密封条
技术领域
本发明涉及密封条。更具体而言,本发明涉及对基于纸板的包装进行密封的感应密封条、以及提供这样的密封条的方法。
背景技术
通常在液体食物包装中使用基于纸板的包装。典型地,为了形成这样的包装,基于纸板的材料的卷材通过填充机传输,其中,基于纸板的材料的所述卷材被用于形成封闭的容器,从而封入所述液体食物。
提供这样的包装的一个方式是通过管道形成站来馈送基于纸板的卷材,其中,所述材料卷材的2个纵向终端被密封。液体产品被导入管道,由此,接下来,将上下端横向密封,从而形成单独的包装。还可以进行侧翼折叠,从而获得包装的实质上平坦的上下端。
形成基于纸板的包装的另一个方式是利用例如被分离的封闭构件(诸如盖)封闭的塑料顶部。或者与塑料顶部成型的同时、或者在制造塑料顶部之后作为分离的步骤,基于纸板的管道连接至塑料顶部。液体食物然后导入至管道/顶部结构,由此密封并折叠基于纸板的管道的开口端,以形成封闭的包装。
可以用各种方式来完成密封,然而,感应密封已被证明为是非常有效的方法。该原理对于无菌包装特别有利,其中,基于纸板的材料包含以层状结构在2层聚合物材料之间排列的铝的薄层,用于形成抵御外部环境的固体屏障。当这样的基于纸板的材料的2个终端彼此非常邻近地排列时,诸如要实现横向或者纵向密封的情况下,密封条可以对基于纸板的材料压下。密封条包含线圈,并且电流允许流经线圈。所以,线圈将感应出涡电流,其会导致在铝箔中产生热量。产生的热量将使与铝箔相邻的聚合物材料熔体,由此这些层将彼此粘接。
密封条的示例例如在瑞典专利公开SE 451973和欧洲专利申请EP0642914中有公开。
当出于该目的制造密封条时,需要在密封条和包装材料之间提供用于控制紧密接触的平坦表面。这是通过多步骤处理完成的,涉及提供线圈的第一步骤。通常由铜制成且具有圆形形状的线圈然后被研磨,以形成平滑且平坦的表面。线圈之后嵌入塑料主体,由此线圈的平坦表面对准主体的平坦表面。通过这种方式,密封条将具有完整地平坦的表面,以接触线圈和塑料主体这两者,从而,形成用于线圈的支持件以及密封处理的按压表面。
然而,已经意识到密封条、尤其是平坦表面以及其他在包装的密封期间会暴露到非常高的温度。这样的暴露将最终使塑料主体从其原始的形状变形,其可能导致在线圈和塑料主体之间的损坏的界面。
这样的缺陷最终还可能降低由密封条获得的密封的质量,由此降低液体食物包装的总质量。
因此,有利的是提供一种避免上述缺陷的更耐用的密封条。
发明内容
鉴于上述说明,本发明的目的在于解决或者至少减少上述问题。
本发明的目的在于提供一种用于密封基于纸板的包装的密封条和生产密封条的方法,其在线圈与线圈周围的支持主体之间具有改善的界面。
该目的通过一种提供感应密封条的方法实现,其包括以下步骤:提供具有至少一个加热区域的导电线圈;将所述线圈嵌入支持主体,使得所述支持主体沿着至少一个加热区域的长度的至少一些部分覆盖整个线圈;以及通过将所述线圈和所述支持主体平坦化,提供所述密封条的密封表面,使得沿着所述至少一个加热区域的整个长度暴露所述线圈。
在一个以上的实施例中,所述线圈和所述支持主体在单个步骤中同时被平坦化。
在一个或一个以上的实施例中,提供密封表面的步骤通过材料移除机械加工工艺执行。在一个或一个以上的实施例中,材料移除机械加工工艺是铣削。
此外,在一个或一个以上的实施例中,通过将所述线圈和所述支持主体在与所述至少一个加热区域的纵向延伸平行的方向平坦化,执行提供密封表面的步骤。
在一个或一个以上的实施例中,将所述线圈嵌入所述支持主体的步骤通过成型工艺执行。
此外,在一个或一个以上的实施例中,成型工艺是注射成型。

具体实施方式
从图1开始,示出了液体食物填充机6。填充机6包含用于基于纸板的材料卷材的馈送单元7。在运行时,基于纸板的材料卷材通过填充机6并通过各部(例如消毒部3和各种张力/速度调节部)传输。在将卷材消毒之后,材料通过管道形成部8传输,其中,包装材料的纵向端部被纵向密封,以形成开口端管道9。液体食物(诸如牛奶、果汁等)通过液体食物供应单元10被导入管道9,由此提供横向密封部14来将管道9密封,并从管道9切割出单个的包装15。密封部14可以优选的是还设置有折叠装置,用于将包装的封闭端成形。
密封部14可以典型地包含密封条和对应的砧座(未示出)。密封条和/或砧座可朝向和远离管道9移动,以允许管道9从密封部14移进移出。当要密封管道9的开口端时,密封条紧密接触管道9的包装材料的2层中的一层。包装材料的相反层的外侧对应地紧密接触关联的砧座。当激活时,密封条在包装材料中产生热量,由此包装材料层的内聚合物层当彼此靠压时会熔融。在加热之后,2个聚合物层粘接,由此将包装密封。
