Abstract

一种电插座接头,包括导线连接部、长方形主体部(6)和一对悬臂梁触头(30)。当在悬臂梁之间插入公接头而穿过第一突起(34)时把两悬臂梁弹性撑开,然后插入到第二接触突块(38)之间时进一步弹性撑开悬臂梁。最后在接触突块(38)与公接头之间形成电接触,由于杠杆臂短且是点接触,因此接触压力大,导电性良好。此外,可在接头主体部做出切口(22,24,26)使悬臂梁更柔软进一步减小插入力,从而使同一插接件用于各种场合。

Description

小插入力插座接头
本发明涉及电插座接头,它与互配公接头相配时,能提供大的接触力,但却形成小的插入力。
在电工业中,提供电流承载能力大但成本低且与公接头连接时插入力小的电接头的要求日益增多。决定着电接头电流承载能力的重大因素之一是两相配接头间的接触电阻。而接触电阻在很大程度上又取决于是否存在会增大该电阻的金属氧化层或脏物以及接触压力。为了提供工作可靠且电流承载能力大的小接头,该接头须制作简单便宜、接触压力大、具有刮除两触头间氧化层的手段,但却在两相配接头配合时插入力小。
因此本发明的一个目的是提供成本低、电流承载能力大且工作可靠的小巧电插座接头。
本发明的另一个目的是提供上述接头,它无需在设计和制作上作出很大改动就能方便地改变插入力,但却维持原有尺寸,以便能装入原有插接件壳体中。
本发明的目的是这样实现的,即提供一种用金属板冲制而成的电插座接头,包括具有顶壁、底壁和两侧壁的长方形的主体部,一对沿轴向伸出在该主体部相对两侧壁上的单个的弹性悬臂梁,每根悬臂梁在其互配公触头插入端处有第一突起,两第一突起之间的间距小于沿轴向插入其间的互配公触头的厚度,从而使得两悬臂梁在开始把公触头插入其间时被弹性地撑开,每根悬臂梁在沿轴向向着主体部离开第一突起一定距离处有第二接触突块,在所述的公触头插入第一突起之间时,该两接触突块之间的间距小于公触头的厚度,因此当公触头沿轴向完全插入其间时,悬臂梁被进一步弹性撑开而基本由第二接触突块实现悬臂梁与公触头之间的电接触。
根据本发明,当与公触头相配时,第一步,两悬臂梁因公触头插入在两第一突起之间而弹性张开,第二步,两悬臂梁因公触头进一步插入在两第二接触突块之间而张得更开。由于第二接触突块位于第一突起后部,它的杠杆臂短,因此悬臂梁在该处对公触头施加的弹性压力要比在第一突起处大。为了减小公触头通过第二接触突块时的插入力,第二接触突块可沿轴向做成椭圆形,使接触点从远离接头主体部的位置向接近接头主体部的位置逐渐移动,从而逐渐改变触点的杠杆臂长度。本发明的进一步改进是在接头主体部的顶壁和底壁上做出长方形切口,从而无需改变接头的外部尺寸就能改变悬臂梁的弹力并因而改变插入力。这又使插接件在不增加很多成本的情况下以最佳插入力应用于各种场合。
下面结合附图详细说明本发明的优选实施例,附图中:

