技术领域

背景技术

本发明易于修改。例如,面罩16可被除去,或者喷雾器直接安装至已存在的连续或半连续或间歇运行的呼吸器/喷雾系统。喷雾器也可以是通过如在图6和7中描述的感测患者的潮式呼吸而触发性的开启和关闭,并相对于一次或多次呼吸运行。如图7中所示,吸入和/或呼出周期被感测,且气雾剂产生器被开启短暂的持续时间,随后一定数量的追随空气(chase air)承载或伴随颗粒进入患者。当吸入量低且吸入周期短时,确保肺部沉积的足够数量的追随空气是必要的。任何可被用于测量或确定吸入和呼出策略在特性方面的差别的传感器或传感器的组合能用于同步并开启和关闭气雾剂产生器。用于检测患者吸入/呼出的传感器的例子是流量传感器、压力传感器、测量吸入和呼出呼吸之间的温度差的温度传感器、测量吸入和呼出呼吸之间气体组分标高差距的二氧化碳或氧化氮或其它气体传感器,和物理测量系统比如测量胸腔膨胀和收缩的胸带等能用于这样的目的。其它一些改变仍旧是可能的。例如可提供激活的可视、可听或可触知的指示装置和剂量的状态的反馈给患者或护理人员,包括例如可视或可听装置,如在美国专利7,343,914中所教导的,其内容通过引用被合并到此处。同样,如果希望的话,用于控制或同步振动元件的电子通讯设备也可被提供用于连接该装置至与患者连接的设备。如果希望的话,输送给患者的剂量或数量也可通过计算和控制振动元件的定时或脉冲激活数来决定。动物或动画图像也可印刷在面罩16的内表面48上,从而使得器械对于儿童患者是更友好的,或者装置反馈系统,例如光和声音以及振动可被用于该目的。
同样,尽管本发明被描述特别地用于治疗哮喘和COPD的药物,本发明用于其它药物的输送也是有优势的,包括但不限于包括但不限于治疗病毒的抗病毒药,病毒包括但不限于RSV,和抗菌素、抗真菌药和治疗肺部感染和其它疾病的抗传染药,或者治疗肺癌的药物。
其它的改变也是可能的。例如,与仅通过控制颗粒大小的较低的呼吸道截然相反,控制输送给鼻道的药物的数量是可能的。其它的改变仍旧是可能的。

Claims (48)

1.一种输送药物至婴幼儿和呼吸功能失调患者的装置,包含在其中限定气雾化药物可被引入的气雾剂室的壳体;
所述室的出口;
至少部分地围绕出口的面罩;
用于气雾化药物并引导药物进入室的喷雾器。
2.根据权利要求1的装置,进一步包含微处理器和振动元件的控制器。
3.根据权利要求1的装置,其特征在于,所述的药物从剂量控制罩板包装中引入。
4.根据权利要求1的装置,其特征在于,进一步包含控制震动元件的计时器。
5.根据权利要求1的装置,进一步包含与连接于患者的各种医院设备连接的电子通讯设备,其用来控制或同步振动元件。
6.根据权利要求1的装置,其特征在于,所输送的剂量的数量通过振动元件的定时或脉冲激活数来确定。
7.根据权利要求1的装置,进一步包含指示装置和剂量状态的对患者或护理人员是激活的可视、可听或可触知的反馈。
8.根据权利要求1的装置,其特征在于,所述药物包含干燥粉末。
9.根据权利要求1的装置,其特征在于,所述的药物包含溶解或悬浮在液体介质中的药物制剂。
10.根据权利要求1的装置,进一步包含测量固定面罩至患者的质量的压力传感器。
11.根据权利要求1的装置,其特征在于,所述面罩由弹性可变形材料形成。
12.根据权利要求1的装置,其特征在于,吸入和/或呼出周期被感测,并且所述喷雾器同步于患者的潮式呼吸而启动和关闭。
13.根据权利要求12的装置,其特征在于,吸入和/或呼出使用从流量传感器、压力传感器、温度传感器、气体传感器和胸带组成的组中选择的传感器感测。
14.一种输送药物至婴幼儿和呼吸功能失调患者的装置,包含在其中限定气雾化药物可被引入的气雾剂室的壳体;
所述室的出口;
连接于出口的鼻套管;和
用于气雾化药物并引导药物进入室的喷雾器。
15.根据权利要求14的装置,进一步包含微处理器和振动元件的控制器。
16.根据权利要求14的装置,其特征在于,所述的药物从剂量控制罩板包装中引入。
17.根据权利要求14的装置,进一步包含用于控制振动元件的计时器。
18.根据权利要求14的装置,进一步包含与连接于患者的各种医院设备连接的电子通讯设备,其用来控制或同步震动元件。
19.根据权利要求14的装置,其特征在于,所输送的剂量的数量通过振动元件的定时或脉冲激活数来确定。
20.根据权利要求14的装置,进一步包含指示装置和剂量状态的对患者或护理人员是激活的可视、可听或可触知的反馈。
21.根据权利要求14的装置,其特征在于,所述药物包含干燥粉末。
22.根据权利要求14的装置,其特征在于,所述的药物包含溶解或悬浮在液体介质中的药物制剂。
23.根据权利要求14的装置,其特征在于,吸入和/或呼出周期被感测,并且所述喷雾器同步于患者的潮式呼吸而启动和关闭。
24.根据权利要求23的装置,其特征在于,吸入和/或呼出使用从流量传感器、压力传感器、温度传感器、气体传感器和胸带组成的组中选择的传感器感测。
25.一种输送药物至婴幼儿和呼吸功能失调患者的装置,包含在其中限定气雾化药物可被引入的气雾剂室的壳体;

用于气雾化药物并引导药物进入室的喷雾器。
