本发明的变色组合物包含以变色组合物总重量计含量为2%至50%的表面活性剂。希望地,本发明的变色组合物包含以变色组合物总重量计含量为10%至30%的表面活性剂。关于不同类型的表面活性剂的相对量,带电荷的表面活性剂与中性表面活性剂的比例可以为0.2至10。

当变色组合物的组分成形为基材上的印刷层时,它们必须首先溶解或悬浮在随后蒸发的有机溶剂中。变色组合物形成基材上的印刷层即得到本发明的多部件材料。有机溶剂可以是单独的有机溶剂或溶剂的混合物。负载变色组合物的适合的溶剂包括乙醇、异丙醇、丙酮、甲醇、乙腈、四氢呋喃、苯和甲苯。本发明有益应用的实例是将变色组合物施用于被用作一次性吸收制品的部件的无纺基材。更具体地,无纺基材可以为用于形成一次性尿布的外罩的纺粘材料或其它无纺材料。基材还可以是聚乙烯膜,所述聚乙烯膜附着在无纺材料上以形成一次性尿布的外罩。本发明的印刷层可以形成在无纺基材或其它膜上。由于本发明的变色组合物在室温下是流体,因此它们可以轻易地通过印刷至基材来施用。由于吸收制品如一次性尿布的外罩通常邻近制品的吸收结构,因此当使用最终产品时,将变色组合物施用于接近吸收结构的部件。因此,变色组合物可以被用于指示吸收结构状况的变化,如潮湿。
本发明的变色组合物的一个实例为包含丙烯酸酯和辛基丙烯酰胺的共聚物体系作为水不溶性成膜聚合物的组合物,这种聚合物可以有助于着色剂对基材的粘附性且为湿润性提供耐水性。本发明的变色组合物的另一个实例为包含带有酰胺官能团的聚氨酯粘结剂作为水不溶性成膜聚合物的组合物,这种水不溶性成膜聚合物可以溶解在醇中用于施用于基材(醇随后蒸发)。本发明的变色组合物是水可湿润的以使得着色剂组分迅速地改变颜色,但本发明的变色组合物还是水不溶性的以防止着色剂浸出。这些都是希望的性质属性。
以下为说明本发明各方面的各种实施例:
示例性变色组合物和多部件材料#1的制备:
作为本发明的实例的变色组合物包括2.5ml具有有机溶剂基的胶版印刷清漆的形成基质的组分。组合物还包括量为15mg/ml的着色剂溴甲酚绿以及量为20mg/ml的表面活性剂苄索氯铵(benzethenium chloride)。组合物包含pH调节剂:量为200mg/ml的低分子量的有机酸柠檬酸和量为200mg/ml的高分子量的有机酸聚丙烯酸。将着色剂、表面活性剂和pH调节剂组合在一起并且溶解在3ml的乙醇中。然后将溶液通过旋流与形成基质的组分混合直到形成均匀的溶液。
用一次性泡沫刷将250μl的变色组合物刷涂在一片聚丙烯膜材料上以形成薄膜来制备多部件材料(例如,将用于形成一次性吸收制品的外罩)。在环境条件下将膜干燥2小时以形成黄色。为了确保变色组合物起到希望的作用,一滴水或合成的尿液或真实的尿液使黄色在5分钟内变成蓝色。
示例性变色组合物和多部件材料#2的制备:
作为本发明的实例的变色组合物包括2.5ml具有有机溶剂基的胶版印刷清漆的形成基质的组分。组合物包括量为15mg/ml的着色剂溴甲酚绿。组合物还包括量为150mg/ml的表面活性剂苄索氯铵(benzetheniumchloride)和量为50mg/ml的中性表面活性剂Tween40。组合物包含pH调节剂:量为200mg/ml的低分子量的有机酸柠檬酸和量为200mg/ml的高分子量的有机酸聚丙烯酸。将着色剂、表面活性剂和pH调节剂组合在一起并且溶解在3ml的乙醇中。然后将溶液通过旋流与形成基质的组分混合直到形成均匀的溶液。
用一次性泡沫刷将250μl的变色组合物刷涂在一片聚丙烯膜材料上以形成薄膜来制备多部件材料(例如,将用于形成一次性吸收制品的外罩)。在环境条件下将膜干燥2小时以形成黄色。为了确保变色组合物起到希望的作用,一滴水或合成的尿液或真实的尿液使黄色在5分钟内变成蓝色。
本发明的多部件材料和变色组合物的稳定性测试
