Abstract

Description
本发明涉及根据权利要求1的前述部分的用于在两阶段拉伸吹塑成型方法中生产塑料容器的预制件。
目前使用的大量塑料容器(特别是例如塑料烧瓶等)是利用拉伸吹塑成型方法生产的。在这种方法中,所谓的预制件在大多数情况下具有细长管状形状并且具有在其一个纵向端的基部和在其另一纵向端形成有螺纹部等的颈区,该预制件被插入吹塑成型的模腔中并通过超压注入的介质进行吹塑。在这种情况下,利用通过颈部开口插入的细长心轴使预制件在轴向上被额外伸长。在伸长/吹塑成型过程之后,将成品塑料容器从吹塑模具中脱模。
通常在拉伸吹塑成型过程之前利用单独的注塑成型工艺生产单层或多层的预制件。也已提出利用塑料挤压(plastic extrusion press)方法来生产预制件。在拉伸吹塑成型工艺中生产塑料容器的原料主要使用聚丙烯或PET(聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯)。聚丙烯和PET已测试多次并且它们的性质充分已知。在所谓的单级拉伸吹塑成型工艺中,预制件在制造后直接充气膨胀并伸长以形成塑料容器。然而,在许多情况下,塑料容器是利用生产地点和时间不同于拉伸吹塑成型过程的两阶段方法生产并且在中间阶段进行贮存供以后使用。在随后的拉伸吹塑成型过程中,预制件被再次加热,引入到吹塑模具中,利用细长的心轴在纵向方向上拉伸,并根据模腔通过超压充气膨胀以形成塑料容器。这样,这两个过程-注塑成型和拉伸吹塑成型-可以单独操作并得到优化。
用于拉伸吹塑成型方法的预制件通常具有细长的形状并具有向外弯曲的凸出基部。预制件的颈区已完全成型并具有螺纹部或类似的正向突起,这使它可以附着封闭物或覆盖物,所述封闭物或覆盖物配备有对应设计的锁紧元件。在该两阶段过程中,预制件必须在拉伸吹塑成型之前再次加热至变形温度范围。为此,在预制件的颈区中插入指状夹持装置并将预制件输送通过加热站。在许多情况下,预制件的加热是通过由石英管辐射器产生的红外辐射或近红外辐射进行的。为更好地利用石英管辐射器发射的能源,提供一个以上的反射镜来反射电磁辐射。在加热站中,预制件被输送在石英管辐射器和与其面对的镜之间。通过预制件的弹形基部,照射的红外辐射通过散射或甚至直接移动到预制件的指状夹持装置,该装置由此被加热。为了防止高精度成型的预制件的颈区发生变形,指状夹持装置必须冷却。因为吸收的辐射能量往往不能通过夹持装置冷却而排放至足够的程度,所以预制件颈往往必须设计为具有比待由预制件制造的塑料容器所必需的壁厚更大的壁厚。在拉伸吹塑成型期间,预制件利用细长心轴纵向拉伸。在具有细长心轴的预制件基部的支撑表面区域中,基部的冷却相对快速,并且在拉伸吹塑成型过程中生产的塑料容器的基部区域中可产生不期望的非晶材料积累。
由此,本发明的一个目的是弥补现有技术的预制件的这些缺点。提供一种预制件使其可以设计壁厚减少的颈区。在两阶段拉伸吹塑成型工艺用于形成塑料容器的预制件的进一步处理过程中,将避免在容器的基部区域中产生不期望的非晶材料积累。
这些和甚至进一步的目的根据本发明通过具有权利要求1中列出的技术特征的预制件得以实现。本发明的进一步发展以及有利和优选的变化实施方案是从属权利要求的主题。
本发明提出一种用于在两阶段拉伸吹塑成型工艺中生产塑料容器的预制件,并且所述预制件具有细长的预制件体,其一个纵向端被基部密封,其另一纵向端连接至具有螺纹部或类似的正向突起的颈区。所述预制件由适用于拉伸吹塑成型过程的塑料制成,其在10℃到120℃温度下的折射率为1.3至1.6。预制件基部设计为使得其外壁和其内壁限定平坦发散透镜。在这种情况下被设计为发散透镜的预制件基部的外壁和内壁的曲率半径是预制件体区域中相关的外壁和内壁的曲率半径的至少1.4倍。
结合预制件材料的折射率,配置预制件基部作为平坦发散透镜使得照射的电磁热辐射偏离指状夹持装置。通过根据本发明的预制件体配置,在预制件基部和预制件壁中承担吸收较大比例的引入电磁热辐射。因此,在预制件输送通过加热站期间,较少的辐射能量到达预制件的指状夹持装置,并且该夹持装置的受热显著减少。间接接触指状夹持装置的预制件的颈部因此也受热较少。因此,颈部变形的风险显著减少,并且颈部可以设计为具有较小的壁厚。在预制件颈部壁厚的减小导致昂贵原材料的减少。特别是在大规模生产诸如塑料容器的制品时,材料减少具有经济性或生态益处。
