相关申请的描述
洗衣机和洗碗机通常安装有用于加热清洗液的电阻加热装置。此类家用电器通常安装有压力开关以测量清洗浴液的液位。家用清洗电器通常安装有加热装置,加热装置具有浸入清洗浴液的线圈电阻器。温度传感器也被提供以测量浴液的温度,并且一旦浴液到达预定的工作温度,就切断对加热电阻器的供电。
如果测量液位的压力开关失效,清洗浴液可能不覆盖加热电阻器。在这种情况下,电阻器能够迅速达到能够损害加热装置的高温。为了克服这个缺点,已经提议将温度传感器并入加热装置,以便在温度过度增加的情况下,就切断对加热装置的供电。然而,温度传感器不能够避免由加热电阻器的过度加热而产生的损害。

在图1和图2中,参考标号10表示用于家用清洗电器例如洗衣机或洗碗机的电阻加热装置。
加热装置10包括具有线圈电阻器14的基部12。线圈加热器14的各端附着于基部12,并且电气地连接至两个端子16,端子16在与线圈电阻器14相反的一侧从基部12突出。
加热装置10包括在基部12上的光学传感器18。光学传感器18能够确定在加热装置10周围的液位。

工作时,光发射器34发射光通量L,如图3所示,光通量L在主体22的壁中传播。光通量的第一部分L’穿过锥形闭合端26的倾斜壁而分散在明亮主体22的外部。光通量的第二部分L”在主体22内部被反射并到达光接收器36。光通量的分散在主体22外部的的部分L’取决于用于主体22的材料和围绕主体22的材料之间的光折射系数的比率。分散的光通量L’的量根据端26是由空气围绕还是由清洗液围绕而变化。分散的光通量L’的量还取决于在主体22周围的清洗液的液位。光接收器36接收反射的通量L”,并且提供表示反射的通量L”的强度的电信号。因为通量L”的强度根据在端26周围的液位而改变,传感器18因此能够提供关于在线圈电阻器14周围的清洗液位的精确信息。由液位传感器18提供的信息帮助避免在压力开关错误测量液位的情况下由过度加热而对加热装置10产生的损害。通过用温度传感器46,传感器18还提供清洗液的温度测量,用于在到达预定温度时切断对加热装置10的供电。

Claims (7)
