Description
本发明涉及一种用于输送粉尘的粉尘管,其具有至少一个用于监控粉尘性能的光学传感器。另外,本发明涉及一种用于测量粉尘管中的粉尘性能的方法。
在众多自动化过程中,使用粉尘管来输送粉尘,其中要么将粉尘定向地输送至其应用地要么另外将其从其产生地运走。在下文中,粉尘被理解为固体颗粒的聚合体(Ansammlung),其粒径显著小于1mm,通常小于100μm。回旋在空气中的粉尘可以长时间地漂浮并由此还可以以回旋的形式借助气动操作的粉尘管将其与气流一起运输。这样的粉尘管的最重要的应用是在燃煤电厂中,其中经由粉尘管将经磨细的、粒径通常为最大0.5mm的煤粉供入燃烧器。然而,还存在另外的自动化过程,其中经由粉尘管输送大量粉尘,例如,在食品制造中供应面粉、可可粉或淀粉时或者在材料加工过程中去除木材粉尘和金属粉尘的过程。
对于很多这样的过程而言,期望监控所输送的粉尘的组成。出于质量控制和过程监控的理由,平均颗粒尺寸、水分含量和其它化学组成的测量和监控可以是有意义的。在燃煤电厂中供应煤粉时,煤的热值是首要监控的重要参数。热值是针对在燃烧期间每单位质量的燃料所释放的能量的量度。对煤粉而言,该热值尤其取决于煤粉的湿度、取决于煤粒的化学组成并取决于煤粉的颗粒尺寸。在电厂的操作期间,所有这些参数应当保持在预定的工艺窗口内,其中所述预定的工艺窗口还可以随时间而变化,例如,当电厂的标称功率全天变化时。
原则上,借助光学测量方法来监控粉尘性能是所希望的。然而,由于管内的光学探头暴露于强烈的磨损,因而在粉尘管内进行光学测量是非常困难的。尤其在输送煤粉时,粉尘管的壁上发生非常强烈的磨损,因此具有敏感的光学窗口的光学探头很快被损坏。已知仅存在反射测量的可能性,其中将测量探头与粉尘管内壁齐平地布置。然而,此时磨损还是较大。在正常工艺条件下清洁或更换探头是极其困难且昂贵的。因为所有可燃烧的粉末如煤粉、木粉、面粉、可可粉、淀粉和纤维素粉,原则上都是易爆的,所以这样的粉尘管必须以防爆的方式来操作。这排斥定期清洁、维修或更换光学探头以及在粉尘管内采用一些其它测量方法,例如电测量方法。
本发明的目的在于,提供一种用于输送粉尘的粉尘管,其具有至少一个光学传感器,该粉尘管避免了上述缺点。本发明的另一个目的在于,提供一种用于测量粉尘管中的粉尘的性能的方法。
该目的是通过权利要求1所述的粉尘管和权利要求8所述的方法来实现的。
根据本发明的用于在自动化过程中输送粉尘的粉尘管包括至少一个用于监控粉尘性能的光学传感器。所述光学传感器被设置在粉尘管的凹槽中,其中所述凹槽配有至少一个用于将粉尘从光学传感器去除的进气喷嘴。

光学传感器可以是用于测量反射的传感器,其包括至少一个探头体和光学窗口。在此,探头体充当光学测量装置的支撑体,并且光学窗口构成了光学传感器与待测量的样品体积(即包含在凹槽中的粉尘)之间的接口。测量反射性能之所以是有利的,因为大多数粉尘在红外和可见光区域中几乎不透明,而在部分波长处具有相对高的反射系数。其中光学窗口和探头体能够相互分开的实施方式也是特别有利的,例如以便于在可能磨损的情况下将该组件相互分开地更换和/或清洁,这是因为在持续运行中,凹槽内经保护的环境中同样也能发生光学传感器组件的磨损和/或污染。
光学传感器可以包括至少一个用于将光线发射到光学窗口的光源、至少一个用于测量光线的光电探测器和至少一个光波导(Lichtwellenleiter)。在此,所述至少一个光波导用于将光线从光源传输至光学窗口并用于将待测量的光从光学窗口引导至光电探测器。对光学测量有利的波长区域是光谱的可见光区域和红外区域,特别地780nm至3μm的近红外区域(NIR)和3μm至50μm的中红外区域(MIR)。在红外区域中测量时,有利的是所述至少一个光波导包括氟化物光纤和/或蓝宝石光纤。光学传感器还可包括两个或多个光波导。
