Description

用于密封管状塑料包装的方法和设备及其生成的包装
技术领域
本发明涉及利用塑料薄膜形成的软管的领域,本发明更特别地涉及利用薄膜形成的软管,其中通过添加软化的焊接线来焊接薄膜的端部。
背景技术
在专利申请WO2008/038206A2中描述了通过添加软化的塑料线进行焊接。在申请人提出的这个方法中,焊接线被挤出并被焊接到层压叠片的每个端部并充当所述端部之间的粘结剂。焊接线的温度足够高以确保其焊接到所述端部,所以不需要额外的能量输入。该方法的优点是改善了管的吸引力,因为线被应用到形成容器内表面的表面。另一个优点是设备与通常使用的高频率焊接设备相比的简单性。

在申请WO2008/038206A2中描述的和在图1至4中示出的方法和设备还具有其他缺陷,所述其他缺陷特别地由下列事实引起:软化的线在重力的作用下自然地向下流动。因而,线首先开始与焊棒的表面接触,或如果可应用的话,传送带构造在在焊棒中。在示出了图1中所示设备横截面的图2中,焊接线12在与层压叠片11接触之前被置于金属带3上。温度相对高的线与冷金属表面的这个首先接触对方法的操作有害,这是因为在与待焊接的层压叠片的边缘接触之前,线的温降低。这个意外的能量损失基本上降低了焊接的质量。
发明内容
本发明打算解决的问题在于改善利用软化的挤出线获得的焊接的质量。本发明还特别地用来补救上述缺点。
本发明首先涉及用于焊接管状塑料容器的方法,其至少包括下列操作:
●卷绕操作,其中卷绕层压叠片;
●定位操作,其中定位层压叠片的边缘;
●挤出操作,其中软化的塑料线被挤出并沉积在层压叠片的端部上;
●熔化操作,其中通过焊接线使所述端部熔化;
●压挤操作,其中沿两个方向共同挤压焊接区;
●焊接区的冷却操作。
所述熔化操作是本发明的关键,因为它用来使层压叠片端部的表面软化。由于焊接线的热能而获得层压叠片端部的熔化并且层压叠片端部的熔化以下列方式实施:
●线仅仅接触层压叠片的端部,
●操作的持续时间和焊接线的能量足以使所述端部软化。
所述压挤操作与熔化步骤同时或在熔化步骤之后,压挤操作包括:
●沿着层压叠片的垂直轴线非常迅速地压挤焊接线,
●和沿平行于层压叠片平面的方向共同挤压层压叠片的软化端部使其彼此压靠。
本发明的实施导致一种方法,该方法在于使线沿着平行于很可能与线接触的设备元件的方向移动。这样,在与层压叠片接触之前,线不会与元件例如焊棒或带接触。
本发明特征在于使线平行于焊接设备移动,焊接设备特别是焊棒、可选地是带移动,以使得线的第一次接触是与层压叠片接触。
本发明的一个特征在于执行焊接所需的所有能量都由塑料线产生。
根据发明的方法的第一备选方案,在定位步骤之前使线沉积。

容器包括焊接区,焊接区包括两个截然不同的部分:

当层压叠片包括多个层时,发明有利于改善焊接区中的层的连续性。因此,这些容器的阻隔性质得到改善,并改善了焊接区的吸引力。
发明的备选方案在于使用了通过使层压叠片的端部重叠来执行焊接的方法。在这种情况下,焊接线位于打算重叠的层压叠片的端部的分界面处。熔化操作用来使所述端部软化。
在层压叠片在其厚度上包括一减慢热扩散的层例如铝层或纸层的情况下,使用例如通过接触来预热边缘的设备可能是有利的,这具有升高层压叠片两个边缘的温度的效果,从而帮助或改善焊接条件。
根据发明的备选方案,偏斜地切割层压叠片的边缘,这具有增大焊接区中层压叠片的侧面接触面积的效果,这种构形也影响焊接的质量和强度。
发明的另一个备选方案在于使用共挤的塑料线(在线的中心具有阻隔材料),还在层压叠片的边缘之间限定的区域中保证了对管的外部环境的良好的阻隔保护。