现在转向图2a和2b,示出了密封条100的更详细的视图。密封条100包含由铜制成的线圈110,线圈110嵌入由聚合物材料制成的支持主体120。线圈110从密封条100的第一端102线性延伸至相反端104,并且电触点(未示出)连接至线圈,以允许电流借助外部电源(未示出)流经线圈110。冷却单元(未示出)也可以设置在密封条中。优选的是,提供线圈110来形成2个加热区域,其中,这些区域平行设置并间隔开。对于这样的实施例而言,线圈110从第一端102延伸,线性延伸至相反端104,因此形成第一加热区域111a,并在此改变方向,且线性返回至第一端102,因此形成第二加热区域111b。第一加热区域优选的是与第二加热区域间隔预定的距离排列。因此,2个电触点设置在第一端102,由此,对于2个加热区域需要单个电源。通过具有这样的线圈布置,单个密封条100可以同时提供2个相邻的密封。在线圈110的加热区域之间提供槽106,以允许切割工具在槽106中运行,由此,包装可以以有效的方式从管道9释放。因此,单个的密封条可以同时密封第一包装的上端以及接下来的包装的下端,并且提供用于使包装彼此分离的切割线。为了实现该目的,线圈优选的是提供有将第一加热区域与第二加热区域连接的部分,其终端部分相对于加热区域成角度延伸,以便使线圈110不延伸到槽106内。
现在转向图2b,示出了密封条100的剖视图。密封条100具有实质上是平坦的上表面130,以沿着密封条100的整个长度提供与包装材料的紧密接触。上表面130在线圈110的2个加热区域上延伸,并且在槽106处中断。线圈110的每个加热区域还包含隆起112,隆起112从平坦表面130突出并沿着每个加热区域的整个长度线性延伸,以保证在密封条100和包装材料之间的完全接触。
优选的是在支持主体120内提供磁插入体140,使其至少在一定程度上包围线圈110。例如可以由有胶粘剂的羰基铁(ferrotrone)制成的磁插入体140使得当密封条100激活时产生的磁场增强,由此,需要较小的电流来实现包装的充分密封。
磁插入体140可以沿着线圈110的整个长度延伸,或者其可以被设置为沿着线圈110的长度在各种位置分布的隔离的构件。优选的是,这样的隔离的磁插入体140可以排列在线圈110的加热区域的终端102、104、以及线圈110的中心。终端位置是有利的,因为当包装材料折叠时可以要求附加的功率。此外,中心定位的磁插入体140可以对包装的纵向密封存在的范围提供附加的功率,因此,要求热量通过包装材料的附加的层传输。
优选的是,磁插入体140设置有圆形角,如图2b所示。这是有利的,因为聚合物主体120将以非常耐用的方式围绕插入体140,降低在磁插入体140为尖角的情况下可能存在的捕获孔或者裂缝的风险。
平坦表面130沿着线圈110的加热区域的整个长度,在支持主体120和线圈110之间形成均一界面150。这保证了密封条100的耐用操作,并降低了支持主体120沿着该界面150开裂或者变形的风险。
为了提供改善的密封条100,现在参考图3a至3c。在这些图中,示出了在制造期间、即在线圈110已嵌入支持主体120之后的中间条件下的密封条100。
如图3b所示,线圈110嵌入支持主体120中而没有平坦的密封表面。实际上,线圈由具有圆形、或者椭圆形横截面的导电导管预制造。优选的是,线圈具有包含中空内部空间的管状形状,其中,可以供应冷却流体以在操作期间降低密封条的温度。参考图3a至3c,仍未提供线圈的最终形状、即具有隆起112的平坦的密封表面。
支持主体120通过将聚合物材料成型而形成。在该实施例中,支持主体120通过将线圈110对准模具,并对聚合物材料注射成型来形成。对于该特定密封条100而言,线圈110在模具内对准在与模具的内缘相隔预定距离处,使得支持主体120的聚合物材料将覆盖整个线圈110,至少沿着线圈110的加热区域的长度的一些部分覆盖。其进一步的细节在图3a中示出,其中线圈110仅沿着每个加热区域的长度的一些部分114暴露。线圈110的暴露区域114的准确的配置当然可以变化;但线圈110的加热区域应该平行,并在支持主体120内以特定深度延伸。