光学传感器可包括至少一个用于将光线分解成其光谱分量的元件。该元件例如可以是光栅或棱镜。尤其在应用可见光时有利的是,在光源与光学窗口之间已将光线分解成其光谱分量和/或选择特定的光谱区域以耦合进光学窗口中。可替代地或额外地,在光学窗口与光电探测器之间将再次解耦的光分解成其光谱成分,以便能够实现波长选择性的测量。
可替代地或额外地,光学传感器可包括至少一个用于通过傅里叶分析来计算出光线的光谱分量的元件。该实施方式尤其在应用红外光的情况下是有利的。用于计算出光谱分量的元件例如可以是干涉仪,该干涉仪借助分束器将光源发出的光分成两个相互干涉的单光束。在此,持续改变所述分光束之一的路径长度,以便在探测器上获得取决于该路径长度的测量信号。通过对所获得的干涉图进行傅里叶转换,可以计算出光线的光谱分量。
在粉尘管的凹槽中可布置多个进气喷嘴。该进气喷嘴可以这样构建,以便该进气喷嘴可以相对于粉尘的输送方向以至少两个不同的角度将空气或另一种非易燃性气体吹入凹槽中。使用多个进气喷嘴和从多个不同角度吹入气体能够实现,使凹槽和置于其中的光学传感器,尤其是光学窗口,特别可靠地和可重现地清空粉尘。而且,在进气喷嘴之一失效的情况下,一个或多个另外的喷嘴仍然能够可靠地使凹槽清空粉尘。特别有利的是,所述进气喷嘴不是同时运行的,而是在多个喷嘴的情况下依次变换地吹入气体。通过将沉积的粉尘可控地输送到粉尘管的输送流中,这防止形成不利的回旋并且使得可靠的清洁成为可能。
光学传感器可以是这样的传感器,其适用于在样品窗口中测量光线的衰减全内反射( inneren Totalreflexion)。衰减全内反射的方法(亦ATR光谱法)是这样一种测量方法,其中在具有高折射率的光学窗口中以全反射的方式引导照射。使待检测的样品接触光学窗口或在空间上极其接近于光学窗口,随后待检测的样品在光学窗口内可使全反射衰减。该衰减以光线的消散电磁场与样品的相互作用为基础,其中该相互作用的有效范围处于光波长的区域。在本发明的实施方式中,采用这样的光传感器因此基本上可以测量直接处在光学窗口上的粉尘颗粒。光线的全内反射的衰减对于待测样品的吸收所处的那些光谱区域来说是特别强烈的。在光谱分辨式测量的情况下,在该光谱区域中测量特征谱带,这使得待检测样品的化学组成的推断成为可能。待检测粉尘颗粒的颗粒尺寸还影响了全内反射的衰减程度并由此影响了所测光谱带的强度。
对于衰减全内反射的测量而言,有利的是,光学窗口的折射率为大于1.5,特别有利地大于2。适用于这样的光学窗口的材料例如是钻石、蓝宝石、锗、硒化锌、卤化银、石英玻璃、硅、溴碘化铊或硒化砷锗。在此,光学窗口的形状被有利地如此配置,以便在光的光路中,在光学窗口的外界面上发生多次反射,也就是说,可以在光学窗口的多个位置上通过与待检测样品的光学相互作用发生内全反射的衰减。为此特别有利的是,光学窗口的实施方式为棱镜形状。
可替代地,光学传感器可以是这样的传感器,其适用于测量光线在粉尘上的漫反射。在该实施方式中,光线从光学窗口中解耦进入凹槽的内部空间中。光线被待测粉尘颗粒漫反射,某一部分被再次耦合回到光学窗口中并经由光波导被导入光电探测器。对于测量粉尘上的漫反射有利的是,光学窗口由这样的材料构成,该材料具有尽可能低的折射率,例如低于2,从而光可被解耦进凹槽的内部空间中。
用于测量粉尘管中的粉尘性能的本发明的方法的有利实施方式和扩展来自于权利要求8的从属权利要求。相应地,该方法可额外具有以下特征和/或步骤:
前述方法步骤可以多次重复,以便监控自动化过程。所述重复可以例如周期性进行。只有定期重复对粉尘的光学性能的测量才能够实现对正在进行的工艺的连续监控,例如检测预定的工艺窗口是否遵守预定的工艺参数。同样,通过这样不间断的对光学测量的重复才能实现这样的工艺参数的控制。
