背景技术
反渗透的概念,或对选择性膜向溶液施压同时在压力下从溶质分离溶剂的行为存在多年。通过制造基于醋酸纤维素的不对称膜首先使该技术可能并实用。从此时起,反渗透膜发展从而容忍宽范围的pH、温度和暴露于粗糙的化学药品。

如上面描述,接下来的步骤关于在液体-液体界面154的对齐碳纳米管180周围原位形成薄层选择性膜。在一个实施例中,在图9和10中图解的薄膜制造确保装配的碳纳米管层180利用界面技术执行。特定参考图9,水层(水和乙醇混合物120)用多官能胺组分200注射,并且有机层150用多官能胺反应组分210注射。胺组分200拥有至少两个主氨基,并可从芳香族、脂肪族和脂环族多官能胺构成的集合中选择。氨基反应组分210拥有至少两个氨基反应基。优选的氨基反应官能团包括酸性卤化物,以及从芳香族、脂肪族和脂环族多官能化合物构成的集合中选择的至少一种胺反应化合物。
选择的反应组分在液体-液体界面154自发聚合从而形成包裹先前装配的碳纳米管180的薄膜230,如在图10中示出。薄膜230在此也称为薄层膜/碳纳米管复合物230。图11和12图解薄层膜/碳纳米管复合物230转移和联结到微孔支撑膜130的下伏结构支撑层上。
特定地,薄层膜/碳纳米管复合物230在液体-液体界面154形成之后,必需转移薄层膜/碳纳米管复合物230到微孔支撑层130。在一个实施例中,该转移使用界面聚合方案实现,从而使薄层膜/碳纳米管复合物23层压或联结到微孔支撑层130。
如上面描述,在引入水层(水和乙醇混合物120)之后但在添加多官能胺组分200之前,通过背衬材料140支撑的微孔支撑130降低进入稀释的乙醇溶液120。薄层膜/碳纳米管复合物230在液体-液体界面154原位形成之后,微孔支撑130缓慢升高从而获得在液体-液体界面154与薄层膜/碳纳米管复合物230接触,如在图11中示出。现在参考图12,结合的微孔支撑130和薄层膜/碳纳米管复合物230然后升高进入有机层150,并保持在那里直到充足时间过去,从而通过酸性卤化物种类与残留二胺化合物的反应使两个层(130和230)界面联结在一起。该装配然后从有机层150转移,清洗并从多单元泡沫的固体背衬140去除。
图13是图解在其中悬浮的多个对齐碳纳米管10的薄层膜/碳纳米管复合物230的图示。复合物230的膜结构可操作从而减少流阻和能量输入,同时在上面描述的制造技术使碳纳米管材料有效并入反渗透膜。
可替换并且如上面描述,合并对齐碳纳米管(复合物230)的薄层选择性膜可使用修改的界面技术形成。该技术包括通过浸涂进入胺溶液首先用多官能胺涂覆多孔支撑130,并然后干燥支撑130。导致的胺涂覆的多孔支撑可然后放置在水/乙醇层120内,穿过含有对齐碳纳米管180的液体-液体界面154,并进入包括多官能胺反应化合物的有机层150。在一个实施例中该胺反应化合物是多官能酸性卤化物种类。多孔支撑层130通过液体-液体界面154并进入反应有机层150的转移使在支撑表面的薄层选择性膜聚合,该膜有效合并在液体-液体界面154对齐的多个碳纳米管10。
碳纳米管并入传统反渗透膜产生通过膜的通道,该通道允许水分子的低阻路径,但禁止水源内的离子组分和其它杂质经过。流动的阻力减少导致跨膜需要的更低压力,并因此减少导致流动通过膜需要的能量的量。这样的配置向碳纳米管的有效组织和固结提供路线以便并入薄选择性反渗透水净化膜。
总之,实施例描述在界面使碳纳米管对齐,并产生在液体-液体界面原位包裹碳纳米管的薄半透聚合膜的结合。在此描述的结合向水净化的可渗透选择性膜提供路线,该膜由能够净化水的聚合物基体围绕的碳纳米管组成。由于实施例能够用更低能耗净化海水和其它原料,因此实施例是可区别的。更低能耗由与当前膜技术相比需要的更低摩擦损失和机械压需求引起。通过在液体-液体界面使碳纳米管有效集中和对齐,描述的实施例能够相比相似的装载碳纳米管膜以更大规模和更低成本容易生产。通过碳纳米管在液体-液体界面固结,可渗透且选择性的聚合物膜然后能够通过界面聚合在碳纳米管周围原位形成。这样的薄膜复合选择性膜主要在海水和含盐水转化为可饮用形式中有用。
如可从本公开了解,描述实施例的一个主要目的是海水和其它含盐水净化为可饮用水。用于水净化的这些新选择性膜超过当前技术的性能改善包括1)膜和围绕的水净化单元提高的能量效率,以及2)降低的制造成本和关于膜生产的可扩展性。
本书面描述使用例子公开各种实施例,从而使本领域技术人员能够实践这些实施例,包括制作和使用任何器件或系统以及执行任何合并的方法。专利范畴通过权利要求定义,并可包括发生到本领域技术人员的其它例子。
