Abstract
本发明涉及一种生产用于便携式数据载体的多层卡体的方法,具有以下步骤:制备两个由合成纸制成的层(2,4);制备由塑料制成的至少一个表面层(6,8);以丝网印刷或平版印刷工艺将图形设计(12,22)印刷在由合成纸制成的层(2,4)的顶侧(104);组合层(2,4,6,8)以形成半成品(10);在通常为芯片卡的条件下将所述层层压在一起(110);以及借助分离工具从半成品分离卡体(120)。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及制造用于便携式数据载体的、基于合成纸的卡体。具体地说,本发明涉及制造用于信用卡或芯片卡形式的便携式数据载体的卡体。
背景技术
信用卡形式的卡形便携式数据载体是普遍的。它们尤其用作支付卡或身份证,或者用作较小形式的认证卡或存储卡。大部分卡片配备有磁条和/或微处理器以及用于读取装置的数据界面,读取装置使得可在卡的帮助下实施数据处理任务。其中,微处理器IC经由十分小的整体尺寸设计成特别防篡改的,但是与例如用于PC的普通标准微处理器相比,具有十分受限的计算能力,因此它们具有受限的资源。提及类型的卡片通常不具有或顶多具有减少的带少量元件的用户界面,例如,单行显示屏和/或少量键和/或捕获生物特征的传感器形式的用户界面。制造上面提及类型的卡片例如从W.Rankl,W.Effing于2008年在Karl Hanser Verlag Munich出版的第五版“Handbuch der Chipkarten”[“Hand book of chip cards”]或者T.tarantino,Y.Haghiri于1999年在Karl Hanser Verlag Munich出版的书“Vom Plastik zurChipkarte”中同样是足够熟知的。通过普通制造方法,由此,卡片由通过层压而相互连接的多个层构成。所述层通常由塑料组成。常见的塑料尤其是PVC、聚碳酸脂或基于聚酯的塑料。还已知利用纸来制造卡片。
在已知材料的情况下,卡片可制造用于许多需求。然而,主要期望连续增加可能卡片构造的范围(spectrum),以相应地增加可满足需求的范围。
从EP 945244A1中已知一种制造合成纸的方法,其是特别环境友好的。基于重量,所制造的合成纸由56%至80%的无机砂砾(尤其为碳酸钙)构成,并且基于重量,包含18%至43%的聚乙烯(尤其为高密度聚乙烯)含量。
从US 4,879,153A中已知一种由多个层压层构造成的IC卡,其具有由多个刚性PVC层构成的核心结构,刚性PVC层具有空腔,IC模块放置在空腔中。为了提高卡片的弯曲强度,合成纸的层还形成在核心结构的一侧或两侧。其总厚度优选地等于总卡片厚度的高达三分之一。合成纸的层的至少一个布置成其抵靠IC模块的下侧。已知方案局限于利用合成纸的弯曲弹性属性。由于所提及的卡片构成PVC的更大部分,所以从今天的角度来看,关于其环境兼容性,要相当批判地进行评估。
发明内容
本发明之目的是说明具有环境友好属性的卡片,其以环境友好的方式制成。
该目的通过具有独立权利要求的特征的方法来实现。根据本发明的方法的特征在于,所制造的卡体中的塑料含量降低,在制造普通纸时涉及的环境损害(比如相当多的水消耗)得以避免。制造的卡片具有新颖的感觉和外观,并可与其它卡片构造区分开。特别地,卡体可易于满足ISO 7810设定的规格,并有利地适于芯片卡。根据本发明的方法基本上基于这样的意想不到的发现,其中,可使用具有十分类似的工艺条件的合成纸,如制造多层塑料卡体所已知的。因此,该方法可由普通工厂来实施。在优选实施例中,塑料、优选PVC的覆盖层施加到卡体核心的至少一个外侧。

具体实施方式
对于下列描述,举例来说,假定卡体制造用于芯片卡形式的便携式数据载体,该数据载体具有根据ISO标准7810的常规外尺寸。然而,该方法还可以相同方式用于制造具有其它尺寸的便携式数据载体。例如,还可以相同方式制造SIM卡形式的便携式数据载体或者例如与壳体一起充当USB棒的便携式数据载体。