粉尘的光学性能可以是由沉积的粉尘所造成的在光学传感器的光学窗口中光线的全内反射的衰减。
可替代地,粉尘的光学性能可以是光在包含在凹槽中的粉尘上的漫反射。
粉尘的光学性能可以作为通过光学传感器的光源发出的光的波长的函数来测量。这样的测量方法尤其有利的情况是,粉尘的化学组成是相关的测量参数,因为对粉尘光学性能的光谱分辨式评估允许通过与已知物质和已知混合物的经归类的光谱带位置、谱带宽度和谱带强度的比较来直接分派成已知物质。此外,预定的工艺窗口还可被这样限定,以便只有预先界定的理想光谱中的特定的预定偏差可以被容忍。在光谱的任意区域中,在测量大于所允许的偏差的情况下必须校正工艺参数。
借助粉尘光学性能的测量还可以确定粉尘的颗粒大小。例如,由于与较少的大的粉尘颗粒相比,许多小粉尘颗粒使显著更多的物质在光学窗口中与光的消散波形成光学相互作用,所以平均有效颗粒大小可以由全内反射衰减的程度来确定。
借助粉尘光学性能的测量还可以确定粉尘的化学组成。特别地,通过分析光学性能的光谱依赖性可以容易地监控化学组成。在此可能特别相关的一个方面是监控粉尘的水分含量,确切地说,例如测量结合粉尘颗粒表面的水含量或者还测量结合结构的水。这借助于水在红外区域的熟知的水的吸收谱带能够被特别容易的实现。
待监控的自动化过程可以是在燃煤电厂中煤粉的供应。借助对煤粉光学性能的测量可以监控和/或控制预定工艺窗口的合规性。
接下来参考附图,借助两个优选实施例来阐述本发明,其中:

图1示出了根据第一优选实施例的粉尘管1的示意性横截面。所示出的是粉尘管1的截面,该粉尘管1包括用于监控粉尘2的光学传感器15,该光学传感器15在图1中通过它的探头体12和它的光学窗口14来描绘。光学传感器15被布置在粉尘管1的凹槽8中。粉尘管1用于沿输送方向6来输送粉尘2。在所述优选实施例中,粉尘管1是用于将煤粉输送到电厂中的燃烧装置的管道。在此,在研磨机中于燃烧装置相同的位置处产生煤粉。然而可替代地,也可以以已然是粉尘的形式来提供煤粉。煤粉的化学组成,特别是煤的湿度和热值,应当在供应煤粉期间不间断地被检测,以便确保该燃烧装置在所需的工艺窗口内工作并满足电厂的电力标称功率。该电力标称功率可以全天不同,这使得有必要重新设置和检测工艺参数。而且在电厂的标称功率恒定的情况下,煤粉热值的品质变化可以通过另一参数如变化的质量流量来补偿,以使总的热功率保持恒定。所测的关于化学组成的数值可以进一步用于监测原料、确切地说粗煤的品质。所测的关于煤粉的平均颗粒大小的数据可另外在调节上游的研磨机的参数时用作控制参数在所示出的实施例中,燃煤电厂是适合于石煤粉的电厂。然而可以设想适合于褐煤粉和石煤粉的电厂的备选实例。还可以是联合电厂,其中可以交替地燃烧石煤粉或褐煤粉,并且其中测定和监控用于各个时间点的煤的种类是特别重要的。同样,本发明的主题是粉尘管,该粉尘管在工业制造过程中将粉尘状的原料输送到装置,例如在食品制造中的面粉、可可粉或淀粉。可替代地,通过类似的粉尘管可以运走在材料加工过程中作为废品产生的粉尘,例如在锯厂或研磨厂的木粉或金属粉。在此,可通过光学测量来监控粉尘参数,例如来检测造成污染环境或有害健康的物质的废品,或者来监控材料加工过程的工艺参数。
