Abstract
本发明涉及一种用于显示长度变化的柱条的显示元件(10),该显示元件包括并排布置的多个光室(4i),所述光室分别具有相对于相邻光室(4i)的挡光件(20)。所述光室(4i)分别包括光导体(2i),其中,所述挡光件(20)由光导体(2i)的不透光或仅部分透光的侧面构成。另外,本发明还涉及相应的显示仪器、汽车、显示方法、以及光导体(2i)的相应应用。
Description
本发明涉及一种包括多个并排布置的光室的显示元件,所述光室分别具有与相邻光室隔开的挡光件。显示元件例如可以用于显示油箱液位、用于显示速度或者用于显示转速。显示元件可以是组合仪表的一部分。
本发明还涉及一种显示仪器和汽车。
本发明还涉及一种显示方法。
本发明还涉及光导体的应用。
DE19606245B4提出了一种具有可单独控制的光室的显示仪器,这分隔壁被构造为光导体。
该公知的显示技术具有下述缺点:这种类型的柱状图(条形图)给用户带来一种粗糙和/或模糊、进而过时的印象。因为实际发光的柱条区由于光室之间的分隔壁而不连续地显示。由于当今图像在电脑屏幕和智能手机上普遍具有高分辨率也就提高了用户对其它类型电子显示器的视觉精度的期望。
本发明的目的在于,提出一种显示元件,其显示能满足当今对技术上完美的光学输出的期望。
根据本发明,该目的通过根据权利要求1所述的显示元件、通过根据权利要求7所述的显示仪器、通过根据权利要求8所述的汽车、通过根据权利要求9所述的显示方法并且通过根据权利要求10所述的光导体的应用来实现。本发明有利的改进方案在从属权利要求中给出。
根据本发明的显示元件包括并排布置的多个光室(4i),所述光室分别具有相对于相邻光室的挡光件。这些光室分别包括光导体,所述挡光件由光导体的不透光(即光线不可穿透)或仅部分透光的侧面构成。
关于显示仪器,该目的通过使得显示仪器包括本发明的显示元件来实现。
关于汽车,该目的通过使得汽车包括本发明的显示元件和/或本发明的显示仪器来实现的。
关于显示方法,该目的通过下述方式来实现:在借助于本发明的显示元件进行显示时,在当前发光的光室之间没有光室不发光,从而借助于显示元件显示无间隙的柱条(条形图)。
关于光导体的应用,该目的通过下述方式来实现:将光导体的不透光的或者仅部分透光的侧面用作显示元件的光室的分隔壁。
借助于光导体的不透光(即光线不可穿透)或者仅部分透光的侧面,使在光室中产生的光和/或为光室产生的光在光导体的不透光或者仅部分透光的侧面上被吸收和/或反射。如果相邻的光室通过光室专有的光源被无间隙地照亮,对观察者而言就会产生如下视觉效果(感觉):仅存在唯一一个连续的光室。
一方面,借助于光通量,光导体向用户显示唯一一个连续的光源,直至最后一个发光的光室的光导体的不透光或仅部分透光的侧面。另一方面,光导体的不透光或仅部分透光的侧面阻止了透射到最接近的未发光的光室内。因而使刻度界限精准地发光。
由于界限精准,观察者并不会由显示元件的视觉外观而容易觉得该显示元件是有级显示的。因而在显示元件工作时,用户从显示元件获得如同具有清楚划界的模拟显示的显示元件那样的印象。因此,就多个前后相继连接的光室而言,会产生连续柱条(条形图)的效果,该效果等同于(分级控制的)模拟显示,从其显示能力来看,该显示没有量化(即无限高的分辨率)。由此,利用所述显示元件实现了显示内容与当今对完美的、在技术上无缺点的光学输出的期望相匹配的显示元件。
优选地,不透光或仅部分透光的侧面是镜面化的或部分镜面化的。由此会改善显示的效率。效率在此是显示元件的可由用户察觉到的发光强度与光室专有光源的发光强度之间的比率。此外,采用镜面或部分镜面还可以改善光室内部的光分布。
有利地,光导体的第二侧面与光导体的第一侧面相对而置并且是透光的。由此避免柱条束内的光线边缘可由用户察觉到。
尤其有利地,光室并排地依次布置。于是,为了显示拟模拟值(Quasianalogwert),使用显示元件来显示可被用户直观容易理解的柱条(即用于显示条形图)。
一个实施方式规定:光室分别包括至少一个电光源。
