Abstract

本发明涉及一种能够实现省电、省空间、低成本的具备转向指示灯和雾灯的车辆用前照灯(10),其具备以半导体发光元件(LA、LB、LC)为光源的灯具单元(A、B、C);和在雾灯点亮时和转向指示灯点亮时点亮不同的灯具单元组合,以形成各点亮状态的配光图案的控制部,其中,至少一个灯具单元在雾灯点亮时和转向指示灯点亮时均点亮。

技术领域
本发明涉及具有3个以上以半导体发光元件为光源的灯具单元的车辆用前照灯。
背景技术
已知有一种具备多个分别具有各自固有的配光特性的灯具单元的多灯式车辆用前照灯。例如专利文献1中就记载了具备3个反射单元的车辆用转向指示灯,其在十字路口左转时依次点亮3个反射单元。

发明内容
发明要解决的课题
在车辆的前部,除上述转向指示灯之外,还设置有雾灯。在该情况下,如果独立于转向指示灯用灯具单元另行设置雾灯用灯具单元,将导致车辆前部的空间不足并增加成本。
本发明就是鉴于上述课题而做出,其目的在于提供一种能够使具有转向指示灯和雾灯的车辆用前照灯实现省电、省空间、低成本的技术。
解决课题的手段
本发明的一个实施方式涉及一种车辆用前照灯,其具有3个以上以半导体发光元件为光源的灯具单元,并具有控制部,该控制部在雾灯点亮时和转向指示灯点亮时点亮不同的灯具单元组合,以形成各点亮状态的配光图案。至少一个灯具单元在雾灯点亮时和转向指示灯点亮时均点亮。
根据该实施方式,由于至少一个灯具单元在雾灯点亮时和转向指示灯点亮时均点亮,形成各点亮状态的配光图案的一部分,由此与分别设置雾灯和转向指示灯两者的情况相比,能够削减半导体发光元件的灯具数,实现省电化、省空间化和低成本化。
在本发明的车辆用前照灯中,包括:形成雾灯用配光图案的正面方向热图(hot pattern)的第一灯具单元;形成雾灯用配光图案的扩散部和转向指示灯用配光图案的一部分的第二灯具单元;和形成转向指示灯用配光图案的主光轴和大扩散部的第三灯具单元,其中,第二灯具单元在雾灯点亮状态时和转向指示灯点亮状态时均点亮。由此,能够将第二灯具单元兼用于雾灯和转向指示灯。
发明的效果
根据本发明,能够实现具有转向指示灯和雾灯的车辆用前照灯的省电、省空间和低成本。