图1所示的第一实施例中,粉尘2在输送期间聚集在粉尘管的凹槽8中。尤其是,粉尘沉积到光学窗口14上,这使得粉尘参数的光学测量成为可能。在粉尘性能的光学测量之后,通过经由进气喷嘴向凹槽8吹入空气,使凹槽8再次基本上清空粉尘2。在此,进气喷嘴是作为阻隔空气喷嘴(Sperrluftdüsen)10来实现的。然而,还可使用其它非易燃性气体来清洁光学窗口14。在所示出的实施例中,八个阻隔空气喷嘴10围绕光学窗口14被这样布置,以将该窗口14的不同区域从不同入射角度相继地用高压空气清洁并从而实现从凹槽8尽可能大幅地去除粉尘2。在使用阻隔空气清洁之后,关闭气流。凹槽可以重新由粉尘填充,并且可测定新的测量值。例如,可以在几秒后分别实现重复测量。可替代地,阻隔空气喷嘴还可以不对称地布置。例如,也可以这样布置单个阻隔空气喷嘴,以便其在粉尘管的方向上吹入气流。
在该图中,仅示意性地理解微细分布的粉尘颗粒2。在用于供应粉煤的过程中,事实上粉尘颗粒2是以显著更高的浓度通过管道来输送的。然而,通常的情况是,与图1中通过其外壁4来描绘的实际输送管相比,在凹槽8处沉积了粉尘颗粒2的更紧密堆积的聚集体。对凹槽内粉尘性能的测量使得测量结果相对地不依赖于输送管道中粉尘流密度的取决于工艺的变量。对于测量条件的可再现的重复而言重要的是,粉尘颗粒2的堆积密度在测量之间是可比较的。而且,凹槽8的形状和大小在此影响每次测量循环所沉积的粉尘2的量、测量前粉尘聚集的可再现性和对于凹槽8可再现的清洁的可能性。凹槽8例如可以具有圆柱体的形状并且有利地约为3至30mm宽以及3至30mm深。纵横比,即凹槽宽度和深度的比例,在此可以大于或小于1。作为圆柱形凹槽8的替代方式,也可设想其它形状,例如弧形、四方形、部分球形、或梯形。
图2中示出了在第一实施例中使用的光学传感器15的示意性细节图。该光学传感器是按照衰减全反射的机制来工作的。在此,红外线光束从光源22通过第一光波导18被耦合进光学窗口14中。在该实例中,光学窗口14具有梯形横截面,这导致在示例性的光路17中红外线在光学窗口14的外侧的三个平面上被反射。光学窗口14的材料在所使用的光波长的情况下具有大于2的折射率。在该实施例中,光学窗口由硒化锌制成。光学窗口14的折射率在任意情况下都如此高,以便在典型的光路17中光在窗口14的内侧上被全反射。然而,如果粉尘2紧密地沉积在光学窗口14的表面上,则粉尘可以与光的消散波发生相互作用,并且全内反射对于粉尘颗粒中的光束(Strahlung)有强吸收的那些波长是尤其衰减的。所保留的全反射照射17被第二光波导12通过探头体12导向光电探测器24。由光学传感器12测量的信号被引向在此未示出的读取单元。光源22可以发出单色光或多色光。在多色光的情况下,另外可以存在此处未示出的用于将光线分解成其光谱分量和/或用于选择这些分量之一的元件。可替代地,可将干涉仪这样布置在光路中,以便可以计算出单个波长成分,特别地计算出作为波长函数的衰减全反射。
图3中示出了根据本发明的第二实施例的光学传感器25的替代实施方案。在此,粉尘管1中凹槽8和阻隔空气喷嘴10的布置应当类似于图1中示出的第一实施例。光学传感器25是按照漫反射机制来工作的。为此,例如两个光源22被如此布置,以便它们的光束通过两个光波导20和28被耦合进光学窗口14中。光学窗口14由折射率低于1.6的材料构建,在该实施例中由石英玻璃构建。光源的光在此为可见光,该可见光在示例性的光路27中被从光学窗口14解耦并且可以被附近存在的粉尘颗粒2漫反射。在漫反射的情况下,存在反射光的宽角度分布,并且出射角度不一定与入射角度相同。部分反射光可以被两个光波导捕捉并且被引到光学传感器25。在此,光的波长还可以通过此处未示出的附加元件来选择。光学测量可以相继地针对光源的光谱区域中的不同波长来进行,或者通过干涉测量可以同时测量全部波长。在任何情况下,漫反射的强度都可作为波长的函数来确定,这使得不仅能够测量粉尘2取决于材料的吸收性能,而且能够测量粉尘密度和/或平均颗粒大小。
