Abstract

Description
技术领域
这里公开的实施方式涉及适用于内燃机及燃油炉和燃气炉(例如锅炉)的燃料调节模块及方法。在特别优选的实施方式中,提供的燃料调节模块及方法大体上易于安装且无需维护,被构造以使燃料更完全地燃烧进而大大减少污染物排放,使工作引擎和燃烧炉可更清洁(进而只需更少的引擎和燃烧炉维护),且可显著增加引擎和燃烧炉燃料效率。
背景技术
内燃机和燃烧炉中固有的原始低效率可谓是记载颇多。特别地,利用矿物燃料的内燃机和燃烧炉通常从废气中排出未燃烧燃料或欠烧料,还排出燃烧的不合需的副产品。欠烧料造成了严重环境问题,比如合成污染物被直接地排放到停留在地面和渗入地下水位的大气中,其中一些合成污染物还被认为是致癌的。
除了通过废气被直接地排放到大气中以外,燃料燃烧的许多副产品简单地在内部引擎部件中累积,常常有30%的废气被导入引擎。这使得这些引擎部件更快损耗,且需要频繁地维护和维修,进而导致缩短总的引擎使用寿命。另外,引擎内的燃料的不完全燃烧大体上不能充分利用燃料的能源容量。特别地,除了归因于燃料的能源容量利用不足造成的污染物产生的环境影响以外,还存在更多燃料、维护费用及通常更短的引擎使用寿命造成的经济效率上的合成损失。
因此,非常需要提高燃料的燃烧效率。本发明致力于满足此需求。
发明内容
本发明提供了燃料调节模块以便在燃烧之前调节可燃燃料。根据优选的实施方式,燃料调节模块包括外壳,外壳具有入口端和出口端并在其间界定燃料的流通通道。燃料调节插入组件被置于由外壳界定的流通通道中,这样在外壳的入口端和出口端之间的通道中流动的燃料与燃料调节组件接触。
燃料调节插入组件最优选地包括沸石催化材料,沸石催化材料由沸石微粒和固体树脂(优选地为环氧基树脂)粘合剂中的稀土金属或金属氧化物微粒的混合物组成。沸石催化材料还可被提供为在调节插入组件的上游的外壳的内表面上形成的一层。适用于沸石催化材料的优选的沸石微粒可包括微孔性的铝硅酸盐矿物,特别优选地具有选自于包括方沸石、菱沸石、斜发沸石、片沸石、钠沸石、钙十字沸石以及辉沸石的群组的至少一种沸石材料。沸石催化材料中的稀土金属或金属氧化物微粒优选地包括元素周期表的镧系元素的至少一种金属和/或金属氧化物,特别是选自于由镝、钬、镧、铈、钐、氟碳铈矿以及硅铍钇矿组成的群组的至少一种金属和/或金属氧化物。
可选地,沸石催化材料可包括至少一些由催化金属构成的金属元素。在优选的实施方式中,催化金属为选自于由铜、铝、不锈钢、钛、镁、铬、钡、钙、铂、钯、镍、铜合金以及铁组成的群组中的至少一个。
在某些优选的实施方式中,燃料调节模块包括调节插入构件,调节插入构件包括由催化金属(例如铜、铝、不锈钢、钛、镁、铬、钡、钙、铂、钯、镍、铜合金以及铁中的至少一种)构成的金属元素团。优选地,沸石催化材料的固体颗粒或大致上平坦的碎片可被分散遍及上述调节插入构件的金属元素团。
根据其它实施方式,燃料调节模块可包括入口滤网组件和出口滤网组件,入口滤网组件和出口滤网组件被置于外壳的入口端和出口端的位置处。至少一个滤网组件或每个滤网组件可由催化金属构成。
用于在燃烧之前调节燃料的一种优选的方法包括使未调节的燃料与燃料调节插入组件接触,燃料调节插入组件具有由沸石催化材料组成的催化区域从而获得经调节的燃料,且随后燃烧上述经调节的燃料。优选地,被调节的燃料包括用于内燃机或燃烧炉的液态或气态燃料,例如柴油机燃料、天然气或汽油。
在仔细考虑下文详细说明的优选的示范性实施方式之后,本发明的这些以及其他的方面和有益效果将更清楚。

