抓握摩擦力的表面。拉片52附着(例如用粘合或热封)在盖(图5中未示出)上,盖又可分离地附着(例如粘合或热封)于容器凸缘上,使拉片52附着于容器体58而又是可以移去的。拉片52最好是特别适合于用姆指和食指抓握的有肋条纹的硬质材料块。硬质和有肋条纹的设计可让使用者牢固地握住小片。因此,与旁边的稳定装置一起,硬质有肋条纹的小片能使盖—容器之间的联结可以平滑的分离,因而防止了滑动和容器盛液的溢出。
上述第二具体实施方案的优点也在于包括突起的唇缘60的稳定装置56的利用,唇缘60基本上在容器凸缘58所限定的平面上垂直延伸(见图6和7)并基本上垂直地在远离凸缘62的一端延伸,正如图7中所示。突起的唇缘60在其面64上最好是有肋条纹的或刻有阴影线的,以提供改进的摩擦性,使之容易抓握。唇缘被做成与前述容器凹口56相符合的弯曲形状(见图5)。
拉片52与稳定装置56的相对位置的布置(见图5)基本上改进了从透镜贮放容器取出接触透镜的难易性。在开启包装的过程中,可用一手之姆指和食指握住稳定装置56,同时用另一手之姆指和食指抓住拉片52,当拉片52向稳定装置56移动时,由于握住稳定装置56,容器可以容易地保持在一个位置上,因而防止了贮存液体的外溢或透镜自容器掉出。在开启容器的过程中最好是将容器放置在一水平表面(例如桌面)上,以平底面55(见图5)接触水平面,使容器更进一步地稳定。
如前所述,拉片伸至容器周边以外的一预定距离,此距离足以使使用者容易抓住拉片。拉片伸出容器周边最好约5毫米至约50毫米,更优选约15至25毫米。
柔软薄片可用各种不透水的材料做成并可有各种不同厚度。薄片必须具有足够的柔韧性以便使用者容易将薄片从容器上除掉。薄片最好是用金属(例如铝)箔或金属箔复合体形成。优选的薄片厚度约0.01至约0.10毫米,更优选约0.04至约0.05毫米。
容器可用各种材料形成,但最好是透明的,以便使用者能检查透镜而不需打开贮放装置。优选的材料包括各种透明的、可模制的、基本上憎水的塑料,诸如聚乙烯或聚丙烯。容器材料的厚度最好是约0.5毫米至约1.0毫米。
许多方法都可将容器附着在柔软薄片上。但是容器与薄片间的结合力不应太大,即,使用者应能容易迅速地将薄片与容器分离。将薄片附着到容器上的最好方法包括用粘合剂涂布在其间或者用热封的方法,二者都是本领域中所熟知的。
本发已做详细叙述,并附之最佳具体实施方案,以便能使读者实践本发明而不需过分的进行实验。但是本领域的普通技术人员能够迅速认识到,许多所公开的内容可在某种程度上被改变或限制而没有脱离本发明的范围和精神。因此,将本发明的知识产权用下面的权利要求书来限定。
Claims (14)
1.一种贮存接触透镜的装置,该装置包括:
(a)限制能容纳接触透镜和基本围绕该接触透镜的液体的小池的容器,该容器包括沿容器周边向外伸展的凸缘;
(b)可分离地附着在所说容器上以提供基本上不透液体的密封的柔软容器盖;
(c)稳定所说装置的装置,包括在容器上的至少两个凹口,所说凹口置于所说容器相对的两边,由此使之能用姆指和食指握住该装置;
(d)能用手除去所说的盖并取存所说接触透镜的抓住该盖的装置。
2.权利要求1所述的装置,其中所说的柔软的盖包括不透液体材料的柔软薄片。
3.权利要求2所述的装置,其中所说的盖是在所说柔软盖和容器凸缘之间涂布粘合剂附着在该容器的周边凸缘上的。
4.权利要求3所述的装置,其中所说容器和所说薄片之间有粘性,以维持容器处理过程中的密封整体性,又不显著妨碍用手从所说容器除掉所说薄片。
5.权利要求2所述的装置,其中所说的盖包括金属箔片。
6.权利要求2所述的装置,其中所说的柔软盖延伸至容器的一边之外,由此形成一拉片,以使能用手抓住所说的柔软盖片。
7.权利要求6所述的装置,进一步包括附着于所说拉片上的拉片抓握装置,其中所说的拉片抓握装置是其上具有许多突起肋条纹的硬质材料。
8.权利要求6所述的装置,其中所说的拉片延伸至所说容器的所说边外约5毫米至约50毫米。
9.权利要求1所述的装置,其中所说的容器是由透明塑料形成。
10.权利要求1所述的装置,其中所说的容器包括在所说的盖的对面的一平底面,从而可将所说的装置置于平的贮放表面并保持预定方向。
11.权利要求10所述的装置,其中所说的容器具有一般的半球形,其平底面处于基本与半球周边平行的面上;并具有凸缘在半球周边的平面内从半球周边延伸至半球以外的各点。
12.权利要求1所述的装置,其中所说的凹口具有约5至约30毫米的基本均匀的曲率半径。
13.权利要求11所述的装置,进一步包括附着于所说稳定装置的所说凹口上的一对唇缘,该唇缘基本上远离所说凸缘一边垂直延伸并基本上与所说凹口的形状符合。
14.权利要求13所述的装置,其中所说的唇缘有脊状物从所说唇缘的表面延伸,因而能用手抓握住所说唇缘。