两个实施例均允许的是,通过定期重复测量来连续监控粉尘性能,如化学组成、湿度和颗粒大小,并且使用测量信号来控制相关的工艺参数。粉尘管1的该实施方式能够实现在光学传感器15、25低磨损的情况下于防爆环境中的测量。
Claims (15)
1.一种用于在自动化过程中输送粉尘(2)的粉尘管(1),粉尘管(1)具有至少一个用于监控粉尘(2)的性能的光学传感器(15、25),其特征在于,光学传感器(15、25)被布置在粉尘管(1)的凹槽(8)中,其中凹槽(8)配有至少一个用于将粉尘(2)从光学传感器(15、25)去除的进气喷嘴(10)。
2.根据权利要求1所述的粉尘管(1),其特征在于,光学传感器(15、25)为用于测量反射的传感器,该传感器包括至少一个探头体(12)和光学窗口(14)。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的粉尘管(1),其特征在于,光学传感器(15、25)包括至少一个用于将光线发射至光学窗口(14)的光源(22)、至少一个用于测量光线的光电探测器(24)和至少一个光波导(18、20、22)。
4.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的粉尘管(1),其特征在于,光学传感器(15、25)包括至少一个用于将光线分解成其光谱分量和/或用于通过傅里叶分析来计算所述光线的光谱分量的元件。
5.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的粉尘管(1),其特征在于,多个进气喷嘴(10)被布置在粉尘管(1)的凹槽(8)中,如此构建所述多个进气喷嘴(10),以使它们能够将空气相对于粉尘(2)的输送方向(6)以至少两个不同角度吹入凹槽(8)。
6.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的粉尘管(1),其中光学传感器(15)是适用于测量光线在光学窗口(14)中的衰减全内反射的传感器,并且其中光学窗口(14)的折射率为至少1.5,尤其是至少2.0。
7.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的粉尘管(1),其中所述光学传感器(25)是适用于测量光线在粉尘(2)上的漫反射的传感器。
8.用于测量粉尘管(1)中的粉尘(2)的性能的方法,其具有至少以下步骤:
-将粉尘(2)输送穿过粉尘管(1),
-借助至少一个布置在粉尘管(1)的凹槽(8)中的光学传感器(15,25),测量粉尘(2)的光学性能,
-借助至少一个布置在凹槽(8)中的进气喷嘴(10),通过吹入空气将粉尘(2)从光学传感器(15、25)去除。
9.根据权利要求8所述的方法,其中多次重复前述步骤,以便监控自动化过程。
10.根据权利要求8或9所述的方法,其中粉尘(2)的光学性能为由所沉积的粉尘(2)造成的光线在光学传感器(15)的光学窗口(14)中的全内反射的衰减。
11.根据权利要求8或9所述的方法,其中粉尘(2)的光学性能是光线在凹槽(8)所包含的粉尘(2)上的漫反射。
12.根据权利要求8至11中任一项所述的方法,其中粉尘(2)的光学性能作为经由光学传感器(15、25)的光源(22)发射的光线的波长的函数来测量。
13.根据权利要求8至12中任一项所述的方法,其中借助测量粉尘(2)的光学性能来确定粉尘(2)的颗粒大小。
14.根据权利要求8至13中任一项所述的方法,其中借助测量粉尘(2)的光学性能来确定粉尘(2)的化学组成。
15.根据权利要求9至14中任一项所述的方法,其中所述自动化过程是在燃煤电厂中供应煤粉,并且其中借助测量煤粉的光学性能来监控和/或控制预定的工艺窗口的合规性。