请参看图1到图5,总的来说图2所示的电插座接头包括与中间主体部6连接的导线连接部4,与插销式或舌片式互配公接头(未画出)相配的接触部7伸出在主体部6上。主体部6为包括一对相对的侧壁8、底壁10和顶壁12的长方形体,顶壁12由接缝14分为两半,该接缝形成用来冲制接头2的金属板的接缝。主体部6还包括一对从侧壁8上冲制出的弹性锁片16。侧壁8上有切口18,该切口18部分地是由于在侧壁8上冲制锁片16而构成的。顶壁12包括位于两侧壁8之间的中间位置上且沿轴向伸展的第一长方形切口22。底壁和顶壁还分别包括位于切口22的轴向前方并伸展到主体部6的前缘28的切口24、26。接触部7包括一对与侧壁8连成一体、从主体部前缘28延伸到互配接头插入端32的悬臂梁30。
该弹性悬臂梁30在最前端处包括以小于插销式或舌片式互配公接头厚度的距离相间距的一对弧形突起34,该弧形突起34向前延伸到用来引导互配公接头插入的向外张开的引导部36。悬臂梁30在第一突起34的轴向后方还包括椭圆形的第二接触突块38,其长轴在轴向上,此突块38在金属板上浮花制成。如图5中虚线40所示,突块38在与接头轴线垂直方向上的横截面轮廓为弧形。
在主体部6最后端有从侧壁8上向上突起的定位凸片42,当接头装在电插接体壳体(未画出)的空腔内时用来正确定位并稳定该接头。
下面解释插座接头2与插销式或舌片式公接头(未画出)的连接。连接时,公接头沿轴向放置在两悬臂梁30之间,刚插入时受向外张开的引导部36的引导,然后在穿过第一突起34时把梁30撑开。在突起34最初“爬”过公接头顶端而撑开梁30时插入力最大。
然后进一步插入公接头直到它接触到第二接触突块38,由于梁从主体部6的前端28到最前端的插入端32逐渐向外弯曲,因此两突块相距小于舌片厚度的距离。因此第二接触突块38相对轴线方向倾斜。公舌片起先与接触突块38的最前端44接触,然后慢慢越过接触突块38的最里边边界46而逐渐地进一步撑开悬臂梁30,舌片一旦越过突块38而全部插入,就在最后端48发生接触。由于突块38的倾斜及其圆弧形轮廓40,因此与公舌片的接触为“点”接触,从而得到很大的接触压力,再加上插入时清除脏物或氧化层的刮除作用,从而获得良好的电接触。
本发明上述优选实施例的插入力小,但接触压力大,这是因为,悬臂梁30起初在杠杆臂很长的最前端处被撑开,因此所需的力小,而接触发生在更接近梁30的支撑结构的第二接触突块38处,因此杠杆臂短而能在公触头上施加更大弹力。为进一步减小插入力,第二接触突块38在轴向上做成椭圆形,使得公舌片在从突块的最前端44突行到最终接触处的最后端48的过程中逐渐撑开悬壁梁30,因此接触点的杠杆臂长度逐渐减小。当公触头完全插入时,第二突块的触点48发生完全或几乎是完全的接触,此时第一接触突起34与公舌片相间距。
由于第一突起34横跨在悬臂梁的宽度上,它们在公接头与第二接触突块发生接触之前起到了初步刮除作用。
尽管为获得良好导电性希望接触压力尽可能大,但这也意味着插入力相应增大。为了进一步减小插入力,在对于指定电流确保足够导电率的条件下可把接触压力降至最佳值。根据应用情况的不同,电流显然并不总是相同的,因此在许多情况下可减小接触压力,从而减小插入力。在底壁和顶壁上做出切口22、、24、26;在侧壁8上做出切口18;而无需改变接头材料或重新设计接头即能做到这一点。这些切口减小了悬臂梁30支撑结构的刚性,使梁30变得更柔软。只须改变切口18、22、24、26的长度和宽度,即能把悬臂梁30的弹性降至足以确保通过指定电流、但插入力又最小的最佳值。这里的优点是可保持接头的外部尺寸不变,这就意味着,可以为应用于不同场合的插接件生产同样的插接件壳体和公接头  同时只需通过冲出不同大小的切口来改变插座接头,而这只须对冲制工具和程序稍作改动即可。
因此上述发明的优点在于由于点接触、有效的刮除作用和强弹力而获得了很高的接触压力;同时通过具有很长杠杆臂的第一突起34先把接触梁撑开而使互配公接头的插入力减小。通过提供与公接头逐渐啮合的椭圆形接触突块又使插入力进一步减小。为了生产可应用于种种不同场合、但插入力小的接头,可在接头主体部做出切口而使接触梁变得更柔软,从而生产出具有最小插入力的最低成本插接件。

Claims (9)

1.一种用金属板冲制而成的电插座接头,包括具有顶壁(12)、底壁(10)和两侧壁(8)的长方形的主体部,一对沿轴向伸出在该主体部相对两侧壁(8)上的单个的弹性悬臂梁(30),每根悬臂梁在其互配公触头插入端处有第一突起(34),两第一突起之间的间距小于沿轴向插入其间的互配公触头的厚度,从而使得两悬臂梁在开始把公触头插入其间时被弹性地撑开,其特征在于,每根悬臂梁(30)在沿轴向向着主体部离开第一突起一定距离处有第二接触突块(38),在所述的公触头插入第一突起之间时,该两接触突块之间的间距小于公触头的厚度,因此当公触头沿轴向完全插入其间时,悬臂梁被进一步弹性撑开而基本由第二接触突块实现悬臂梁与公触头之间的电接触。
2.按权利要求1所述的接头,其特征在于,所述的第一突起(34)包括弧形接触部,该接触部延伸至向外张开的引导部(36),它的最前端处为在公触头开始插入时用来引导该公触头的公触头插入端(32)。
3.按权利要求2所述的接头,其特征在于,所述的弧形接触部在悬臂梁(30)的整个宽度上延伸。
4.按权利要求1、2或3所述的接头,其特征在于,所述的第二接触突块用浮花法制成。
5.按权利要求1、2或3所述的接头,其特征在于,所述的第二接触突块为椭圆形,其长轴处于轴向上。
6.按权利要求1、2或3所述的接头,其特征在于,所述的第二接触突块具有圆弧形轮廓(40),它使与公触头之间的接触区域限定为一点。
7.按权利要求1、2或3所述的接头,其特征在于,所述的主体部(6)的顶壁(12)和底壁(10)在两侧壁之间的中间位置上具有沿轴向延伸的长方形切口(22,24,26),从而改变切口长和宽即可改变悬臂梁的弹力。
8.按权利要求7所述的接头,其特征在于,至少一个所述的切口(24,26)从顶壁或底壁的前缘(28)向后延伸。
9.按权利要求1、2或3所述的接头,其特征在于,所述的侧壁(8)具有因冲制弹性锁片(16)而构成的切口(18)。