具体实施方式
附图1-3描绘了根据本发明的燃料调节模块10的示范性实施方式,其被构建为与引擎的燃料系统(例如在燃料过滤器12的下游,参见图2)相连接成一线。这样,在燃料进入引擎(未画出)中燃烧之前,燃料调节模块10有效地处理和调节燃料,从而确保实现燃料燃烧的效果更好,效率更高。最优选地,液体可燃燃料,比如供给至汽油或柴油燃料内燃机或燃烧炉的天然气、柴油燃料或汽油通过模块10被调节。
燃料调节模块10优选地包括具有分别的入口连接端和出口连接端30、40的一般管状刚性外壳20。外壳20界定了构建出燃料的内部流通通道24(参见图2)的内表面22。外壳20可通过一个套住另一个的分开的管状元件来提供,或者可提供为由期望材料构成的单一元件,以便在使用中接触燃料。如果通过分开的套筒元件提供,这样外壳20的内表面22将由期望材料构成以便接触燃料。
入口连接端和出口连接端30、40最优选地分别包括端盖32、42,端盖32、42可分别与管状外壳20的入口端和出口端螺纹地连接。端盖32、42设置有机加工凹口32a、42a以容纳车削刀具(例如扳钳),从而视需要相对于外壳20组装和拆卸。入口螺纹接套和出口螺纹接套34、44可分别与端盖32、42中的每一个螺纹地结合并界定入口流道和出口流道36、46,入口流道和出口流道36、46与外壳20的流通通道24流体连通。螺纹接套32、42分别相对于端盖32、42通过锁紧螺母38、48被锁定位置。
螺纹接套34、44最优选地可通过螺纹且可移除地与引擎燃料管线(未画出)相连接成一线。这样与燃料管线的互连因此将允许模块10按需被从那里移除以便整修和/或替换,因此,入口螺纹接套34优选地通过此处的螺纹连接被连接至燃料系统的引擎燃料管线下游。这样,入口螺纹接套34通过入口通道36接收过滤燃料,入口通道36接着将燃料引导流入外壳20的通道24中,在这里,燃料如下文更详细内容所描述的被调节。被调节的燃料进而将从出口螺纹接套44的出口通道46被排出,并被传至引擎且在引擎处燃烧。因此,通过这样的方式,燃料能通过外壳20,且在外壳20中,燃料可在燃烧之前被有效地调节。
在优选的实施方式中,外壳20整体由铜构成,原因随后将描述。然而,其它材料,优选地为刚性的材料,包括金属和/或塑料材料也可被有效地利用。而且,外壳20优选地包括如图1和2所示的一般的伸长的管状结构,以便增加燃料在外壳20的流通通道24内且被调节的期望滞留时间。当然,外壳20的长度可被改变以适应需要更多或更少调节的特定情况,也可由此符合特别的引擎类型的容量和尺寸需求。例如,通过增加外壳20的长度,进而流通通道25的长度,给定燃料量的平均滞留时间增加且发生的燃料调节反应最大化。
燃料调节模块10必要地包括调节插入组件50,调节插入组件50被设置在外壳20的流通通道24中。这样,流过通道24的燃料与调节插入组件50物理接触。这样,调节插入组件50被构建为至少暂时地以化学方法调节流过流通通道24的燃料。特别地,调节插入组件50被构造并被设置以便通过催化效应重新排列燃料的分子键,且将燃料微粒分离成多个亚原子粒子。由于燃料的这种调节,燃料的密度减小,而燃料的燃烧效率大大增加。更特别地,由于燃料在流过外壳20的通道24期间通过调节插入组件50被处理,密度更小的、更分散的燃料能更完全地燃烧,因为大多数的燃料微粒发生燃烧反应,还可增加之前提供的随着被排出而消除的能量。这个反应具有双重影响,不仅增加了由燃烧产生的能量,进而增加了燃料效率,还减少了废气排放物中存在的有害颗粒,进而保持引擎或燃烧炉可更清洁且能正常工作更久,还减少了废气中存在的环境污染物。