具体实施方式
发明的方法在于利用包含在焊接线中的能量来:
●将线焊接到层压叠片的端部,
●使层压叠片的端部互相焊接。
因而焊接区包括两个截然不同的部分,第一个由线-层压叠片分界面形成,第二个由层压叠片-层压叠片分界面形成。
发明的方法至少包括下列操作:
●卷绕层压叠片以形成管状体,
●定位层压叠片的端部,
●挤出焊接条并将其沉积在所述端部上,
●利用所述条的能量使所述端部熔化,
●压挤焊接区,
●冷却焊接区,
●将管状体切割成同样长度的圆柱形元件。
在图7和8中示出了发明的方法的关键步骤。图7表示熔化操作,其中焊接线的部分能量传递到层压叠片以使待焊接的端部软化。软化的挤出焊接线12与层压叠片11的端部接触,线和层压叠片之间的分界面15具有减小的面积以便仅仅加热待焊接的端部。在所述熔化操作期间,焊接线12仅仅与层压叠片11的端部接触。根据本发明的优选实施例,层压叠片11的端部在熔化操作期间仅仅与焊接线12接触。在熔化操作期间没有与焊接线12和层压叠片端部的外部接触是本发明的关键特征。熔化操作的持续时间取决于层压叠片的厚度和焊接线的温度与质量,熔化操作的持续时间一般比0.1秒长并且焊接线的温度高于熔点至少50℃。一般试图减小焊接线的质量以减小焊接的厚度以及容器的成本,最佳质量是焊接线在熔化操作期间必须包含的最小能量、将被减小的焊接厚度和,最后地,焊接区的性质之间的折衷的结果。这些参数可由本领域技术人员调节。当层压叠片11是多层的层压叠片时,使所有的层软化并非总是可能的和有用的。在这种情况下,焊接线12供应的能量用来使适合于对焊的层软化。一般,构成焊接线的树脂是与层压叠片的焊接层相同类型的。焊接线12选择下列树脂是有利的,该树脂的熔点等于或高于构成层压叠片的焊接层的树脂的熔点。例如,使用高密度聚乙烯焊接线有利于制造具有包括多层低密度聚乙烯的层压叠片的管。熔化操作可以在压挤操作之前或与其同时进行。
可能出现下列情况:层压叠片在其厚度上包含减慢焊接线和层压叠片焊接层之间的热传递的层。例如,已经观察到铝层或纸层相当大地减慢热传递。有时候使位于层压叠片上表面附近的层软化变得困难,因为焊接线位于下表面上。为了克服这个困难,可以考虑在熔化操作期间向层压叠片的外表面添加热源。在这种情况下,通过接触或通过热空气加热上表面是有利的。
与熔化操作接连地或同时,压挤焊接区。在图8中示出的压挤操作在于:
●减小焊接线的厚度并挤压层压叠片11和焊接线12之间的软化的分界面15,
●减小端部之间的间隔14并挤压层压叠片11的软化的端部之间的分界面16。
在压挤操作期间,沿着被称为垂直的方向和被称为横向的方向共同挤压焊接区10。垂直方向垂直于由焊接区形成的平面,被称为横向的方向平行于由焊接区形成的平面并垂直于焊接轴。垂直压力减小焊接线10的厚度并增加焊接线12和层压叠片11之间的焊接分界面的粘合力。通过与层压叠片外表面接触的外部压力元件17和与焊接线接触的内部压力元件18提供垂直压力,由压挤元件17和18施加的压挤力19使焊接线的厚度减小并使其展开。压挤操作必须是非常迅速的以避免冷却焊接区10,冷却焊接区将会防止线12的压碎并将导致线和层压叠片之间的焊接分界面15质量差。在垂直压挤之前、与垂直压挤共同地或在垂直压挤之后,在应用到层压叠片上的横向压挤力20的作用下,焊接区被横向挤压。横向压挤力20将层压叠片的边缘带到一起并在焊接分界面16处挤压层压叠片11的软化边缘,这个横向压挤改善了分界面16处的焊接的粘合力。横向压挤力20具有低强度并且通过层压叠片传输到分界面16。分界面16的压挤具有基本上增加焊接区强度的作用并改善了焊接区中层压叠片的阻隔性质的连续性。
图9表示方法的对焊。焊接区10具有两个截然不同的焊接区:
●线12和层压叠片11下侧之间的分界面15,
●层压叠片的端部之间的分界面16。
与利用现有技术中描述的方法和设备获得的焊接相反,层压叠片11的端部之间的分界面16被焊接。阻隔层的端部之间的距离短于60微米,优选地短于30微米。因此,容器的性质得到改善,也就是说:
●在焊接区的阻隔和机械性质的更好的连续性,
●较低的焊接厚度。
与现有技术的焊接相比,可以减小焊接的厚度21。根据本发明的焊接的厚度21有利地低于两倍的层压叠片厚度。优选地,该厚度低于1.8倍的层压叠片厚度。
图10表示根据本发明的设备。在横越成形模4从上到下拉一条层压叠片11的情况下,通过焊棒1在整个圆周上的逐渐包封来连续地形成管。然后通过将软化的挤出塑料线12沉积在管内侧来纵向地焊接PE或PP(或其他材料)(单层或多层)的层压叠片11。如图10中所示,焊棒1垂直地定位。这样,同样垂直移动的线12不与棒1接触而是直接与层压叠片11接触。
设备包括用于执行方法的熔化操作的被称为熔化区的区22。根据层压叠片的厚度和层压叠片的行进速度来确定区22的长度。在熔化区22中,层压叠片的端部和软化的焊接线12保持接触。线12和层压叠片的端部在熔化区22中与设备的元件没有其他接触。
设备包括用于执行压挤操作的被称为压挤区的区23,因为压挤操作的持续时间必须短,所以区23较短。在区23中,沿着被称为垂直的方向和被称为横向的方向共同挤压焊接区。在图10中示出了挤压焊接线12并使其展开的垂直压挤。焊接区被挤压在支承垫5和整形模2之间,支承垫5向层压叠片的外表面施加压力,整形模2向焊接线施加压力。压挤区23短,所以压挤操作的持续时间短。可以使用与图10中所示装置不同的许多其他压挤装置。当构成焊接线12或层压叠片外表面的树脂在压挤工具上引起沉积时,压辊可能是有利的。压挤工具优选地被冷却。另一种备选方案是使用以与层压叠片相同的速度行进且在压挤时与焊接区接触的带。该备选方案用来避免在压挤和冷却操作期间在焊接区和工具之间的摩擦。一些设备使用位于焊接的外或内表面上的单个传送带。其他设备具有位于焊接区两侧上并仅仅在压挤操作时与所述焊接区接触的两个带。图10中所示的设备还施加了横向压挤力,其挤压层压叠片的软化边缘。横向压力由成形模4施加,成形模4在压挤区中的几何形状具有轻轻挤压层压叠片端部的作用。有利地,在压挤区中,成形模4的直径稍小于由层压叠片11外表面形成的管状体的直径。
设备包括用于执行冷却操作的被称为冷却区的区24。在该区中,焊接部在支承垫5和整形模2之间被冷却。在冷却区中,也可以添加元件以改善所生产的管的圆度。冷却区24的长度一般被减小,因为被加热的区域是局部的。根据层压叠片的厚度、焊接线的厚度和层压叠片的行进速度来调节区24的长度。
图11表示在熔化区22处的设备横截面,图11表示软化的焊接线12仅仅与层压叠片11的端部接触。焊接线12不与棒1和成形模4接触。不但在管状体的生产期间,而且在开始和停止阶段期间,设备的垂直定位都特别有利于避免焊接线12与工具的任何接触。
图12至14表示发明的备选方案,其中层压叠片的端部被重叠地焊接。
图12表示在被称为熔化的操作时的方法。在熔化操作期间,焊接线12位于层压叠片11的重叠端部之间。线12的部分能量传递到所述端部以使它们软化。
图13表示被称为压挤的操作,在该操作期间,垂直于层压叠片的表面施加压挤力19。该压挤力具有减小线12厚度和覆盖层压叠片11端部的作用。
图14表示根据本发明执行的重叠焊接。焊接区10的厚度21小于两倍的层压叠片厚度,优选地小于1.8倍的层压叠片11厚度。焊接线12在焊接的边缘处覆盖层压叠片的边缘。
软化的共挤焊接线(在线的中心具有阻隔材料)的使用足以改善焊接区处的阻隔保护。

