Abstract
本发明提供一种经济的LED灯模块,所述模块配置为利用最少的能量将来自单个LED的光以均匀的形式发射并具有较长的使用寿命。所述LED灯模块包括主双曲面反射器和具有配置为与电源电连通的电连接器的插头插座。LED与所述电连接器电连通安装。细长光导管在被配置以接收发射自LED的光的光接收端和光发射端之间延伸。该光发射端具有同心围绕所述双曲面反射器的焦点设置的抛物面反射器。

技术领域
本发明大致涉及发光模块,更具体地涉及一种具有配置为与光导管光学连接的发光二极管(LED)的发光模块。
背景技术
众所周知,在车辆应用中使用具有白炽灯泡的灯模块。虽然白炽灯泡已经长时间成功占领车辆应用,但公认它们使用相对较大的能量供给,并具有相对较短的使用寿命。为了克服白炽灯泡带来的这些和其他问题,人们尝试将LED引入灯模块来代替白炽灯泡。遗憾的是,目前引入LED的模块尽管它只需较少的能量并具有更长的使用寿命,但是仍有缺点。例如,为了获得理想的发光形式,LED灯模块通常使用大量的LED,例如8个或8个以上,这反过来要求增加施加于各个LED上的能量。此外,目前的LED灯模块的发光效率低下。效率低下至少部分是由于人们无法知道反射器的配置和排列,所述反射器用以将直接发射自LED的光以均匀的光形式朝着预期将被照亮的周围区域反射。因此,尽管单个LED通常相对单个白炽灯泡具有更长的使用寿命并且只需更少的能量,但由于需要引入多个LED到发光模块中,这让使用LED代替白炽灯泡的好处大打折扣。因此,人们仍需要努力构造只需较少能量的LED灯模块,并且同时能够以均匀的光形式发射到预期将被照亮的周围区域。
发明内容
本发明提供一种经济的LED灯模块,所述LED灯模块配置为利用最少的能量将来自单个LED的光以均匀的形式发射并具有较长的使用寿命。该LED灯模块包括主双曲面反射器和具有配置为与电源电连通的电连接器的插头插座。还包括与电连接器电连通安装的LED。在被配置为接收发射自LED的光的光接收端和光发射端之间延伸的细长的光导管。该光发射端具有同心围绕所述双曲面反射器的焦点设置的抛物面反射器。
根据本发明的另一个方面,LED灯模块的外壳具有一开口,其中一插座被配置为容置于开口中。该插座固定于双曲面反射器,并具有配置为容纳所述光导管贯穿于其中的贯穿通道。
根据本发明的另一个方面,LED灯模块包括基座,所述基座的一端可操作地与插座连接,另一端提供围绕电连接器的插头插座。
根据本发明的另一个方面,该基座具有内空腔,还包括设置于所述内空腔中并与所述电连接器和所述LED电连通的PCB。
根据本发明的另一个方面,光发射端具有具有抛物形内弧面和反射器背弧面。
根据本发明的另一个方面,光导管是由可见光透射材料构造的实心、非中空件。
根据本发明的另一个方面,抛物面反射器是一种金属化涂层。
根据本发明的又一个方面,抛物面反射器是连接到抛物形内弧面的反射插入件。
该模块可被构造用于各种各样的应用,作为举例而非限制,例如尾灯、转弯指示灯、日间行驶灯和中央高位刹车灯(CHMSL)。该模块的制造和设计是经济的,并具有较长的使用寿命。

具体实施方式
更具体地参考附图,图1示出了根据本发明的一个方面构造的LED光导管模块,以下称为灯模块或简称为模块10。模块10包括一配置容纳于壳体16的开口14中的插座12。壳体16具有一固定于所述壳体上的主双曲面反射器18。插座12具有一在近端22和远端24之间延伸的贯穿通道20。模块10还包括具有一内空腔28的基底26,所述内空腔28以两相对端30、32为边界。基底26的一端30可操作与到插座12的近端22连接,例如通过密封件29,且另一端32被配置成提供一插头插座34。电连接器36至少部分设置于插头插座34中,印刷电路板(PCB)38设置于内空腔28中并与电连接器36电连通。此外,安装单个LED40与PCB38以及电连接器36电连通。模块10进一步包括从光接收端44到光发射端46延伸穿过插座12的贯穿通道20的细长光导管42,其中,所述光接收端44配置为接收发射自LED40的光45,所述光发射端46悬设于双曲面反射器18之上。光发射端46具有同心围绕双曲面反射器18的焦点50设置的抛物面反射器48。因此,反射器48可将发射自LED40的光45均匀地沿着焦点50和双曲面反射器18的反射面51之间的焦线反射。在从反射器48的反射面51反射出去之后,光45大致平行于光导管42的纵向中心轴52均匀地被反射到预期被照亮的周围区域。