总体而言,根据本发明的设计得到平坦的预制件基部。因此,在拉伸过程中,首先只存在小区域来形成在前端具有小曲率半径的细长心轴和具有相对大的曲率半径的预制件基部之间的接触。只有在非常高的伸长速度和压力下以及朝向机械伸长过程的结束,该接触区域才增加。因此,预制件基部的局部冷却被限制在很小的区域,因此可以避免在所生产的塑料容器的基部区域中不期望的非晶材料积累。相反,预制件基部中的尚未冷却的塑料材料可用于吹塑成型过程的剩余部分。这也可以减少预制件基部中的材料。
在本发明的一个变化方案中,设计为在预制件的轴区域中或在发散透镜的中心区域的平坦发散透镜的预制件基部的壁厚比预制件体中过渡区域处的预制件基部的壁厚小至少0.2mm。
预制件基部配置为特别是使得基本垂直于预制件轴引入到基部区域中的0.5μm~2μm波长的电磁辐射通过在预制件的基部和/或坯体内的全反射而在很大程度上被吸收。因此确保非常少的电磁辐射到达指状夹持装置,并且与夹持装置接触的颈部不受到严重加热。通过在预制件基部和/或预制件体内吸收较大比例的所引入的热辐射,还增加预制件的加热效率。
预制件基部可以设计为平凹的或凹凸的。在这种情况下,术语“平”或“凸”涉及发生电磁辐射的第一表面,即预制件基部的外壁。术语“凹”涉及预制件基部的相反内壁。预制件基部的外壁的曲率半径大于在其基部区域中的预制件内壁的曲率半径。在平坦外壁设计的情况下,曲率半径是无限大。
根据本发明设计并提供用于在两阶段拉伸吹塑成型过程中的进一步加工的预制件有利的是由选自聚酯、PET(聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯)、聚烯烃、聚苯乙烯和PLA(聚乳酸)的塑料或塑料混合物构成。
根据本发明的预制件可以根据所提供的应用包括一个以上的层。它还可以包括阻挡添加剂,特别是氧捕集器、纳米粘土或紫外隔离剂。在本发明的另一变化实施方案中,包括多个层的预制件也可以具有用以对抗氧和/或紫外线辐射的阻挡层和/或滑动涂层和/或残留丢弃涂层(residualdiscard coating)。
根据本发明的预制件例如利用注塑方法生产。注塑方法或注射成型方法已被充分测试并且得到具有所需精度的预制件。在这种情况下,预制件的进料点适当的是位于基部区域中。在由预制件生产的塑料容器中,通常在展开位置中其通常是不可见的。
塑料挤压方法是预制件的替代生产方法,其也导致高品质的结果并且非常适合大规模生产。
根据本发明设计的预制件还可以利用挤出吹塑成型方法生产。这种近期使用程度增加的生产方法的特征在于其高生产能力和低生产成本,并且也特别适合包括多个层的预制件。多层预制件也可以利用所谓的“二次成型(overmolding)”方法生产。
根据本发明设计的预制件可以至少在合适位置提供有偏离常规预制件体的颜色或可在多层的变化实施方案中具有至少一个有色层。不同的颜色或颜色层也可以用于例如吸收-甚至更好,特别是在预制件材料中-在预制件被加热时引入的辐射能量。
在预制件的另一变化实施方案中,它也可以提供预制件的基部区域中的外壁具有比预制件体的外壁更大的粗糙度。增加的粗糙度也可用于在预制件材料中更好地吸收辐射能量。
相对于减少使用材料有利的一个预制件的变化实施方案具有颈部,所述颈部-在螺纹部或类似的正向突起的区域中-具有比预制件体区域的平均壁厚小至少20%的最小壁厚。
在本发明的另一变化实施方案中,在螺纹部或类似的正向突起的区域中特别是螺纹基部上,颈部具有小于1.34mm的最小壁厚。
利用两阶段拉伸吹塑成型过程由根据本发明设计的预制件制造的塑料容器在许多情况下具有比现有技术的常规塑料容器更好更均匀的材料分布,从而相对于机械应力和热应力具有更均匀的强度性能,例如在其中热分配内容物的应用中。

图1示意性示出预制件的轴向切开的半侧面,其在被输送通过加热站30的过程中整体上提供有附图标记1。预制件1具有细长的预制件体2,其一个纵向端被预制件基部3密封。其外侧上制有螺纹部5等的颈部4连接到预制件体2的相反端部。螺纹部5等允许配备有相应锁紧元件的封闭物或覆盖物螺纹接合。预制件1例如利用注塑法或挤压法生产。它也可以利用挤出吹塑成型方法生产。预制件1是两阶段拉伸吹塑成型过程的中间产品,其中首先生产预制件1,然后在不同的时间和地点,将预制件通过轴向拉伸和径向充气膨胀而重新成型以形成塑料容器。两阶段拉伸吹塑成型过程的优点在于预制件的生产和塑料容器的生产可以相互独立地进行并且在每种情况下具有最佳时钟速率。