有利地是:电光源具有发光二极管。所述两项措施中的每一个都有助于采用经过验证的技术来成本低廉地实现显示。
现在借助于附图进一步对本发明进行阐述。在附图中:
图1示意性地示出了在柱条显示元件工作期间柱条显示元件的侧向纵剖图;并且
图2示意性地示出了在柱条显示元件工作期间柱条显示元件的俯视图。
接下来要进一步阐述的实施例是本发明的优选的实施方式。
在图1中示出的柱条显示元件10包括导体板12,在该导体板上布置有横向于柱条方向61的多个光导体2i。与导体板12并行地布置有柱条显示元件10的刻度板14。光导体2i在底边27处与导体板12齐平地终止,而在顶边28处与刻度板14齐平地终止。在光导体2i之间布置有可单独控制的光源3i(通常为发光二极管)。在光导体的面向相邻光导体2i的两个侧面21、22的第一侧面21上,每个光导体2i都具有镜面化的和/或不透光的表面20。
首先,光导体2i的不透光的第一侧面21限定光室4i的边界,借助于这些侧面防止光源3i照进与光源本身的光室4i相邻的光室4i内。特别地,由此使与(就当前显示的柱条长度62而言)最后一个当前发光的光室4i直接相邻的光室4i保持不发光。其优点在于:柱条实际发光的端部63(这对于用户很重要,因为它借助于柱条端部63来读取所显示的当前的拟模拟值)精确地与光室4i序列中最后发光的光室4i的当前的光边界6i相一致。
其次,通过光导体2i在其两个侧面21、22(所述侧面都面向相邻的光导体2i)的第二侧面22上是透光的,使得从光源3i发出的光50一直传播到光室4i的十分狭窄的边界6i处。其优点在于:在发光和不发光的光室4i之间的边界63不是模糊地、而是精准地被表示出来。如果在发光的光室4i之间没有光室4i不发光,柱条显示元件10就会在视觉上向用户提供连续、高精度显示的有利印象。
通过镜面化的和/或不透光的表面20会改善光室4i内部的光分布和发光效率。
图2示意性地示出了在柱条显示元件10工作期间柱条显示元件10的俯视图。
所提出的柱条显示元件10具有以下优点:
-采用无间隙的光柱60(条形图)使得显示元件10具有最高的分辨率。
-柱条显示元件10为用户呈现了充满未来感的设计。
-柱条显示元件10可结实且廉价地制造和使用。仅仅会因为生产不透光或者生产仅部分透光的成本而产生附加的成本。
-柱条(条形图)60可以配有任意的宽度和弯曲走向。
Claims (10)
1.一种显示元件(10),其中,该显示元件(10)包括并排布置的多个光室(4i),所述光室分别具有相对于相邻光室(4i)的挡光件(20),其特征在于,
所述光室(4i)分别包括光导体(2i),其中,所述挡光件(20)由光导体(2i)的不透光或仅部分透光的侧面构成。
2.按照权利要求1所述的显示元件(10),其特征在于,所述不透光或仅部分透光的侧面(20)是镜面化的或部分镜面化的。
3.按照权利要求1或2所述的显示元件(10),其特征在于,光导体(2i)的第二侧面(22)与光导体的第一侧面(21)相对而置并且是透光的。
4.按照权利要求1至3之一所述的显示元件(10),其特征在于,所述光室(4i)并排地依次布置。
5.按照权利要求1至4之一所述的显示元件(10),其特征在于,所述光室(4i)分别包括至少一个电光源(3i)。
6.按照权利要求5所述的显示元件(10),其特征在于,所述电光源(3i)具有发光二极管。
7.一种显示仪器,其特征在于,该显示仪器包括按照权利要求1至6之一所述的显示元件(10)。
8.一种汽车,其特征在于,该汽车包括按照权利要求1至6之一所述的显示元件(10)和/或按照权利要求7所述的显示仪器。
9.一种显示方法,其特征在于,在借助于按照权利要求4至6之一所述的显示元件进行显示时,在当前发光的光室之间不存在不发光的光室,从而借助于所述显示元件显示出无间隙的柱条。
10.光导体(2i)的应用,其特征在于,将光导体(2i)的不透光的或者仅部分透光的侧面(21)用作显示元件(10)的光室(4i)的分隔壁。