调节插入组件50最优选地包括湍流组件(turbulence assembly),该组件被构建以便能在流通通道24内造成燃料的湍流。该湍流组件被构建以便充分地搅动流过流通通道24的燃料,由此,通过确保燃料微粒充分地分散且通过存在于流通通道24内并负责实现调节的调节元件被完全地作用,从而大大增强调节的效果。
如图2和3所示的可能为最佳的,调节插入组件50的一个优选的实施方式包括在金属线网罩54内包含的调节金属元素团52,金属线网罩54被设置在流通通道24内,且被构建成随着燃料从外壳20的入口端30流过那里流到出口端40,在燃料中造成湍流。在优选的形式中,金属元素52通常为狭窄盘绕的极长或无限长的金属带,上述金属带杂乱地互相缠绕。特别地,由于燃料被推动穿过其中且连续不断地改变路径,上述金属元素团52的缠绕、杂乱及稠密的结构实现了最佳湍流效应。
金属元素52可由能使燃料通过已描述过的方式发生催化反应的任何金属构成。优选地,金属元素52可选自一种或多种催化金属,也就是能使燃料发生催化反应的金属。通过术语“催化金属”指的是铜、铝、不锈钢、钛、镁、铬、钡、钙、铂、钯、镍、铜合金以及铁中的至少一种。在描述的优选的实施方式中,上述金属元素团52由不锈钢构成。
金属线网罩54最优选地被构建为网状结构,以便其有效地保留在其中的金属元素团52,且提供非常大的表面区域用于在燃料流过通道24时接触燃料。网罩54从而在外壳20内被导向,以便允许燃料畅通地流过其中,并流过其中包含的上述金属元素团52,而不会让任何金属元素52随着经调节过的燃料离开外壳20。网罩54可由通过之前提到的催化金属构成的金属线构成。在描述过的优选的实施方式中,网罩54由铝线构成。
在阐明的实施方式中,多个金属线圈56或就像系结物可被设置在网罩54上,以便促进燃料的调节和湍流,并且帮助保持金属元素52周围的网罩54的位置。这些金属线圈同样地可由如同之前提到的催化金属构成。优选地,金属线圈由铜线构成。
如图3所示,调节插入组件50也重要地包括沸石催化材料58。最优选地,沸石催化材料58由微粒沸石催化剂和树脂粘合剂中的微粒稀土金属或金属氧化物的混合物构成。最优选地,微粒沸石催化剂包括微孔性的铝硅酸盐矿物。特别是优选地为方沸石(anaicime)、菱沸石、斜发沸石、片沸石、钠沸石(例如Na2AL2Si3O10*2H2O)、钙十字沸石以及辉沸石。
稀土金属包括元素周期表的镧系元素的至少一种金属和/或金属氧化物。适用于沸石催化材料58的优选的稀土金属和金属氧化物包括镝、钬、镧、铈、钐、氟碳铈矿以及硅铍钇矿。
事实上任何树脂粘合剂只要相对于待调节的燃料是惰性的都可在本发明的实践中采用。优选地,树脂粘合剂是固化环氧粘合剂。微粒沸石、稀土金属和/或金属氧化物,可选地还有催化金属微粒,可以燃料调节有效量与固化环氧粘合剂混合。膏状(pastlike)混合物接着可被固化(例如通过空气干燥法)为固体,随后固体被碎裂成合适尺寸的微粒或碎片。沸石催化材料58的这些微粒或大体上平坦的碎片接着可被分散遍及整个金属元素52且包含在燃料调节插入组件50中。这样,由于燃料被使得与燃料调节插入组件50接触,其必将接触金属元素52以及其中散布的沸石催化材料58的碎片。
虽然不希望被绑定到任何特定理论,但人们认为,由于燃料穿过模块10中包含的沸石的细孔增加了燃料微粒的表面积,燃料微粒受到沸石催化材料的沸石和稀土金属和/或金属氧化物的结合的接触的影响。