Claims (12)
1.一种制造反渗透膜的方法,所述方法包含:
使多个碳纳米管(10)在两种液体的界面(154)对齐,第一层是水层(120),并且第二层是不可混溶到所述水层(120)的有机层(150);
在对齐的碳纳米管(180)周围形成薄层选择性膜;以及
使薄层选择性膜/碳纳米管复合物(230)联结到结构支撑层(130)上,其中在两种液体的界面对齐多个碳纳米管包含:
使所述碳纳米管(10)在醇基溶液内悬浮;
用水稀释所述醇基溶液从而形成水层(120);
添加不可混溶进入所述水层(120)的有机层(150),从而形成液体-液体界面(154);以及
以受控制速率添加另外的醇到所述水层(120)。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中联结所述薄层选择性膜/碳纳米管复合物(230)包含在添加所述有机层(150)之前放置结构支撑层(130)到所述水层(120)中。
3.根据权利要求2所述的方法,其中放置结构支撑层(130)到所述水层(120)中包含布置所述结构支撑层(130)到背衬材料(140)上。
4.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中在所述两种液体的所述界面的所述对齐的碳纳米管周围形成薄层选择性膜包含:
注射多官能胺组分(200)进入所述水层(120);以及
注射多官能胺反应组分(210)进入所述有机层(150)。
5.根据权利要求4所述的方法,其中注射多官能胺组分(200)进入所述水层(120)包含注射至少一种芳香族、脂肪族或脂环族多官能胺进入所述水层(120);以及
其中用多官能胺反应组分(210)注射所述有机层(150)包含注射至少一种多官能胺反应化合物进入所述有机层(150)。
6.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中在所述两种液体的所述界面(154)的所述对齐的纳米碳管(180)周围形成薄层选择性膜包含利用界面技术制造包裹所述对齐的碳纳米管(180)的薄膜。
7.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中使所述薄层选择性膜/碳纳米管复合物(230)联结到结构支撑层(130)上包含利用界面聚合方案,从而使所述薄层选择性膜/碳纳米管复合物(230)层压到所述结构支撑层(130)。
8.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中使所述薄层选择性膜/碳纳米管复合物联结到结构支撑层上包含:
在添加所述有机层(150)之前降低结构支撑层(130)进入所述水层(120);
从所述水层(120)升高所述结构支撑层并与所述薄层选择性膜/碳纳米管复合物(230)接触;
升高结合的结构支撑层(130)和薄层选择性膜/碳纳米管复合物(230)进入所述有机层(150);以及
保持所述结合的结构支撑层(130)和薄层选择性膜/碳纳米管复合物(230)在所述有机层(150)内直到充足时间过去,从而在界面联结所述结构支撑层(130)和薄层选择性膜/碳纳米管复合物(230)。
9.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中在对齐的碳纳米管周围形成薄层选择性膜包含:
用多官能胺涂覆所述结构支撑层(130);以及
在所述有机层(150)内使其上具有对齐纳米管(180)的涂覆的结构支撑层(130)暴露于多官能胺反应化合物。
10.一种根据权利要求1-9的任一项所述的方法制造的反渗透膜,包含:
多个对齐的碳纳米管(180);
在所述对齐的碳纳米管(180)周围形成的薄层选择性膜;以及
与所述薄层选择性膜/碳纳米管复合物(230)联结的结构支撑层(130);
其中利用两种不混溶液体层之间的界面(154)使所述多个对齐的纳米管(180)对齐,所述第一层是稀释的水层(120),所述第二层是有机层(150)。
11.根据权利要求10所述的反渗透膜,其中所述薄层选择性膜的制造包含:
注射多官能胺组分(200)进入所述稀释的水层(120);以及
用多官能胺反应组分(210)注射所述有机层,由此导致所述选择性膜在两个不混溶层之间的所述界面(154)形成。
12.根据权利要求11所述的反渗透膜,其中所述多官能胺反应组分(210)包含至少一种芳香族、脂肪族或脂环族多官能化合物。