为了使预制件1可以在拉伸吹塑成型装置中被拉伸并且通过超压进行充气膨胀,它首先必须被再次加热至拉伸吹塑成型过程所必需的温度。为此,其被输送通过一个或更多个加热站30。加热站30包括多个加热灯,通常是石英管辐射器31,其发射近红外和红外范围的电磁辐射R。发射辐射的波长范围为0.5μm~2μm。通常,几个石英管辐射器31布置为一个在另一个上方。提供面对石英管辐射器31的反射器装置32例如金属反射镜,其反射由石英管辐射器发射的电磁辐射。预制件1被输送通过在石英管辐射器31和反射器装置32之间的通道。为此,其头朝前地将颈部4塞在指状夹持装置35上,被连续或定时地通过加热站30。通常,在这种情况下,指状夹持装置35还仍然围绕其轴旋转,使得从所有侧面加热预制件1。指状夹持装置35在固定或可移动的隔板33下方移动,其设有用于预制件1的缝隙形开口34。隔板33用于防止来自石英管辐射器31或反射镜装置32的加热电磁辐射R移动到指状夹持装置35和预制件1的颈部4。在大多数情况下,指状夹持装置35还额外提供有冷却例如水冷却,以防止其被过度加热。因为这种加热,高精度制造并与指状夹持装置35间接接触的预制件1的颈部4可以被软化或变形。
因为隔板33,所以相对小的电磁辐射到达指状夹持装置35。但是,高度弹形预制件基部代表现有技术的预制件中的一个问题。这导致引入基部区域中的电磁加热辐射通过衍射和多重反射移动到指状夹持装置35并加热后者。为了解决这一问题,根据本发明的预制件1由适用于拉伸吹塑成型方法并且具有10℃到120℃温度下1.3至1.6的折射率的塑料制成。预制件基部3具有限定平坦发散透镜的内壁17和外壁18。为此,预制件基部3的内壁17和外壁18的曲率半径b、c是预制件体2的内壁7和外壁8的曲率半径r、s的至少1.4倍。在预制件1的轴A的区域中,同时形成发散透镜的中心,预制件基部3的壁厚比预制件体2的过渡区中的壁厚少至少0.2mm。特别地,预制件基部3设计为使得基本垂直于预制件轴A引入的波长为0.5μm~2μm的电磁辐射通过在预制件1的预制件基部3和/或预制件体2内的全反射而在很大程度上被吸收。
图2示出同样整体上标记为附图标记1的根据本发明的预制件轴向切开的半侧面图。一般为圆柱形的细长预制件体标记为附图标记2,并且预制件基部标记为3。与预制件体2相邻的颈部标记为附图标记4,并且螺纹部标记为附图标记5。预制件的轴提供有附图标记A,传送环6将颈部4与预制件体2分离。传送环6用于在拉伸吹塑成型装置的某些单元区中输送和支持预制件和由其生产的塑料容器。在预制件体2的区域中,预制件1具有内壁7和外壁8。在预制件体2的区域中的内壁7具有曲率半径r。预制件体2的外壁8具有标记为附图标记s的曲率半径。在预制件基部3的区域中,内壁具有附图标记17,外壁具有附图标记18。在预制件基部3的区域中的内壁17具有标记为b的曲率半径,在预制件基部3的区域中的外壁18具有标记为c的曲率半径。
预制件基部3根据平凹或凹凸的发散透镜类型进行设计。术语“平”或“凸”在这种情况下是指照射的电磁辐射轰击其上的第一表面,即在预制件基部3的外壁18上。术语“凹”涉及预制件基部3的相反的内壁17。预制件基部3的外壁18具有大于预制件体2的内壁17的曲率半径c。在预制件基部3的外壁18为平坦设计的情况下,曲率半径c是无限大。
由于根据本发明的预制件基部3的设计,照射在预制件基部3的区域中的大部分的波长为0.5μm~2μm的电磁辐射通过预制件1的预制件基部3和/或预制件体2的全反射或从预制件1的内壁向外再次反射而被吸收。全反射是随着从光密介质到光疏介质的过渡而发生。从光密介质(具有较高折射率n1的介质)传输到光疏介质(具有较低折射率n2的介质)的电磁辐射在入射轴的界面处根据Snellius折射定律脱离。电磁辐射(例如,红外辐射)的折射角大于入射角。如果入射角增加,则以一定角度开始的折射光束平行于界面行进。该临界角也是全反射角。全反射角作为arcsine(n2/n1)得到。由于根据本发明的预制件基部3的设计,平坦照射在基部区域中的大部分电磁辐射被吸收。
