Abstract

一种显示装置。显示装置包括一背光模块及一面板。背光模块包括一下框架、一导光板、一光学膜片结构及一上框架。导光板设置于下框架之上。光学膜片结构设置于导光板之上。上框架覆盖光学膜片结构的边周缘,并覆盖下框架的侧边。面板设置于上框架之上。

技术领域
本案是有关于一种显示装置,且特别是有关于一种具有边框的显示装置。
背景技术
随着显示科技的发展,各式显示装置不断推陈出新,并广泛应用于电子装置中。在显示装置中,背光模块用以提供光线。当光线穿越面板后,会呈现出一画面。框架则用以组装背光模块及面板。
为了组装背光模块及面板,会采用塑胶壳来承载背光模块,并以双面粘合膜粘合背光模块及面板。然而,塑胶壳与双面粘合膜将形成一边框。边框会遮蔽视觉路径。从显示装置的垂直角度观看时,一些邻近于显示主动区的光学工件与组装元件可以避免被看到。根据实际的状况,边框已经成为显示装置发展的一项瓶颈,需要在技术上有所突破。
发明内容
本案系有关于一种显示装置,其利用设置于显示装置及其背光模块的一上框架,使得显示装置的边框可以缩小。
根据本案的第一方面,提出一种显示装置。显示装置包括一背光模块及一面板。背光模块包括一下框架、一导光板、一光学膜片结构及一上框架。导光板设置于下框架之上。光学膜片结构设置于导光板之上。上框架覆盖光学膜片结构的边周缘,并覆盖下框架的侧边。面板设置于上框架之上。
本发明利用设置于显示装置及其背光模块的一上框架,使得显示装置的边框可以缩小。
为了对本发明的上述及其他方面有更佳的了解,下文特举较佳实施例,并配合所附图式,作详细说明如下:

具体实施方式
以下系提出实施例进行详细说明,其利用设置于显示装置及其背光模块的一上框架,使得显示装置的边框可以缩小。然而,实施例仅用以作为范例说明,并不会限缩本发明欲保护的范围。此外,实施例中的图式系省略部份元件,以清楚显示本发明的技术特点。
请参照图1,其绘示一实施例的一显示装置100的示意图。显示装置100包括一背光模块110及一面板120。背光模块110用以提供一光线,例如是一冷阴极管(Cold CathodeFluorescent Lamp,CCFL)或一发光二极管模块(Light-Emitting Diode module,LEDmodule)。光线穿越面板120后将形成一影像。面板120例如是一液晶显示面板。
请参照图2及图3,图2绘示图1的显示装置100的上视图,图3绘示图2的显示装置100沿截面线3-3的剖面图。背光模块110包括一下框架111、一反射片112、一导光板113、一光学膜片结构114及一上框架115。反射片112设置于下框架111之上。导光板112设置于反射片112之上。光学膜片结构114设置于导光板113之上。导光板113设置于反射片112上。光学膜片结构114设置于导光板113上。导光板113用以导引由一光源发出的光线。反射片112用以将光线向上反射。光学膜片结构114用以散射或均匀化由导光板113射出的光线。
下框架111用以承载反射片112、导光板113及光学膜片结构114。下框架111的材质可以是金属或塑胶,例如是铜(Cu)、铝(Al)、钢、不锈钢或镁(Magnesium)。上框架115用以覆盖光学膜片结构114的周缘。上框架115的材质可以是金属或塑胶,例如是铜(Cu)或铝(Al)。上框架115及下框架111形成一容置空间S。反射片112、导光板113及光学膜片结构114设置于容置空间S内。面板120设置于容置空间S之外。
在一实施例中,上框架115及下框架111可以透过卡合结构连接,例如是卡勾或夹具或镕接。镕接的方式例如是雷射镕接(laserwelding)。反射片112、导光板113及光学膜片结构114可以稳固地固定于容置空间S内。
再者,反射片112、导光板113及光学膜片结构114可以透过下框架111及上框架115轻易地组装,无须藉助任何胶带、爪勾或螺丝。如此一来,制造速度可以有效提升,材料成本也可有效降低。
在本实施例中,上框架115包括一第一板1151及一第二板1152。第一板1151的厚度D1实质上等于第二板1152的厚度D2。第一板1151及第二板1152可以透过弯折一平板的方式形成。第一板1151及第二板1152实质上相互垂直。在剖面的视角中,上框架115呈现L型结构。
第一板1151设置于光学膜片结构114及面板120之间。第二板1152连接于第一板1151且覆盖导光板113的一侧表面113a。为了避免漏光,第一板1151设置于光学膜片结构114及面板120之间的间隙,并且覆盖光学膜片结构114的周缘。如图3所示,泄漏的光线发生于视觉路径L的外侧(即图3的视觉路径L的右侧)。因此,位于视觉路径L的外的部份光学膜片结构114必须被第一板1151所遮蔽。第一板1151提供足够的面积来遮蔽视觉路径L之外的区域。如此一来,第一板1151无须向内进一步延伸。
再者,下框架111包括一第三板1113及一第四板1114。第三板1113及第四板1114实质上相互垂直。第三板1113用以承载导光板113。第四板1114连接于第三板1113,并覆盖导光板113的侧表面113a。第四板1114设置于导光板113的侧表面113a及第二板1152之间。在第四板1114及导光板113的侧表面113a之间无须再插入任何塑胶壳。并且导光板113已经被下框架111所支撑也无须任何塑胶壳。
请参照图3,显示装置100更包括一第一偏光片130、一第二偏光片140及一双面粘合片150。第一偏光片130及第二偏光片140设置于面板120的两侧。第一偏光片130及第二偏光片140用以分别限制特定偏极方向的光线可以通过,以调整穿越面板120的光线的量。双面粘合片150设置于第一板1151,以黏合第一偏光片130及第一板1151。双面粘合片150的宽度W1实质上等于或大于第一板1151的宽度W2。第一板1151提供足够的面积来粘合第一偏光片130,因此双面粘合片150无须进一步向内延伸,使得第一板1151在视角内不会被看到。在本发明中,双面粘合片150可以是双面胶带或胶层。
在显示装置100中。第一板1151及双面粘合片150形成一边框。由于第一板1151的宽度W2可以维持的够小仍不会有漏光,并且双面粘合片150的宽度W1可以维持的够小仍不会降低粘合力,所以第一板1151及双面粘合片150所形成的边框可以被缩小。
综上所述,虽然本发明已以较佳实施例揭露如上,然其并非用以限定本发明。本发明所属技术领域中具有通常知识者,在不脱离本发明的精神和范围内,当可作各种的更动与润饰。因此,本发明的保护范围当以本发明权利要求范围所界定者为准。

