背景技术

食品或药品生产线的维护现在具有严格的准则,即需要禁止各种材料封装部件进入的禁区。尽管有这些禁止政策,还是会有塑料残片进入生产线,而且,即使只有单一的塑料片进入生产流水线,也必须将大量的原本可用的产品废弃。关于肉馅处理的规定可作为示例,其要求将可能被污染的产品废弃。无意中被引入生产禁区中的常见塑料包装包括:气溶胶罐,油脂料筒管、油脂管帽、塑料纤维毛巾料、包装带、提桶盖、瓶盖和刷子。
气溶胶罐常用于食品和药品生产工业以传输润滑剂、密封剂和其它物质,从而保持生产设备的操作。典型的气溶胶罐具有安装在罐顶的塑料盖,以覆盖气溶胶喷射按钮。为了排出气溶胶罐的加压的容纳物,常常将盖移除,将气溶胶罐保持在竖立位置,并以要施力的方向按下气溶胶喷射按钮。可选地,喷射管连接到喷射按钮,从而以更集中的方式引导气溶胶喷射流从喷射按钮的孔喷向期望目标。这样的气溶胶罐盖、喷射按钮和喷射管典型地使用塑料材料,诸如聚丙烯、金属、尼龙或高密度聚乙烯的,通过挤出成型或注射成型而形成。在食品或药品产业生产线的应用环境中使用这种罐时,盖、喷射按钮和喷射管这些塑料部件中的每一个都有可能从气溶胶罐中分离并进入生产流水线。一旦由塑料形成的气溶胶包装部件进入该生产流水线,则难以在生产过程中探测到这些部件及其碎片。
因此,需要一种由这样的物质形成的塑料包装部件,该物质易于通过传统的金属探测器、X光或其它电磁频谱的探测技术被检测到,以避免所述部件遗留在诸如食品或药品产品的消费产品生产线中。
发明内容
提供一种由树脂形成的塑料包装部件,该树脂包含电磁频谱可探测的添加物,该添加物与树脂混合。所述树脂形成为以下部件的塑料包装部件:气溶胶封装盖、气溶胶喷射按钮、气溶胶喷射管、触发式喷射器、集成盖喷射器、油脂料筒、油脂帽、塑料纤维毛巾料、包装带、提桶盖、瓶盖或刷子。
提供一种用于探测有机生产流水线中脱落的包装部件的方法,其包括:向树脂中加入与树脂混合的电磁频谱可探测的添加物;将添加有添加物的树脂形成为塑料包装部件,例如气溶胶包装盖、气溶胶喷射按钮、气溶胶喷射管、触发式喷射器、集成盖喷射器、油脂料筒、油脂帽、塑料纤维毛巾料、包装带、提桶盖、瓶盖或刷子。然后针对产品流水线中存在的添加物的可探测信号而扫描生产流水线。当探测到添加物时,提供警报信号,该信号表示生产流水线包含脱落的包装部件。

具体实施方式
本发明具有实用性,因为塑料包装部件能够通过异物探测设备被探测到,特别是在食品和药品产业常用的有机物质生产流水线应用环境中。通过在塑料树脂中添加电磁频谱可探测的添加物,可以允许探测到意外地脱落到有机生产流水线中的这些部件。
通过示例而不限于图中所示的尺寸和结构,图1中气溶胶喷射罐通常用10示出,气溶胶喷射罐10包括盖12,用于安装到围绕主体16的唇缘14或罐10的阀帽18。穹形的封闭体17在唇缘14上方延伸并终止于顶部边缘18。产品排出管20穿过顶部边缘18延伸,产品排出管20覆盖有气溶胶喷射按钮22。喷射按钮22中具有孔24。孔24与罐10的容纳物完全连通。溶胶喷射管26可选择地被提供用于与孔24连接以直接从孔24延伸,从而罐10的容纳物可以通过孔24并通过管26来从管26的远端排出。
根据本发明,塑料气溶胶包装部件示例性地包括气溶胶包装盖12、气溶胶喷射按钮22、气溶胶喷射管26。除了图1中所示的部件以外,应认识到,由本发明成分制成的其它气溶胶部件示例性地包括任何可能会从气溶胶应用中分离的塑料气溶胶部件,其可能是加压的或者是手工泵压的,该塑料气溶胶部件包括:夹式延伸管固定器,例如在专利US 5,178,354中所示;触发式喷射器,例如在美国专利3,756,512、4,155,487、4,345,718中所示;集成盖喷射器,例如在美国专利4,620,646、5,379,924中所示;和它们的组合,该塑料气溶胶部件由传统的热塑性树脂形成,所述树脂经过注射成型或挤出成型而形成相应的部件。其它图示的本发明的塑料包装部件包括:夹式延伸管固定器(图2A),触发式喷射器(图2B)和集成盖喷射器(图2C)。其它的得益于可探测特性并作为对食品和药品生产线的常见污染物的塑料部件如图所示并包括:油脂料筒(图2D),油脂帽(图2E),塑料纤维毛巾片(图2F),包装带(图2G),提桶盖(图2H),瓶盖(图2I)和刷子(图2J)。受益于包含有电磁频谱可探测的添加物的本发明部件的共同特征是:与用于保持生产线操作的消耗品相关。在特定实施例中,本发明元件通常与生产设备无关。