这进而在催化反应中有助于像在低温裂解法中一样随着氢的释出引起饱和正构链烷烃(saturated strait-chain paraffins)与不饱和环状芳烃化合物(unsaturated ring compound aromatics)的比例的改变。饱和与不饱和碳氢化合物的新混合物受到由于在其中包含催化金属而在模块10内自然产生的轻微电磁力(电动势)的影响。上述轻微电动势进而造成燃料的一些轻微极化,并被燃料内的一些碳氢化合物分子较轻地排斥。排斥连同沸石的影响,增加燃料的表面积,生成了具有降低的燃料密度的燃料混合物。燃料处理的反应是微量氢的释出,这样得到提高的燃料燃烧效率。
这样,根据本发明通过使可燃矿物燃料与含有沸石和稀土金属和/或金属氧化物以及可选地其它催化金属的结合的沸石催化区域接触,燃料燃烧效率得到提高。沸石催化区域因此被视为随着氢的释出引起供给至模块10的燃料中的单键饱和脂肪族或链烷烃与双键不饱和环状芳烃化合物的比例的改变。结果,少量非常易燃的氢被释放到燃料中。新释出的氢加上如上所述的燃料微粒的增加的表面积因此被视为有助于造成更高效的燃烧,使得更少未燃烧的燃料作为废气被排放。
沸石催化材料58可选地可包括如上所述的一种或多种微粒催化金属。在优选的实施方式中,至少一种催化金属的粒子通过树脂粘合剂与微粒沸石和微粒稀土金属或金属氧化物混合并应用到外壳20的内表面22上,从而形成沸石催化区域58。
沸石催化材料的一层58-1也可覆盖在外壳20的内表面22上,接近入口端盖和/或出口端盖32、42以便分别一般地被设置在燃料调节插入组件50的上游和/或下游的位置处。但沸石催化材料层58-1也可在入口端盖和出口端盖32、42之间分别大致上沿外壳20的整个范围覆盖在内表面22上。
模块10也可包括与外壳20的入口和出口30、40有效地联系的入口滤网(screen)组件和出口滤网组件60、70。在这样的位置中,燃料因此在分别被引导至外壳20的流道24并从中离开时必定穿过滤网元件50、60。
虽然形成滤网组件60、70的滤网元件可由不与燃料发生催化反应而仅仅只过滤燃料的材料构成,入口滤网组件和出口滤网组件60、70中较佳地至少其中一个、优选地二者都被提供以便帮助燃料的调节。更具体地说,至少一个(优选地不只一个)形成滤网组件60、70的滤网元件由正如上面指出的与燃料发生催化反应的金属构成。优选地,一个滤网组件或每个滤网组件由铜、铝或不锈钢构成。在特别优选的实施方式中,每个滤网组件60、70由铜构成。因此,通过这样的方式,形成滤网组件60、70的滤网元件可在功能上作为调节插入组件50的一部分。
虽然本发明联系目前被视为最实用和最佳的实施方式被描述出来,应理解本发明不限于公开的实施方式,相反地,意在覆盖包含于其精神和范围内的各种修改和等同设置。
Claims (27)
1.一种用于在燃烧之前调节可燃燃料的燃料调节模块,包括:
具有入口端和出口端并在其间界定所述燃料的流通通道的外壳;以及
设置于所述流通通道中的燃料调节插入组件,以使得在所述外壳的入口端和出口端之间的所述通道中流动的燃料与所述燃料调节组件接触,其中
所述燃料调节插入组件包括含有沸石微粒和固体树脂粘结剂中的稀土金属或金属氧化物微粒的混合物的沸石催化材料。
2.根据权利要求1所述的燃料调节模块,其中所述树脂粘结剂为环氧树脂。
3.根据权利要求1所述的燃料调节模块,其中所述沸石微粒包括微孔性的铝硅酸盐矿物。