Claims (20)

1.用于焊接管状塑料容器的方法,其至少包括下列操作:
a.卷绕操作,其中卷绕层压叠片(11);
b.定位操作,其中使所述层压叠片(11)的端部(8,9)彼此相邻地定位;
c.挤出操作,其中软化的树脂线(12)被挤出并沉积在所述端部(8,9)上;
d.熔化操作,其中通过所述线(12)使所述端部(8,9)熔化;
e.压挤操作,其中压挤焊接区(10);
f.冷却操作,其中焊接部被冷却。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述端部(8,9)彼此相邻地定位。
3.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述端部(8,9)彼此上下定位。
4.如前述权利要求中任一个所述的方法,其特征在于在所述熔化操作期间,所述线(12)仅仅与所述端部(8,9)接触。
5.如前述权利要求中任一个所述的方法,其中所述熔化操作的持续时间比0.1秒长。
6.如前述权利要求中任一个所述的方法,其中通过所述线和第二热源共同执行所述熔化操作。
7.如前述权利要求中任一个所述的方法,其特征在于在所述压挤操作期间,沿着垂直方向和横向方向朝着所述端部(8,9)的方向共同挤压所述焊接区(10)。
8.如前述权利要求中任一个所述的方法,其特征在于在所述压挤操作期间,所述线(12)展开且所述焊接区(10)的厚度减小。
9.如前述权利要求中任一个所述的方法,其特征在于在所述压挤操作期间,将所述端部(8,9)彼此压靠。
10.如前述权利要求中任一个所述的方法,其特征在于在所述挤出操作期间,所述线(12)沿着与支撑所述层压叠片(11)的设备元件平行的方向移动,以使得一旦被挤出,所述线(12)的第一次接触是直接与所述层压叠片(11)接触。
11.如权利要求9所述的制造方法,其中所述线(12)沿重力的方向垂直地移动。
12.如前述权利要求中任一个所述的方法,其特征在于在所述定位操作期间沉积所述线(12)。
13.如权利要求1至10中任一个所述的方法,其特征在于在所述定位操作之后沉积所述线(12)。
14.通过前述权利要求中任一个所限定的方法获得的管状容器。
15.如权利要求14所述的容器,其特征在于在焊接处,其厚度小于两倍的层压叠片(11)厚度。
16.用于执行如权利要求1至12中任一个所限定的方法的设备,包括适合被层压叠片(11)包围的焊棒(1),用于挤出软化的塑料线(12)并将其置于所述焊棒(1)的外表面和位于所述棒(1)周围的层压叠片(11)之间的装置(7),其特征在于所述焊棒被垂直地定位。
17.如权利要求15所述的设备,还包括预热的传送带(3),其位于所述焊棒(1)上以使得所述软化的线(12)位于所述传送带(3)和包围所述棒(1)的层压叠片(11)之间。
18.如权利要求16和17中任一个所述的设备,包括外传动带(6)和可调节的支承垫(5),其如此定位以便沿所述焊棒(1)的方向对位于所述传动带(6)与所述焊棒(1)之间的层压叠片(11)和软化塑料线(12)施加压力。
19.如权利要求16至18中任一个所述的设备,其中用于挤出和定位软化塑料线(12)的所述装置(7)位于所述焊棒(1)的上表面侧上。
20.如权利要求16至19中任一个所述的设备,其中用于挤出和定位软化塑料线(12)的所述装置(7)位于所述焊棒(1)的下表面侧上。