形成部件的传统树脂中包括与树脂混合的电磁频谱可探测的添加物。添加物存在的量能够通过金属探测、X光探测和微波探测常见的传统探测技术或者其它电磁频谱探测技术而探测到。应认识到,虽然这些探测技术可以与添加物或部件的成像结合使用,但添加物探测不是只基于用于定位有机生产流水线中的混杂金属或高电子密度物质的可见光成像。这样的有机生产流水线通常与食品产业、药品产业、动物饲料产业和医用产品相关。应认识到,这样的有机生产流水线主要基于含碳材料,公认的是,这样的流水线还包含微量的营养金属、有机金属催化剂和金属酶等。进入流水线中的本发明塑料部件的碎片或碎块被认为是不希望出现的污染物,并可通过产品流水线中的固有物质而被探测出。
形成塑性气溶胶包装部件的树脂示例性地包括:丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯(ABS),乙酰基树脂,丙烯酸树脂,乙烯-醋酸乙烯酯(EVA),含氟聚合物,尼龙,聚碳酸酯,聚酯,聚乙烯,聚丙烯,聚苯乙烯,聚氯乙烯,N-乙烯基咔唑,聚氨酯,人造橡胶(例如聚异戊二烯、聚丁二烯、聚乙烯-聚丙烯橡胶(EPDM),丁苯橡胶(SBR))及其组合。聚丙烯和聚乙烯代表了示例性的热塑性树脂,包装部件由该树脂浇铸成型或挤出成型。特别地,高密度聚乙烯代表了用于形成这样的气溶胶包装部件和其它包装部件的优选类别的聚乙烯。应认识到,除了热塑性树脂以外,注射成型的合成物可选地还包括:增塑剂、着色剂、加工助剂、填充剂(例如碳酸钙、玻璃纤维、和金红石或其他形式的二氧化钛)和炭黑。
热塑性树脂或热固性树脂与电磁频谱可探测的添加物混合,该添加物以利于探测的量和尺寸存在于树脂中。优选地,添加物所存在的量和尺寸限制了基料树脂加工质量的变化。树脂中该电磁频谱可探测的添加物的一般重量,通常占形成本发明部件的树脂成分总重量的1%至30%。为防止添加物阻止或干扰经由制模头部的树脂注射成型的可能性,优选地,添加物采用球形微粒或至少为微粒的形式,其中,微粒的最长线性尺寸与微粒的最短线性尺寸之比为3:1-1:1。
优选地,添加物具有的平均x-y-z线性尺寸,使得塑性树脂中至少50%的添加物微粒具有小于100微米的x-y-z平均线性尺寸。
在此使用的“x-y-z平均线性尺寸”限定了由x轴线、y轴线和z轴线所限定的在三个正交方向上的微粒平均线性尺寸。更优选地,70%以上的添加物微粒具有小于80微米的平均x-y-z线性尺寸。进一步优选地,90%以上的添加物微粒具有小于50微米的平均x-y-z线性尺寸。添加物可选地通过前述树脂中的一种进行预涂覆以利于散开。
在此有效的电磁频谱可探测的添加物的特性,主要取决于与树脂的兼容性和由所采用的有机生产流水线探测设备进行探测的灵敏度。在此有效的电磁频谱可探测的添加物示例性地包括:不锈钢、含铁金属、锌、铝,以及包含铝、锌、铁这样的金属的合金。硫酸钡和含碘化合物代表了在此有效的无机非金属电磁频谱可探测的添加物,其具有高程度的辐射不透性。这种本发明添加物的一般重量通常在可注射成型树脂的总重量的1~30%的范围内。优选地,添加物被选择为食品级的或者相对于药品生产流水线或其它生产流水线呈惰性。
为便于使本发明的可探测添加物与适于注射成型的热塑性树脂包装体混合,优选地,电磁频谱可探测添加物和聚合物载体一起与热塑性树脂混合。适合的聚合物载体与添加物相互混合以形成粒状材料,该粒状非常适于混合到基于螺杆的热塑性挤出成型机器中,从而与工业常用的热塑性树脂球粒混合,以便在空气中形成均匀熔体。这样的球粒易于通过传统的Ga la造粒机形成。适合的聚合物载体包括前述的热塑性树脂。示例性的聚合物载体包括:聚丙烯、乙烯-丙烯酸乙酯和醋酸乙烯酯。这样的聚合物载体混合微粒可从包括Eriez(Erie,PA)在内的多个供应商购得。
