Description

技术领域
本发明涉及一种用于车辆外表面的装饰件。
背景技术
本发明总体上涉及用于入口照明以及用于突出车辆造型的机动车外部照明，并且更具体地，涉及安装以用作为脚灯（puddlelight）的照明装饰件。
机动车上辅助外部照明（即，除前照灯和尾灯之外的）用于多个重要目的。它们提供了指示车辆侧边位置的指示器以提高该车辆对其他人的可见性。不管它们处于亮或不亮的状态，它们都能给车辆提供吸引人的重点造型。当乘客在较暗的状况下进入或接近车辆时，它们也给车辆周围的区域提供照明。当向下朝向地面时，这类灯称为脚灯。
典型的脚灯包括设有透明遮盖或透镜的壳体中的光源，该光源安装在车身或后视镜下部。当激活时，光线照射在地面上照亮进入门或行李箱周围的区域以辅助用户进入。
发明内容

本发明改善了脚灯的造型并且将低亮度重点照明（accentlighting）和高亮度的进入照明（entrylighting）的功能相结合。白天或周围光线较亮时，脚灯具有通常的装饰件的外观，从而也实现了改善白天的造型外观。具体地，本发明使用“单向镜”组件，该组件允许在较暗的状况下能看见从装饰件中发出光线同时在白天情况下阻止看到装饰件的内部。此处使用的术语“单向镜”包括膜、层压材料、涂层或在装饰件中提供单向镜功能的任何其它的结构。该术语进一步包括任何日光表面外观（daylightsurfaceappearance），例如反射的、不反射的、类似于镀铬的、任何光泽度、平整的、喷涂的或使用任何颜色着色的。

具体实施方式
本发明的外部车用照明装置包括在日光下（即明亮环境照明状况）呈现铬表面或带色表面的背光（back-lit）装饰件，其在较暗的环境照明状况下能以光线照射穿过铬/带色表面的方式发光。内部光源提供两个等级的亮度。第一是低等级亮度用于出于突出和侧面标记的目的而照亮装饰件的柔和光线，而第二是照亮车辆附近地面的高等级亮度的脚灯设置。

例如发光二极管（LED）的一个或多个光源沿导光装置设置在端部或多个位置。具有光源的导光装置形成发光条。以低功率模式或高功率模式运转LED。当LED处于低功率模式或普通模式时，发光条穿过双向反射膜发出柔和环境光。当打开车辆的前照灯、泊车灯和/和雾灯时可以激活普通模式。在高功率模式下，发光条明亮地发出照亮车辆周围（例如侧边进入门或行李箱）地面的光线。当通过使用钥匙和/或使用无线钥匙（KeyFOB）解锁车门或行李箱时可激活这种脚灯功能。
可处理导光管的背面以阻止/减少光线通过。这可通过多种方法实现：包括喷涂导光管的背面、施加不透明带、成型磨砂的背面或二级注射成型（two-shotmolding）不透明的后表面。在装饰件中也可提供反射背板以有效使用发出的所有光线。