图1的流程图示出该方法。其以提供两个合成纸层2、4的步骤100开始,合成纸层具有50至400μm的厚度,在附图中表示为合成纸层I和II。合成纸是例如由西班牙的EMANAGREEN公司提供的商业上可获得的工业材料。其通常包含含量为75至80重量%的矿物粉(尤其为碳酸盐)以及含量为20至25重量%的合成树脂(例如高密度聚乙烯(HDPE))。成分的比例可以稍微变化,但是应当达到3:1的比例。少量其它物质可以添加到合成纸。有利地,提供片状形式或网状的合成纸。两个合成纸层2、4随后形成要制造的数据载体1的核心结构10,如图2所示。
在有利实施例中,在步骤102,还提供至少一个覆盖层6、8,其可由例如PVC构成。覆盖层6、8优选地由生物可降解塑料构成,但是还可以简单方式由另一常见塑料构成,比如PVC。其具有100至600μm的厚度。当使用PVC或另一较差的生物可降低塑料时,覆盖层6、8的厚度应当不超过100μm的值。有利地,覆盖层6、8是透明的。
在一个变型例中,如图2所示,可提供两个覆盖层6、8,其可由不同材料构成,并具有不同的不透明性。例如,一个覆盖层6可由PVC构成,并且是透明的;而另一覆盖层8由PETG构成,并且是半透明的。可提供覆盖层6、8作为箔片,它们与其它层2、4层压在一起。或者,它们还可例如通过合适的印刷方法以漆层的方式施加。如果完成的数据载体1要具有磁条,则覆盖层6、8之一有利地配备有磁条。覆盖层6、8是可选的。也可以省略它们。
在步骤104,图形图案12、22分别通过丝网印刷或平版印刷工艺(offset printing process)或者借助数字印刷而施加到合成纸层2、4的一侧。图形图案12、22可包括平面区域、结构和/或文字数字式字符。图形图案12、22可具有不同构造。印刷步骤可以用用于印刷芯片卡和信用卡的常规印刷参数和印刷油墨来执行。
在步骤106,将支持随后层压的粘合剂薄膜分别施加到层2、4的另一侧,有利地两侧。粘合剂9优选地以粘合剂漆形式提供。在其余说明中,假设是该形式。粘合剂漆9的施加例如通过丝网印刷来实现,粘合剂漆层的厚度低于5μm。在没有粘合剂漆9的情况下,两个层2、4不会充分有力地彼此粘合。合适的粘合剂漆9可例如从西班牙E-08030巴塞罗那的Polynorma SA公司获得,标号为“Barniz Inter HV X3”。
在随后步骤108中,合成纸层2、4和覆盖层6、8以夹层布置一个放置在另一个上方,使得位于覆盖层6、8和层2、4的印刷有粘合剂漆9的一侧之间的合成纸层2、4彼此抵靠。当仅存在一个覆盖层时,合成纸层以相同方式放置在覆盖层下方。
在该布置中,在下一步骤110中,将层2、4、6、8层压为半成品。层压通过用于制造芯片卡和信用卡的常规层压方法来完成。该方法包括例如两个加热步骤和两个冷却步骤。加热步骤在130至180℃的温度处实现。第一加热步骤中的压力在1至5分钟的加热时间下达到例如10至20巴,并且在第二加热步骤中,在10至20分钟的反应时间下达到60至100巴。冷却步骤在环境温度下实现,并且具有60至160巴的压力。冷却时间在第一步骤中介于1和10分钟之间,在第二步骤中介于5和20分钟。
在执行了步骤110之后,获得平面多层半成品,其至少具有由两个合成纸层2、4形成、分别在外侧承载图形图案12、22的核心结构10。此外,核心结构10的一侧或两侧还可由透明或半透明的覆盖层6、8覆盖。半成品的表面14、24相当于完成的便携式数据载体1的最终表面14、24,除了随后的个性化和/或IC的结合。
在下一步骤120中,将具有用于数据载体1的最终外部形式的卡体与平面半成品分离。该分离有利地通过冲压来完成,但是还可通过切割或碾磨来完成。
在随后步骤130中,可通过常规热压印方法将热压印元件施加到卡体。
如果要制造的便携式数据载体是芯片卡,则相继实施步骤140、142,以在卡体中形成空腔,并将芯片模块插入所生产的空腔中。然而,如果要制造的便携式数据载体例如仅仅是磁条卡或仅仅是无微处理器IC或磁条的身份证,则省略步骤140、142。
之后,最后在步骤150中对呈现的卡体个性化。这例如通过热转印工艺和/或开槽施加个人数据来完成;同样可以使用其它本身已知的个性化方法。