应认识到,相对于在没有本发明可探测添加物情况下,包含有本发明可探测添加物的部件成型常常具有一定程度的脆化。本领域技术人员应认识到,可通过修改配方而至少部分地补偿脆化,例如,更多重量的增塑剂,减少树脂内的传统填料,或借助于具有更低玻璃化转变温度的树脂。
针对于如图2F中所示的本发明塑料毛巾片,传统纤维通过包含有本发明添加物微粒的清洗而形成,以使得这样的纤维在添加到毛巾片中时可以根据本发明而被电磁频谱探测到。所述纤维可选地在生产后仍然是有黏性的,另外添加物通过传统的接触粘接剂或热塑性熔体而被粘附。然后,涂覆有添加物的合成纤维用于以传统方式制造塑料纤维毛巾。
在本发明的塑料包装部件进行挤压成型、注射成型、或浇铸成型时,本发明的该部件与图1中所示的气溶胶包装容器或其它容器组合,并以与传统部件相同的方式操作。然而,当本发明的部件从包装容器中脱离并落入有机生产流水线(例如与食品或药品生产相关的有机生产流水线)中时,易于针对所述可探测添加物来扫描产品流水线,而且一旦发现添加物则发出警报。在特定实施例中,一旦有警报发出,则停止生产线,而且可选地,将可能受到污染的部分产品与纯产品分离。在此有效的频谱探测示例性地包括:传统金属探测、X管探测和微波探测。因此,与本发明包装容器相关的脱落的部件易于被探测到并且在包装之前和消费者可能摄食或发生其它接触之前从生产流水线中移除。

Claims (17)
1.一种塑料包装部件,包括:
热塑性或热固性树脂,用于形成基体;和
添加物,其是与所述树脂混合的不锈钢微粒,所述添加物占所述部件的总重量的1-50%,所述树脂形成为所述部件的形状;并且
其中所述添加物具有平均x-y-z线性尺寸,使得至少50%的添加物的微粒小于100微米,并且所述微粒的最长线性尺寸与所述微粒的最短线性尺寸之比为3:1-1:1。
2.如权利要求1所述的部件,其中,所述形状是气溶胶包装盖、气溶胶喷射按钮、气溶胶喷射管或所述管的气溶胶包装夹式延伸固定器之一。
3.如权利要求1所述的部件,其中,所述树脂是丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯(ABS)、乙酰基树脂、丙烯酸树脂、乙烯-醋酸乙烯酯(EVA)、含氟聚合物、尼龙、聚碳酸酯、聚酯、聚乙烯、聚丙烯、聚苯乙烯、聚氯乙烯、N-乙烯基咔唑、聚氨酯、聚异戊二烯、聚丁二烯、聚乙烯-聚丙烯橡胶(EPDM)、丁苯橡胶(SBR)之一或它们的组合。
4.如权利要求1所述的部件,其中,所述树脂是聚丙烯。
5.如权利要求1所述的部件,其中,所述树脂是聚乙烯。
6.如权利要求1所述的部件,其中,所述树脂是高密度聚乙烯。
7.如权利要求1所述的部件,其中,所述添加物是食品级的或者相对于药品生产流水线呈惰性。
8.如权利要求1所述的部件,其中,所述形状是触发式喷射器或一体式盖喷射器。
9.如权利要求1所述的部件,其中,所述形状是油脂料筒或油脂盖。
10.如权利要求1所述的部件,其中,所述形状是包装带。
11.如权利要求1所述的部件,其中,所述形状是提桶盖或瓶盖。
12.如权利要求1所述的部件,其中,所述形状是刷子。
13.如权利要求1所述的部件,进一步包括:聚合物载体,其在所述添加物与所述树脂混合之前与所述添加物混合。
14.一种用于探测有机生产流水线中的脱落的塑料包装部件的方法,包括:
形成所述包装部件,所述包装部件包含如权利要求1所述的塑料包装部件中的所述添加物;和
针对所述部件中存在的所述添加物而扫描所述生产流水线。
15.如权利要求14所述的方法,进一步包括:当探测到所述添加物时,发出警报。
16.如权利要求15所述的方法,进一步包括:响应于所述警报,将所述生产流水线的一部分隔离。
17.如权利要求14所述的方法,其中,所述部件是塑料纤维毛巾片。