Claims (10)

1.一种显示装置,其特征在于,所述的显示装置包括:
一背光模块,包括:
一下框架;
一导光板,设置于所述的下框架之上;
一光学膜片结构,设置于所述的导光板之上;及
一上框架,覆盖所述的光学膜片结构的周缘,并覆盖所述的下框架的侧边;以及一面板,设置于所述的上框架之上。
2.如权利要求1所述的显示装置,其特征在于,所述的上框架包括:
一第一板,设置于所述的光学膜片结构及所述的面板之间;以及
一第二板,连接所述的第一板,并覆盖所述的导光板的一侧表面。
3.如权利要求2所述的显示装置,其特征在于,所述的第一板及所述的第二板实质上相互垂直。
4.如权利要求2所述的显示装置,其特征在于,所述的显示装置更包括:
一双面粘合膜片,设置于所述的第一板上。
5.如权利要求4所述的显示装置,其特征在于,所述的双面粘合膜片的宽度实质上等于或大于所述的第一板的宽度。
6.如权利要求2所述的显示装置,其特征在于,所述的第一板的厚度实质上等于所述的第二板的厚度。
7.如权利要求2所述的显示装置,其特征在于,所述的下框架包括:
一第三板,用以承载所述的导光板;以及
一第四板,连接于所述的第三板,并覆盖所述的导光板的所述的侧表面。
8.如权利要求7所述的显示装置,其特征在于,所述的第四板设置于所述的导光板的所述的侧表面及所述的第二板之间。
9.如权利要求1所述的显示装置,其特征在于,所述的上框架及所述的下框架形成一容置空间,所述的导光板及所述的光学膜片结构设置于所述的容置空间内,所述的面板设置于所述的容置空间之外。
10.如权利要求1所述的显示装置,其特征在于,所述的上框架的材质系为塑胶。
