Abstract
一种由玻璃母体物质构成,并浸渍有一般可沥滤
的毒物的滤饼,可以最好与至少另一种玻璃母体物质
一起,加热到足够的高温,以形成一种熔融组合物,冷
却后,固化而成玻璃。一般可沥滤的毒物固定在玻璃
中,使其基本上难以沥滤,从而可符合环境标准而排
放,如通过填埋技术排入。该方法可用来处理从制备
食品级磷酸过程中所得到浸有五硫化二砷的滤饼。
Description
本发明涉及的是浸有化学毒物的滤饼的处理方法,以把毒物固定或密封在滤饼中。
现有多种化工过程采用滤饼材料,如硅藻土,从液态化学物流中过滤不需要的物质,如毒物。当过滤操作完成后,过滤的固体残渣构成了滤饼,它浸渍有从滤液中除去的物质。当在滤饼中含有可沥滤的毒物时,倾倒浸过的滤饼(如,填埋)将因毒物的沥滤而带来环境(污染)问题。
本发明的方法是关于将一般可沥滤的毒物有效地固定在由玻璃母体物质构成的滤饼材料中。它包括将含有一般可沥滤的毒物的滤饼,最好同至少一种其它玻璃母体物质一起加热,从而形成一含有毒物的熔融物质。得到的熔融物质固化形成玻璃,将毒物密封或固定在内,使之基本难以从中沥滤出来。本文所用的术语“玻璃母体”是指一种或多种这样的物质,在它加热(最好同至少一种其它“玻璃母体”物质一起)到足够的高温后,会形成一熔融组合物,一旦冷却,就变成一种玻璃组合物。
本发明可广泛地适用于固定或密封在特定一类滤饼介质中(即滤饼由一般可沥滤的毒物。玻璃母体物质,如硅质材料象硅藻土等构成)它特别适用于在热法制食品级磷酸工艺过程中,用过滤除去五硫化二砷。
根据本发明,最好将由玻璃母体物质如硅藻土构成的滤饼,与一种或几种相容的玻璃母体物质混合(如,这些物质与含氧化硅的物质一起加热时形成玻璃),以形成一熔融组合物,冷却后形成玻璃从而密封毒物。可与硅质滤饼一起使用的相容的玻璃母体物质如纯碱,石灰和氧化铝。当然,对由玻璃母体物质构成的滤饼,若在没有任何其他物质存在下加热,仍将形成一熔融组合物,它一旦冷却,即形成玻璃组合物,这种情形,也包括在本发明的范围之内。玻璃母体物质的相对含量,以及加热温度,均可在较大的范围内变动,对于玻璃加工工艺,只要形成的熔融组合物一旦冷却,固化而成玻状物质,从而密封或固定一般可沥滤的毒物,使其基本上难以沥滤即可。根据需要,所加热的混合物中可添加一些助剂,以帮助在形成的最终玻璃物质中完成密封毒物的过程。例如,业已发现,若滤饼中的毒物是五硫化二砷,则添加约1%的硝酸钠,使硫化物氧化到其难挥发的+5价氧化态(As2S5),将是有益的。
以下的实施例进一步说明本发明的方法。
实施例1
将水洗后,烘干后,浸有五硫化二砷的硅藻土滤饼(37g)与纯碱(24g),熟石灰(13g),脱水氧化铝(2g),以及硝酸钠(1g)混合。再加入足够的水使混合物湿化,并控制可能的起尘。然后使湿混合物彻底混合。将一部分形成的混合物放入一坩锅,插入一熔化炉,将炉温升高到1450°-1500℃,保持10分钟。将坩锅中的熔融物倒入一不锈钢皿中,使其固化成一玻璃组合物:玻璃呈透明的浅绿色。
将固体玻璃破碎进行特定的分析试验:毒性特性沥滤过程(TCLP)以及EP毒性测试。TCLP测试可见联邦注册登记,86年11月7日。第40643-40654页描述。 EP毒性测试EPA方法1310,40CFR261.24。TCLP和EP测试的沥滤液中均未发现可检测到的砷。
实施例2
将硅藻土助滤剂(35g),五硫化二砷(2g),磷酸二氢钠(6.09),碳酸钠(9.5g),熟石灰(6.5g),脱水氧化铝(3g),硝酸钠(1g),和活性炭(0.5g)混合。加入足够量的水使混合物湿化并控制其起尘,使形成的混合物彻底混合。再把得到的混合物倒入一坩锅中,按实施1所述方法加热。形成的玻状组合物呈黑色,不透明。TCLP测试其沥滤液中未发现有可检测到的砷。
前述的实施例仅用来说明本发明的某些实施方案,但不能理解为是对本发明的限制。本发明的保护范围应依下述权利要求而定。
Claims (9)
1.一种将一般可沥滤的毒物固定在由玻璃母体物质构成的滤饼中,从而使毒物基本上难以从中沥滤的方法,其特征在于将含有毒物的滤饼加热,形成一熔融组合物,冷却后,形成一含毒物的玻璃。
2.根据权利要求1的方法,其特征在于滤饼由硅质材料构成。
3.根据权利要求2的方法,其特征在于滤饼由硅藻土构成。
4.根据权利要求1的方法,其特征在于滤饼由硅质材料构成,毒物是五硫化二砷。
5.根据权利要求4的方法,其特征在于滤饼由硅藻土构成。
6.根据权利要求4的方法,其特征在于滤饼和毒物是在过滤含所述的五硫化二砷的磷酸过程中得到的。
7.根据权利要求1的方法,其特征在于加热之前,滤饼与至少另一种玻璃母体物质混合。
8.根据权利要求2的方法,其特征在于加热之前,滤饼与至少一种其它玻璃母体物质混合。
9.根据权利要求6的方法,其特征在于在加热之前,滤饼与至少另一种玻璃母体物质混合。
