Abstract
本发明提出了一种用于减小VoIP通话从分组交换域切换到电路交换域时的中断时间的方法和装置,主要思想是在IMS层的会话切换过程和层2的小区切换过程这两者之间引入同步机制,使这两个切换过程同时或几乎同时开始。当MSC服务器接收到来自源MME的切换请求时,先计算出MSC服务器发送消息到达远端UE所需的时间,然后和预先设定的MSC服务器发送消息到达本地UE所需的时间进行比较。根据比较的结果,确定MSC服务器向SCC AS发送会话切换请求和向源MME发送小区切换请求的先后次序和时刻,并根据该先后次序和时刻发送上述两条请求,用于保证会话切换请求到达远端通信终端的时刻与小区切换请求到达本地通信终端的时刻是同时或几乎同时的。
