由含氯化亚汞产物中得到金属汞的方法
本发明涉及一种处理氯化亚汞或含有该氯化物的产物以得到金属汞的方法。
在湿法精炼含汞硫化矿物的焙烧气体时,产生难于分离和利用的,称为“烟灰”和含元素汞的固化产物以及乳液状的其他汞化合物。
尽管元素汞和含硫(硫化亚汞)及氯(氯化亚汞)的化合物通常是占主要的,但这些“烟灰”的组成和其汞含量是非常多变的。上述后一种化合物对汞的回收特别有害,它复盖金属表面,阻碍汞滴的结合。
西班牙专利9000643公开了一种通过用氨或氢氧化钠洗涤处理烟灰的方法。然而如该专利说明书中所述,这种处理仍然不能用于处理含氯化亚汞的烟灰。
同样已知的是,由含氯化亚汞的烟灰电解制取金属汞。本发明与这一现有技术的区别在于,本发明所包含的方法与电解法并没有共同之处。
现在,已找到了一种为制取金属汞处理含元素汞和氯化亚汞烟灰的方法,得到了很好的结果。
特别是,本发明提供了一种由含氯化亚汞产物中制取金属汞的方法,并包括在有能还原Hg2+到Hg0并形成汞齐的金属存在下用含有高浓度热氯化物离子的微酸性溶液处理含氯化亚汞的产物,以使能回收氯化亚汞中所含的全部汞。
按照本发明,通过用微酸性,浓和热的氯化物溶液按如下反应处理,氯化亚汞发生分解:

该反应缓慢,但如有能还原Hg2+到Hg0,例如锌这样一种金属,则发生如下反应:
    [2]该反应使反应[1]向右移动并可使Hg2Cl2完全转变成Hg0
此处应有过量金属锌,元素汞与锌形成汞齐,以有利于汞滴的结合并促进其回收。
从而,本发明的处理非常适于处理迄今难于使用已知的现有技术方法处理的,含有金属汞的“烟灰”和形成乳液的氯化亚汞。
利用本文所公开并要求保护的方法,可以从氯化亚汞中回收汞,并且所形成的汞齐浸润以乳液状在“烟灰”中存在的金属汞滴,将其汇集在所述汞齐中。从而从浮液中回收金属汞和为氯化亚汞形式的汞。
由该方法得到的汞可通过用含氯化物离子的酸溶液处理而提纯。该氯化物的浓度设定在1摩尔浓度和饱和点之间,较佳为2摩尔浓度。
可使用任何水溶性氯化物以承载Cl-离子,但由于财政原因,最合适的为氯化钠和氯化铵,两者都适于分解氯亚化汞和提纯所回收的汞。上述的操作温度必须在80和100℃之间。所回收的汞可通过用pH为1和1.5之间的1摩尔浓度Cl-离子溶液洗涤来提纯。
现在用如下实施例来说明本发明的方法,该实施例必须视作为简要地说明而决不是对所附权利要求中所述本发明的范围的限制。实施例
用1升100g/l NH4Cl溶液处理100g Hg2Cl2,然后向其中加入足量H2SO4以达到pH4。然后加入30g粒状的锌,并在搅拌下在90℃温度下保持7小时。形成重量为96g并含84.9g汞的汞齐。

Claims (6)

1.由含氯化亚汞产物中得到金属汞的方法,其特征在于该方法包括在有能将Hg2+还原到Hg0并形成汞齐的金属锌存在下,于温度80和100℃之间用微酸性的氯化物水溶液处理所述产物,以使回收金属状态的汞。
2.权利要求1的方法,其特征在于氯化物的浓度设定在1摩尔浓度和饱和点之间。
3.权利要求2的方法,其特征在于氯化物的浓度设定在2摩尔浓度。
4.权利要求1的方法,其特征在于用于提供Cl-离子的盐为水溶性盐。
5.权利要求4的方法,其特征在于用于提供Cl-离子的盐为氯化钠和氯化铵。
6.权利要求1、2、3、4 或5的方法,其特征在于所得的汞可通过用pH为1和1.5之间的1摩尔浓度Cl-离子溶液洗涤来提纯。
