提供了一种猪肌抑素基因座位及其应用。还提供了一种表达盒,由启动子、外源基因和终止子组成:所述启动子为如下1)--3)中任一项所述的DNA分子:1)序列表的序列1自5’末端第2642-3778位核苷酸;2)序列表的序列1所示的核苷酸;3)在严格条件下与1)或2)限定的DNA序列杂交且具有相同功能的DNA分子。本发明的猪肌抑素基因座位为在该位点处进行基因打靶、转入并表达外源基因提供了有价值的基因资源。