4.根据权利要求1所述的燃料调节模块,其中所述沸石微粒含有选自于包括方沸石、菱沸石、斜发沸石、片沸石、钠沸石、钙十字沸石以及辉沸石的群组的至少一种沸石材料。
5.根据权利要求1所述的燃料调节模块,其中所述稀土金属或金属氧化物微粒包括元素周期表的镧系元素的至少一种金属和/或金属氧化物。
6.根据权利要求5所述的燃料调节模块,其中所述稀土金属或金属氧化物微粒含有选自于包括镝、钬、镧、铈、钐、氟碳铈矿以及硅铍钇矿的群组的至少一种金属和/或金属氧化物。
7.根据权利要求1所述的燃料调节模块,其中所述燃料调节插入组件包括由催化金属构成的金属元素团。
8.根据权利要求7所述的燃料调节模块,其中所述金属元素团包括由铜、铝、不锈钢、钛、镁、铬、钡、钙、铂、钯、镍、铜合金以及铁中的至少一种构成的金属元素。
9.根据权利要求7所述的燃料调节模块,其中所述沸石催化材料分散在所述金属元素团中。
10.根据权利要求9所述的燃料调节模块,其中分散在所述金属元素团中的所述沸石催化材料包括沸石催化材料的碎片。
11.根据权利要求1或10所述的燃料调节模块,进一步包括一层在所述外壳的内表面上的所述沸石催化材料。
12.根据权利要求1所述的燃料调节模块,其中所述燃料调节组件包括被置于所述外壳的入口端和出口端位置处的入口滤网组件和出口滤网组件。
13.根据权利要求9所述的燃料调节模块,其中所述入口滤网组件和出口滤网组件之中至少一个由催化金属构成。
14.根据权利要求13所述的燃料调节模块,其中所述催化金属为选自于包括铜、铝、不锈钢、钛、镁、铬、钡、钙、铂、钯、镍、铜合金以及铁的群组中的至少一种。
15.一种在燃烧之前调节燃料的方法,包括:
(a)将燃料引入如权利要求1所述的燃料调节模块的入口端;
(b)从所述燃料调节模块的出口端排出经调节的燃料;以及
(c)燃烧所述经调节的燃料。
16.根据权利要求15所述的方法,其中所述燃料为用于内燃机的液态燃料,且其中步骤(c)包括在内燃机内燃烧所述经调节的燃料。
17.一种在燃烧之前调节燃料的方法,包括以下步骤:
(a)使未调节的燃料与燃料调节插入组件接触,所述燃料调节插入组件包括含有沸石微粒和固体树脂粘结剂中的稀土金属或金属氧化物微粒的混合物的沸石催化材料;以及
(b)燃烧所述经调节的燃料。
18.根据权利要求17所述的方法,其中所述树脂粘结剂为环氧树脂。
19.根据权利要求17所述的方法,其中所述沸石微粒包括微孔性的铝硅酸盐矿物。
20.根据权利要求17所述的方法,其中所述沸石微粒含有选自于包括方沸石、菱沸石、斜发沸石、片沸石、钠沸石、钙十字沸石以及辉沸石的群组的至少一种沸石材料。
21.根据权利要求17所述的方法,其中所述稀土金属或金属氧化物微粒包括元素周期表的镧系元素的至少一种金属和/或金属氧化物。
22.根据权利要求21所述的方法,其中所述稀土金属或金属氧化物微粒含有选自于包括镝、钬、镧、铈、钐、氟碳铈矿以及硅铍钇矿的群组的至少一种金属和/或金属氧化物。
23.根据权利要求17所述的方法,其中所述燃料调节插入组件包括由催化金属构成的金属元素团。
24.根据权利要求23所述的方法,其中所述金属元素团包括由铜、铝、不锈钢、钛、镁、铬、钡、钙、铂、钯、镍、铜合金以及铁中的至少一种构成的金属元素。
25.根据权利要求24所述的方法,其中所述沸石催化材料分散在所述金属元素团中。
26.根据权利要求25所述的方法,其中分散在所述金属元素团中的所述沸石催化材料包括沸石催化材料的碎片。
27.根据权利要求26所述的方法,进一步包括使所述燃料与所述燃料调节插入组件上游的一层沸石催化材料接触。