具体实施方式
图1是本发明一个实施方式的车辆用前照灯10的正视图。由于车辆用前照灯10在车辆的车宽方向的左右各配有1个车灯,其结构实质上呈左右对称,因此下文中以配置在车辆右侧的车辆用前照灯10为代表例进行说明。
车辆用前照灯10分别具有例如以LED(Light Emitting Diode:发光二极管)半导体发光元件LA、LB、LC为光源的3个灯具单元A、B、C。这些灯具单元收容于一个圆形的灯体11内。灯具单元的正面侧由单一外罩覆盖。在图1中,在灯体11的上部配置有第一灯具单元A,在从框体的中心至下方的范围内配置有第二灯具单元B和第三灯具单元C,但本发明也可以是除此以外的配置。
图2是以包含光轴的垂直面剖切第二灯具单元B时的简要剖视图。第二灯具单元B具有灯室18,灯室18由在车辆前方侧(图2的左侧)设有开口部的灯体(未图示)和覆盖灯体的开口部的透明树脂制外罩16形成。反射镜14呈以抛物面为基调的自由曲面通过该反射镜的焦点的曲面剖切而成的形状。发光元件LB位于反射镜14的抛物面的焦点或配置在该焦点附近。发光元件LB和反射镜14固定于支承部件12。从发光元件LB发出的光由反射镜14的反射面反射,穿过外罩16后,以大致平行的光线向车辆前方投射。
控制部20由例如控制电路或微控制器构成,控制3个灯具单元A~C的发光元件LA~LC的点亮和熄灭。
车辆用前照灯10能够发挥转向指示灯和雾灯两者的功能。控制部20根据来自驾驶员或车辆控制装置(未图示)的指示,在雾灯点亮状态时和转向指示灯点亮状态时点亮不同组合的灯具单元,形成各点亮状态各自的配光图案。
需要说明的是,尽管省略了第一灯具单元A、第三灯具单元C的详细说明,但它们具有与第二灯具单元B基本相同的结构。也可以是3个灯具单元中的一部分或全部均采用具有以旋转椭圆面为基调的反射面的投影型灯具单元。
在本实施方式中,第一灯具单元A的反射镜以形成转向指示灯用配光图案的扩散部(大扩散部,参照图4的PA)的方式设计。第二灯具单元B的反射镜以形成雾灯用配光图案的扩散部(参照图3的PB)、以及转向指示灯用配光图案的一部分(参照图4的PB)的方式设计。第三灯具单元C的反射镜以形成雾灯用配光图案的正面方向的热图(参照图3的PC)的方式设计。转向指示灯用配光图案的扩散部(参照图4的PA)以比雾灯用配光图案的扩散部(参照图3的PB)更靠侧方的方式扩散。另外,转向指示灯用配光图案的扩散部包括转向指示灯用配光图案的主光轴区。
图3为车辆用前照灯10用作雾灯时形成的雾灯用配光图案的一例。在该情况下,控制部20点亮第二灯具单元B的发光元件LB和第三灯具单元C的发光元件LC。由此能够得到由其它灯具单元形成的近光用配光图案PLO的水平线附近的亮度得到增强的配光图案。
图4为车辆用前照灯10用作转向指示灯时形成的转向指示灯用配光图案的一例。在该情况下,控制部20点亮第一灯具单元A的发光元件LA和第二灯具单元B的发光元件LB。由此能够得到满足照射以车辆中心向左右偏转45°为中心的±15°的范围内的转向指示灯的规范的配光图案。
如上所述,根据本实施方式,在具有3个灯具单元的车辆用前照灯中,第二灯具单元B在雾灯点亮状态时和转向指示灯点亮状态时均点亮。这样,通过设置兼用于雾灯和转向指示灯的灯具单元,与分别设置雾灯和转向指示灯两者的情况相比,能够削减半导体发光元件的灯具数,实现省电化、省空间化和低成本化。
本发明并不限于上述实施方式,可将各实施方式组合,或者也可根据本领域技术人员的知识增加各种设计变更等变形,这样的组合或增加了变形的实施方式也包含在本发明的范围内。上述各实施方式彼此组合以及上述各实施方式与下述变形例的组合而产生的新实施方式,兼具所组合的实施方式和变形例各自的效果。
灯具单元的组合不限于上述组合,灯具单元的数量也可以是4个以上,组合的灯具单元的数量可以是3个以上,也可以是雾灯和转向指示灯中的某一个使用单独的灯具单元。例如也可以在单个灯体内配置5个灯具单元,组合其中的3个灯具单元形成雾灯用配光图案,其它组合的3个灯具单元形成转向指示灯用配光图案。

Claims (2)

1.一种车辆用前照灯,所述车辆用前照灯具有3个以上以半导体发光元件为光源的灯具单元,其特征在于,
具有控制部,所述控制部在雾灯点亮时和转向指示灯点亮时点亮不同的灯具单元组合,以形成各点亮状态的配光图案,
至少一个灯具单元在雾灯点亮时和转向指示灯点亮时均点亮。
2.如权利要求1所述的车辆用前照灯,其特征在于,包括:
形成转向指示灯用配光图案的扩散部的第一灯具单元;
形成雾灯用配光图案的扩散部和转向指示灯用配光图案的一部分的第二灯具单元;和
形成雾灯用配光图案的正面方向热图的第三灯具单元,其中,
所述转向指示灯用配光图案的扩散部以比所述雾灯用配光图案的扩散部更靠侧方的方式扩散,
所述第二灯具单元在雾灯点亮状态时和转向指示灯点亮状态时均点亮。