预制件基部3的平坦设计的优点也在于预制件基部3与细长心轴的相互作用。在拉伸吹塑成型期间,利用细长心轴将预制件1沿纵向伸长。细长心轴在其自由前端具有相对小的曲率半径,而预制件基部3的内壁17的曲率半径相对大。因此,在拉伸过程中,在预制件基部3和细长心轴之间只产生非常小的接触区域。因此,预制件基部3冷却到较低程度,并且在其中发现的塑料材料还可用于拉伸吹塑成型过程。

预制件1可以具有一个或更多个有色层和/或阻挡涂层和/或滑动涂层和/或残留丢弃涂层。
因为在输送通过加热站期间对指状夹持装置的较差加热,所以预制件1的颈部4也被加热到较低程度。因此,在颈部可以设计有比具有厚弹形基部的常规预制件更小壁厚。因此,可以使用其颈部在螺纹部或类似的正向突起区域中具有比预制件体区域中的平均壁厚小至少20%的最小壁厚w的预制件。
Claims (13)
1.一种用于在两阶段拉伸吹塑成型方法中生产塑料容器的预制件,其具有细长的预制件体(2),所述预制件体(2)的一个纵向端被预制件基部(3)密封,其另一纵向端连接至具有螺纹部(5)或类似的正向凸起的颈部(4),其特征在于,所述预制件(1)由适用于拉伸吹塑成型方法的塑料制成,其在10℃~120℃温度下的折射率为1.3至1.6,并且所述预制件基部(3)的外壁(18)和内壁(17)限定平坦发散透镜,并且在每种情况下其曲率半径(c、b)是在所述预制件体(2)区域中相关的所述预制件(1)的外壁(8)的曲率半径(s)和所述预制件(1)的内壁(7)的曲率半径(R)的至少1.4倍。
2.根据权利要求1所述的预制件,其中设计为平坦发散透镜的所述预制件基部(3)在所述预制件的轴(A)区域中的壁厚比过渡进入所述预制件体(2)的区域中的壁厚小至少0.2mm。
3.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的预制件,其中所述预制件的预制件基部(3)设计为平坦发散透镜,使得基本垂直于预制件的轴(A)引入的波长为0.5μm~2μm的电磁辐射(R)通过被全反射进入所述预制件基部(3)和/或进入所述预制件体(2)中而被显著吸收。
4.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的预制件,其中所述预制件由选自聚酯、PET、聚烯烃、聚苯乙烯和PLA中的塑料或塑料混合物制成。
5.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的预制件,其中所述预制件包括一个或更多个层。
6.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的预制件,其中所述预制件利用注塑方法生产,并且注射点位于所述预制件的所述基部(3)的区域中。
7.根据权利要求1~5中任一项所述的预制件,其中所述预制件利用塑料挤压方法生产。
8.根据权利要求1~5中任一项所述的预制件,其中所述预制件利用挤出吹塑成型方法生产。
9.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的预制件,其中所述预制件包括多个层并且具有至少一个有色层。
10.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的预制件,其中在所述预制件的基部区域中,所述预制件的外壁具有比所述预制件体的外壁更大的粗糙度。
11.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的预制件,其中在所述螺纹部(5)或类似的正向突起的区域中,所述颈部(4)具有比所述预制件体(2)的区域中的平均壁厚小至少20%的最小壁厚(w)。
12.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的预制件,其中在所述螺纹部(5)或类似的正向突起的区域中,特别是在螺纹基部上,所述颈部(4)具有小于1.34mm的最小壁厚。
13.一种塑料容器,其由根据权利要求1~12中任一项所述的预制件(1)在两阶段拉伸吹塑成型方法中制造。