在较暗环境照明状况下，LED25作为可变光源运转以提供用于突出车辆外表面的第一照明等级。LED以高于第一照明等级的第二照明等级运转以照亮车辆附近的地面，从而在较暗的环境照明状况下辅助进入车辆。通过只打开LED的子组（sub-group）以用于第一照明等级而激活所有的LED以提供第二照明等级，或者LED可接收产生与驱动信号成比例的光输出的可变驱动信号而实现可变光源。根据需要，LED可具有多种颜色。
优选地，单向镜35可包括作为用于车窗和其它表面的单向镜膜销售的类型的层压膜，例如来自Virginia的SunTekofMartinsville生产的SilverTM车窗膜或者来自MissouriSt.Louis的Solutia,Inc.生产的LLumar车窗反射膜。可替代地，单向镜35可以是通过在装饰主体21外表面喷镀金属（例如银）而直接施加在装饰主体21外侧的部分反射涂层。如果给装饰主体21施加了涂层或者如果使用了不包括外部防刮层的单向镜膜，那么可在单向镜35上施加保护层36。保护层36可以是在机动车装饰部件上传统使用的类型的透明涂层。
图4更为详细地显示了设有保护层的层压膜35的截面图。提供粘合层40以将膜35连接到装饰主体上。可提供粘合剂作为膜产品的一部分，并且可将其热激活（heatactivated）。施加到装饰主体上之前从粘合层40去除可能来自制造商的膜上的可去除的分离衬里（removablereleaseliner，未显示）。如果希望装饰件具有彩色的或带色的外观，可选择性地提供聚酯膜层41（或者可以是用于贴车窗的传统膜中的防紫外线层）。层41可采用如已知的用于建筑玻璃的膜的染色（dye）。层42可以是实现单向镜效果的金属化的（例如喷镀的）聚酯膜（或其它现有技术中的已知材料）。进一步的粘合层43连接防刮涂层44。图4中显示的膜可能排除了对单独的保护层36的需求。
图5中更详细地显示了导光装置45A的视图。透明的塑料环46包括围绕环46周边的安装块47-49，分别用于容纳LED50-52。可包括单独的导光分支45B用于获取期望的光线分布或其它效果。为了引导来自LED的光线贯穿环46，提供斜面或槽口53-55用于使来自LED的光线偏转。槽口53-55可包括金属化表面（或反射膜）以增加反射。一旦光线进入环46，它可以可控制地穿过装饰主体漫射并穿出单向镜。如图6中截面显示的，光环46可具有处理过的背面56，该背面56反射光线穿出环46的前表面。除显示的锯齿状反射表面，可在导光装置46的各种表面使用其它的表面处理（例如使表面结构磨砂或变粗糙、喷漆或者贴胶带或金属化）以便使得从装饰件向外投射的光线的区域构成图案。这类构图可以是不变的图案或通过按时间顺序区别地控制单个光源而实现的变化图案。例如，可依次点亮词语的字母。
图7和8显示了包括点亮的字母、标识或其它符号的示例。装饰件60包括装饰主体61，该装饰主体61由成型的热塑性塑料固体构成。装饰主体61可包括不同颜色的区域，例如可使用多级注射成型工艺实现。在主体61的内侧形成凹槽62以容纳连接至丙烯酸发光环64的LED发光条63。可布置发光条63中的LED以将光线导入沿装饰主体61的长度分配光线的环64。背板65具有可包括金属化层或膜的前反射面66。
上文描述的那种类型的单向镜组件67固定在装饰主体61前侧。为了构建对比光区域，在单向镜67的内表面或装饰主体61的外表面喷漆或施加其它遮盖材料68。如图8显示的，遮盖区域对应于较暗情况下当激活脚灯或重点发光特征时能看见的字母“L”。通过颠倒施加喷涂的区域，背景可能是暗的并且字母是点亮的。
图9显示了设有脚灯特征的装饰件70进一步的实施例。主体71和背板72相结合，并且被层压的单向镜膜73覆盖。在装饰主体71和背板72之间，导光装置74安装在较低端以将其大部分光线朝向地面朝下投射以作为脚灯运转。例如，可包括符号80或其它特征，用于和发光条一起点亮或与发光条分开点亮、不点亮、或在地面上产生投射图像。线75穿过背板72以便于和LED（未显示）连接。接线器76将线75汇合至线束77和控制器78。
控制器78执行逻辑和驱动器功能以实现期望的发光性能。控制器78从车辆的车身模块或远程进入模块（未显示）接收照亮进入信号。例如当车辆用户按下无线远程钥匙79上的解锁按钮时可产生照亮进入信号。响应于照亮进入信号，控制器78驱动LED以提供高照明等级使其照亮车辆附近的地面以协助在较暗的环境照明状况下进入车辆。通过运转单元中的所有LED或以足以产生所需亮度等级的电压驱动LED，可实现高亮度等级。
响应于驾驶员操作的开关和/或其它车辆状况，控制器78还从车身模块或仪表盘模块（未显示）接收外部照明状态信号。外部照明状态信号指示重点照明的使用。响应于重点照明的请求，控制器78以较低照明等级激活LED的方式驱动LED，该方式可通过驱动所有LED中的一部分或以减小的电压驱动LED而实现。为了视觉上更满意的表现，控制器78通过增减驱动信号的大小或增减LED的激活数量可逐渐使发光输出增加到期望的照明等级或从期望的照明等级减小。
图10显示了进一步的实施例，其中装饰件81具有一体化地包括杆状（或符号或其它任何形状）的导光装置的装饰主体82。装饰主体82包括安装块83和84以安装到车上。包括LED85和86的可变光源连接至控制器（未显示）。如上文所述，单向镜87覆盖装饰主体82。装饰件81适应于提供统一的光线分布。
图11显示了适用于产生图案化的光线分布的替代导光装置。所以，导光装置90包括多个分支例如91、92、93、94以及多个反射角例如95。多个LED97连接到各个分支，以便发出随后分布到所有分支的光线。为了在产生的图案中的多个标志之间提供间隙，也可提供遮盖区域98。

Claims (21)