光导管42可被提供为可见光透射材料,例如聚碳酸酯,构造而成的实心,非中空件,其与中心轴52同轴地在细长的、大致圆柱形部分53上延伸。圆柱形部分53具有比延伸穿过插座12的开口14相对较小的直径。因此,提供插座12及其贯穿通道20可以具有小包层。因此,壳体16中的开口14以及双曲面反射器18可被提供为具有穿过其中的最小尺寸的开口。由此,被光导管42和插座12占用以及阻挡的反射面51越小,双曲面反射器18的反射面51的区域即得到了最大化。
光导管42可提供设计的灵活性,并且其配置可提供增加的焦距。光发射端46具有位于的光导管圆柱形部分53顶部的放大的、大致碗形部分55,如图1中的剖视图所示。该碗形部分55具有最上方的抛物形内弧面54以及最下方的背弧面56,所述内弧面54用于固定抛物面反射器48,所述背弧面56从圆柱形部分53向外展开。在使用中,光波45从LED40向上传播穿过圆柱形部分53到达光发射端46而不穿过圆柱形部分53。光波45大致沿着该圆柱形部分53自由传播到达反射器48,并且向上穿过碗形部分55达到反射器48的径向向外延伸部分。由此,发射自LED40的光波45能够撞击反射到面向双曲面反射器18的反射面51的反射器48的完整抛物面上,从而使得反射的光波45从反射器48径向向外和向下均匀地发散,以撞击双曲面反射器18的全反射面51。这样,反射光波45表现为从单个点光源发出,然后从双曲面反射器18的反射面51反射出到达预期照亮的周围区域。
抛物面反射器48可被提供为粘合到碗形部分55最上面的内弧面54上的金属化涂层。或者,抛物面反射器48可以设置为连接到抛物形内弧面54的独立的反射插入件。因此,该抛物面反射器48的构造可选择多种制造方案。
该基座26可被提供为密封单元,以使空腔28通过基座26和盖密封件29密封,而当移除盖密封件29时,例如在替换LED40的表面,可理想地实现直接接触LED40。此外,尽管只有单个LED40,也可在空腔28中提供吸热的金属件58以吸收LED40在使用中产生的热量。
显然,根据以上教导,对本发明的许多修改和变化都是可能的。因此,应当理解的是,本发明可以采用除了如具体描述的以外的其他方式实施,且本发明的范围由最终允许的权利要求限定。
Claims (9)
1.一种LED灯模块,其特征在于,包括:
具有一开口的壳体;
容纳于所述开口中的插座;
设置于所述插座的径向向外的主双曲面反射器;
配置为与电源电连通的电连接器;
与所述电连接器电连通安装的LED;以及
在光接收端和光发射端之间延伸的细长的光导管,所述光接收端配置为接收发射自所述LED的光,
所述光导管具有在所述光接收端和所述光发射端之间延伸的细长的圆柱形部分;
所述细长的圆柱形部分从所述光接收端到所述光发射端具有不变的直径,并且所述细长的圆柱形部分与所述光导管的纵向中心轴同轴延伸;
所述光发射端具有同心围绕所述双曲面反射器的焦点设置的抛物面反射器;以及
所述抛物面反射器的完整抛物面为反射面。
2.根据权利要求1所述的LED灯模块,其特征在于,所述光发射端具有抛物形内弧面和背弧面。
3.根据权利要求2所述的LED灯模块,其特征在于,所述抛物面反射器是在所述抛物形内弧面上的金属化涂层。
4.根据权利要求2所述的LED灯模块,其特征在于,所述抛物面反射器是与所述抛物形内弧面连接的反射插入件。
5.根据权利要求1-4中任意一项所述的LED灯模块,其特征在于,所述光导管是由可见光透视材料构成的实心、非中空件。
6.根据权利要求1所述的LED灯模块,其特征在于,所述插座固定于所述主双曲面反射器上,并且具有配置为容纳所述光导管贯穿其中的贯穿通道。
7.根据权利要求1所述的LED灯模块,其特征在于,所述LED灯模块还包括基座,所述基座的一端可操作地与所述容纳于所述开口中的插座连接,另一端围绕所述电连接器提供插头插座。
8.根据权利要求7所述的LED灯模块,其特征在于,所述基座具有内空腔,还包括设置于所述内空腔中并与所述电连接器和所述LED电连通的PCB。
9.根据权利要求7所述的LED灯模块,其特征在于,所述基座配置为与所述容纳于所述开口中的插座密封连接。