暴露的区域114由模具壁中的突出形成,提供突出以在注射聚合物材料以形成支持主体120期间,以牢固地保持适当地定位在模具中的线圈110。即,在暴露的区域114处,在聚合物材料的注射期间,线圈110和模具彼此互相接触。
磁插入体140也对准在模具内,以保证插入体140相对于线圈110的位置适当。
通过将支持主体120注射成型来至少沿着其长度的一些部分覆盖整个线圈110,这保证了支持主体120沿着线圈110的整个长度紧密接触线圈110,由此,提供平坦表面130的接下来的步骤(在图3b和3c中由虚线表明)将在支持主体120和线圈110之间形成均一界面150。
因此,在制造期间,线圈110被包覆成型。此处和下文的术语"包覆成型"是指在线圈上成型,即,线圈至少部分嵌入形成支持主体120的聚合物材料或被形成支持主体120的聚合物材料包装,即,至少在一定程度上被形成主体120的聚合物材料覆盖,即,使用一些过量的聚合物材料来制造密封条。
包覆成型可以以各种方式执行。参考图3b,沿着图3a所示的l-l线示出了半完成的密封条100。如图在线圈暴露的该线处、在暴露的区域114可见,支持主体120形成在线圈110的每个侧并且具有的顶表面115比线圈110的暴露的顶表面的水平高。现在转向图3c,沿着图3a的ll-ll线示出密封条,示出线圈110的包覆成型面积。聚合物材料的上表面不均一。在暴露的面积114之间,在线圈110上有覆盖面积116,在面积116处包覆成型聚合物材料的厚度没有与线圈110相邻排列的面积那么大。为了形成覆盖面积116,模具在保持线圈110的突出之间设置有附加的突出。因此,聚合物材料不能将线圈110上的面积116填充至与线圈110相邻排列的面积相同的程度。
用于聚合物材料熔体的入口设置在模具的横向终端处,使得聚合物材料熔体被引导从一端102流至相反端104。因此,聚合物材料熔体将沿着线圈的纵向延伸流动,并泄漏到线圈上形成的开口空间,即,形成覆盖面积116,并使得包覆成型的纵向腹板将在每侧与线圈平行提供。
现在转向图4,将提供用于提供密封条100的方法的更详细说明。方法300包含提供线圈110的第一步骤302。线圈110具有与要密封的包装的至少宽度对应的纵向延伸部,以形成液体食物包装。此外,根据之前的说明,线圈110具有例如圆形或者椭圆形之类的管状横截面。
在下个步骤304中,线圈在与模具的内表面间隔一定距离处被导入到模具中,使得可以提供线圈的包覆成型。优选的是,方法还包含步骤306,其中,一个或者若干磁插入体被排列在模具中,并在预定距离处与线圈对准。线圈110被突出保持在模具中的合适位置。
接下来的步骤308执行如下:将基于聚合物的材料注射成型到所述模具中,使得基于聚合物的材料覆盖整个线圈,至少沿着其长度的一些部分覆盖。基于聚合物的材料例如可以是化合物材料,以改善密封条的最终质量。尤其是,基于聚合物的材料应该能够承受高温以及快速加热和冷却而不会变形。
优选的是执行步骤308,使得聚合物材料熔体沿着加热区域的长度实质上与线圈平行流动,并且被允许泄漏到线圈与模具之间形成的空间,以在特定位置(即覆盖面积116)处覆盖线圈。因此,聚合物材料的纵向腹板在线圈的每侧(即、每个加热区域的每侧)与线圈相邻形成。对于线圈的每个加热区域,2个相反的聚合物材料熔融腹板被允许在线圈不接触模具的位置相遇,使得线圈在这些位置被完全覆盖。
在最终步骤310中,成型的密封条(即线圈嵌入支持主体)被机械加工以形成平坦密封表面。步骤310还包含提供纵向隆起112。优选的是,执行单个的铣削步骤来提供支持主体120的平坦表面、线圈110的平坦表面、以及隆起112。更优选的是,铣削步骤在密封条的纵向方向进行,从终端102、104中的一个开始。
该最终步骤310保证了在密封条的表面处的线圈与聚合物主体之间的界面均一,使得没有裂缝或者变形会使聚合物主体将线圈暴露至比制造之后更严重的程度。
如上所述,线圈的包覆成型以及过多线圈材料以及过多支持主体材料的接下来的移除将保证线圈与支持主体之间更均一的界面,尤其是在使用密封条期间用于面对包装材料的平坦表面处。
包覆成型可以以各种方式实现。例如,如上所述,由于聚合物材料熔体从纵向腹板流动,因此线圈可以由在线圈上横向延伸的多个拱肋包覆成型。这些拱肋可以彼此以恒定距离设置,并且每个拱肋的优选宽度与2个相邻的拱肋之间的距离实质上相同。此外,包覆成型还可以通过提供沿着线圈的长度延伸以覆盖线圈的一个或一个以上的纵向拱肋完成。