图2示出穿过具有根据本方法制造的卡体的数据载体1的横截面。单独层和元件的厚度未按比例绘制。数据载体1由核心结构10构成,核心结构10又由两个合成纸层2、4构成。核心结构10在两个向外侧具有图形图案12、22。在图形图案12、22上,分别在两侧施加透明覆盖层6、8。在上部合成纸层2中,形成有空腔16,IC模块20布置在空腔中。IC模块20借助粘合剂18固定在空腔16的底部和/或其它合适支撑位置,例如形成在空腔16的宽区域和较窄区域之间的模块肩部上,如图2所示。
在不超出根据本发明的基本理念的情况下,上述方法允许许多变型例和实施例。特别地,可仅使用一个这样的层,代替两个合成纸层2、4。同样地,可使用三个或更多个合成纸层。在覆盖层6、8上,还可分别施加其它层。分离步骤还可以不同分离技术来实现,例如通过额外施加激光或通过预冲压边缘轮廓。粘合剂9还可进一步以不同形式的粘合剂漆来提供。
Claims (15)
1.一种制造用于便携式数据载体的多层卡体的方法,包括以下步骤:
-提供第一合成纸层和第二合成纸层(2,4)(100),
-将图形图案(12,22)分别施加到所述合成纸层的一侧(104),
-将粘合剂漆(9)施加到所述合成纸层(2,4)之一的至少一侧(104),
-集合相应一侧印刷的合成纸层(2,4)(102),使得具有图形图案(12,22)的上侧向外指向,并且涂覆有粘合剂漆(9)的一侧彼此抵靠,使得粘合剂漆(9)位于合成纸层(2,4)之间,
-在120℃至180℃、优选在140℃至160℃的温度下以及在60巴至100巴、优选在75巴至95巴的压力下层压被集合的层(2,4)成为半成品(110),所述半成品具有由两个合成纸层(2,4)形成并相应地在外侧承载图形图案(12,22)的核心结构(10),
-借助分离工具使卡体(1)从半成品分离。
2.如上述权利要求任一项所述的方法,其特征在于,一空腔(16)形成在卡体(1)中,IC模块(20)布置在空腔(16)中,所述空腔(16)穿过所述核心结构(10)的至少一个合成纸层(2,4)。
3.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述合成纸基于碳酸钙,高密度聚乙烯(HDPE)添加到碳酸钙,基于重量的比例达到至少3:1。
4.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,合成纸层(2,4)具有80μm至400μm的厚度。
5.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述粘合剂漆(9)施加成具有不超过5μm的厚度。
6.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,通过丝网印刷或平版印刷工艺施加所述图形图案(12,22)。
7.如上述权利要求任一项所述的方法,其特征在于,所述分离通过冲压实现。
8.如上述权利要求任一项所述的方法,其特征在于,至少一个覆盖层(6,8)额外地布置在被集合的合成纸层(2,4)上,并同样被层压。
9.如上述权利要求任一项所述的方法,其特征在于,所述覆盖层(6,8)是PVC箔片。
10.如上述权利要求任一项所述的方法,其特征在于,所述卡体(1)被热压印。
11.一种便携式数据载体,具有在至少一个上侧承载图形图案(12,22)的多层卡体,其特征在于,所述卡体(1)具有由至少两个合成纸层(2,4)形成的核心结构(10),两个合成纸层(2,4)彼此抵靠,中间仅插入粘合剂漆(9)。
12.如权利要求11所述的便携式数据载体,其特征在于,所述合成纸层(2,4)具有80μm至400μm的厚度,并且所述粘合剂漆(9)的厚度小于5μm。
13.如权利要求11所述的便携式数据载体,其特征在于,所述卡体(1)具有空腔(16),IC模块(20)布置在所述空腔(16)中,所述空腔(16)延伸进所述合成纸层(2,4)中的至少一个。
14.如权利要求11所述的便携式数据载体,其特征在于,所述核心结构(10)在一侧或两侧由透明或半透明覆盖层(6,8)覆盖。
15.如权利要求11所述的便携式数据载体,其特征在于,所述合成纸基于碳酸钙,高密度聚乙烯(HDPE)添加到碳酸钙,基于重量的比例达到至少3:1。