1.一种用于车辆外表面的装饰件，其特征在于，包括：
由透光材料形成的用于连接至所述外表面的装饰主体，所述装饰主体具有内侧和外侧；
位于所述装饰主体的所述内侧的可变光源；以及
位于所述装饰主体的所述外侧的单向镜，所述单向镜具有在明亮环境照明状况下从所述装饰件外部看起来不透明的外观，其中所述单向镜传输来自所述可变光源的光线穿过所述单向镜；
所述可变光源提供第一照明等级用于在较暗的环境照明状况下突出所述车辆的外表面；并且
所述可变光源提供高于所述第一照明等级的第二照明等级以照亮所述车辆附近的地面从而在较暗的环境照明状况下辅助进入车辆。
2.根据权利要求1所述的装饰件，其特征在于，所述可变光源由多个发光组件构成，所述多个发光组件连接至透明导光装置以将所述光线分配至所述单向镜上。
3.根据权利要求2所述的装饰件，其特征在于，所述发光组件由LED构成。
4.根据权利要求2所述的装饰件，其特征在于，在所述单向镜上的光线分布基本一致。
5.根据权利要求2所述的装饰件，其特征在于，从所述装饰件传输的光线的分布具有图案。
6.根据权利要求5所述的装饰件，其特征在于，包括与所述图案一致的喷涂表面。
7.根据权利要求2所述的装饰件，其特征在于，所述发光组件中的一部分保持关闭以提供所述第一照明等级。
8.根据权利要求2所述的装饰件，其特征在于，所述发光组件接收驱动信号并且产生与所述驱动信号成比例的光线输出。
9.根据权利要求1所述的装饰件，其特征在于，所述单向镜包括层压膜，所述层压膜包括至少一层金属化的聚酯膜和用于将所述层压膜固定在所述装饰主体上的粘合层。
10.根据权利要求9所述的装饰件，其特征在于，所述层压膜进一步包括染色的聚酯层。
11.根据权利要求1所述的装饰件，其特征在于，所述单向镜包括施加在所述装饰主体的所述外侧的部分反射涂层。
12.根据权利要求1所述的装饰件，其特征在于，进一步包括位于所述单向镜上的透明保护层。
13.根据权利要求1所述的装饰件，其特征在于，进一步包括连接至所述装饰主体的所述内侧的反射背板，所述可变光源位于所述反射背板和所述装饰主体的所述内侧之间。
14.根据权利要求13所述的装饰件，其特征在于，所述反射背板在朝向所述可变光源的表面上包括金属化层。
15.根据权利要求1所述的装饰件，其特征在于，所述装饰主体由透明塑料组成。
16.根据权利要求15所述的装饰件，其特征在于，所述装饰主体包括用于容纳所述可变光源的凹槽。
17.一种用于车辆的脚灯系统，其特征在于，包括：
由透光材料形成的连接至所述车辆的外表面的装饰主体，所述装饰主体具有内侧和外侧；
设置在所述装饰主体的所述内侧上的可变光源；
设置在所述装饰主体的所述外侧上的单向镜，具有在明亮环境照明状况下从装饰件外部看起来不透明的外观，其中所述单向镜传输来自所述可变光源的光线穿过所述单向镜；以及
驱动器，所述驱动器用于以第一照明等级激活所述可变光源以用于在较暗的环境照明状况下突出所述车辆的外表面，以及所述驱动器以高于所述第一照明等级的第二照明等级激活所述可变光源以照亮所述车辆附近的地面从而在较暗的环境照明状况下辅助进入车辆。
18.根据权利要求17所述的脚灯系统，其特征在于，所述车辆包括设有无线钥匙的远程进入系统，并且其中所述驱动器通过以所述第二照明等级驱动所述可变光源而响应所述无线钥匙的激活。
19.根据权利要求17的脚灯系统，其特征在于，所述车辆包括外部运行灯信号，并且其中所述驱动器通过以所述第一照明等级驱动所述可变光源而响应所述外部运行灯信号。
20.根据权利要求17的脚灯系统，其特征在于，所述驱动器逐渐将光线输出增加至所述第二照明等级或逐渐从所述第二照明等级减小。
21.一种车辆用装饰件，其特征在于，包括：
透光主体；
在所述主体内的光源；以及
阻止视线进入所述主体内部并且允许来自所述主体的所述光源的光线传出所述主体的单向镜；
所述光源提供用于突出所述车辆的外表面的第一照明等级，并且提供高于所述第一照明等级的第二照明等级以照亮所述车辆附近的地面从而辅助进入车辆。