本领域的技术人员可以知晓随着技术的进步,基本想法可以以各种方式实现。因此,本发明和其实施例不限于上述示例,反而,其可以在权利要求的范围内变化。
在示例性实施例中,线圈110由铜制成,并且支持主体由聚合物材料制成。在其他实施例中,能够使用其他材料。例如,替代地,线圈可以由铝、银、金或者基于铜的合金制成。支持主体120可以替代地由陶瓷材料制成。
图3a-3c示出的实施例示出具有暴露面积114的包覆成型的一个示例。要理解的是能够做出替代的包覆成型。如果线圈110在其横向终端102、104被固定装置保持在合适位置,而不是被突出保持在产生暴露面积114的模具壁中,那么线圈可以被完全包覆成型。类似于图3a至3c中的实施例,聚合物材料熔体的入口应该在模具的横向终端设置,使得聚合物材料熔体被引导从一端102流至相反端104。在另一个替代的包覆成型中,线圈110由薄纵向突出保持,其提供在模具中,从一个横向终端102延伸至另一横向终端104。然后在与线圈110相邻的面积中并且一些沿着线圈110进行包覆成型,但是至少沿着对准线圈110的纵向延伸部的连续中心线留下线圈110被暴露。
在示例性实施例中,成型的密封条(即线圈嵌入支持主体)被机械加工以形成平坦密封表面,并执行铣削处理。铣削是机械加工工艺,涉及用旋转铣削切割器来切割材料。替代地,能够使用另一个材料移除工艺,例如磨削机械加工工艺、诸如例如研磨。
类似地,已说明了支持主体120由聚合物材料的注射成型形成。在替代实施例中,支持主体120通过其他常规成型工艺形成,诸如例如通过压缩成型、注射压缩和传输冲压/成型而形成。

Claims (12)

1.一种用于提供感应密封条的方法,其包括以下步骤:
提供具有至少一个加热区域的导电线圈;
将所述线圈嵌入支持主体,使得所述支持主体沿着所述至少一个加热区域的长度的至少一些部分覆盖整个线圈,其中将所述线圈嵌入所述支持主体的步骤通过沿着所述至少一个加热区域的纵向延伸的至少一部分将所述线圈包覆成型来执行,其中通过允许聚合物材料在与所述至少一个加热区域的纵向延伸实质上平行的方向流动来形成所述包覆成型,其中所述聚合物材料被允许在所述线圈的每侧流动,从而形成2个平行腹板,并流入中心对准所述线圈的纵向轴的分隔空腔来连接所述平行腹板;以及
通过将所述线圈和所述支持主体平坦化,提供所述密封条的密封表面,使得所述线圈沿着所述至少一个加热区域的整个长度暴露。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中,所述线圈和所述支持主体在单个步骤中同时被平坦化。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的方法,其中,提供密封表面的步骤通过材料移除机械加工工艺执行。
4.如权利要求3所述的方法,其中,所述材料移除机械加工工艺是铣削。
5.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中,通过将所述线圈和所述支持主体在与所述至少一个加热区域的纵向延伸平行的方向平坦化来执行提供密封表面的步骤。
6.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中,将所述线圈嵌入所述支持主体的步骤通过成型工艺执行。
7.如权利要求6所述的方法,其中,所述成型工艺是注射成型。
8.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中,提供密封表面的步骤还包括提供沿着至少一个加热区域的长度延伸的隆起。
9.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中,提供所述密封条的密封表面的步骤包含移除所述线圈的一部分和所述支持主体的一部分,使得所述支持主体包围所述线圈的周边的至少180°。
10.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中,将所述至少一个线圈嵌入支持主体的步骤还包含将至少一个磁插入体嵌入所述支持主体内的步骤。
11.如权利要求10所述的方法,其中,嵌入至少一个磁插入体的步骤还包含提供具有圆形角的所述至少一个磁插入体的步骤。
12.一种用于在填充机中密封包装材料的密封条,其通过根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的方法制造。