为了评价稳定性,将变色组合物刷涂在膜材料上,例如将被用作一次性吸收制品的部分外罩(例如,具有碳酸钙的高透气性膜)。将具有变色组合物的膜材料在40℃、75%湿度的烘箱中培育1天至2周的时间。然后将膜材料每天取出一次,将得到的颜色与原始的颜色进行视觉上的比较。并且视觉检测且定性地比较在与合成尿液或水或真实的尿液样品相接触时的响应速度和颜色变化。
含有不同量的pH调节剂的变色组合物之间稳定性的比较
制备5个变色组合物的样品。每个组合物包含2.5ml的具有有机溶剂基的胶版印刷清漆、200mg的苄索氯铵(0.5ml,在乙醇中)、15mg的溴甲酚绿(0.75ml)和不同量的聚丙烯酸(高分子量的有机酸)和柠檬酸(低分子量的有机酸):(1)样品1含有200mg的聚丙烯酸(1ml)和200mg的柠檬酸(1ml);(2)样品2含有300mg的聚丙烯酸(1.5ml)和100mg的柠檬酸(0.5ml);(3)样品3含有400mg的聚丙烯酸(2ml)和0mg的柠檬酸(0ml);(4)样品4含有0mg的聚丙烯酸(0ml)和400mg的柠檬酸(2ml);和(5)样品5含有100mg的聚丙烯酸(0.5ml)和300mg的柠檬酸(1.5ml)。将各个样品刷涂在℃lopay 1652聚丙烯膜上并且进行空气干燥以形成黄色。当用合成尿液润湿时,黄色在10分钟内变成蓝色(各个样品类似;有些样品在不到1分钟内就会改变颜色)。如上所述,然后将样品在40℃、75%湿度的烘箱中培育2天来对比没有合成尿液污损物的颜色变化的稳定性。样品1、2和5相比于样品3和4变成更浅的绿或更浅的蓝。明显地,既含有高分子量的有机酸(聚丙烯酸)又含有低分子量的有机酸(柠檬酸)的组合物比要么含有聚丙烯酸或要么含有柠檬酸的组合物更稳定(即,不太可能在潮湿的环境下经历过早的颜色变化)。

Claims (20)
1.一种多部件材料,所述材料包括:
基材和基材上的印刷层,其中,所述印刷层包含变色组合物,所述变色组合物包含:
形成基质的组分;
着色剂;
表面活性剂;和
pH调节剂,其中,所述pH调节剂包括低分子量的有机酸和高分子量的有机酸。
2.权利要求1所述的多部件材料,其中,所述pH调节剂包括1-20%的低分子量的有机酸和1-20%的高分子量的有机酸。
3.权利要求1所述的多部件材料,其中,所述pH调节剂具有0.02至50的低分子量的有机酸对高分子量的有机酸的比例。
4.权利要求1所述的多部件材料,其中,所述低分子量的有机酸选自乳酸、氨基酸、抗坏血酸、乙醇酸、水杨酸、酒石酸、柠檬酸、EDTA、丙醇二酸和马来酸。
5.权利要求1所述的多部件材料,其中,所述高分子量的有机酸选自聚丙烯酸、聚甲基丙烯酸以及含有丙烯酸、甲基丙烯酸或者丙烯酸和甲基丙烯酸两者的共聚物。
6.权利要求1所述的多部件材料,其中,所述形成基质的组分含有以重量计大于0.5%的极性原子。
7.权利要求1所述的多部件材料,其中,所述形成基质的组分选自水不溶性成膜聚合物以及含有有机溶剂的胶版印刷清漆。
8.权利要求1所述的多部件材料,其中,所述水不溶性成膜聚合物选自丙烯酸酯/丙烯酰胺共聚物、聚氨酯粘结剂、甲基纤维素以及乙烯吡咯烷酮和二甲基氨基丙基甲基丙烯酰胺的共聚物。
9.权利要求1所述的多部件材料,其中,所述表面活性剂包括带电荷的表面活性剂和中性表面活性剂。
10.权利要求1所述的多部件材料,其中,所述着色剂为pH指示剂。
11.权利要求1所述的多部件材料,其中,所述着色剂为聚合着色剂。
12.权利要求10所述的多部件材料,其中,所述pH指示剂选自溴甲酚绿、溴苯酚蓝和溴氯苯酚蓝、甲基橙、四溴苯酚蓝、乙基橙、刚果红、甲基红和诱惑红AR。
13.权利要求1所述的多部件材料,其中,所述变色组合物包含多于一种着色剂。
14.权利要求1所述的多部件材料,其中,所述基材为无纺材料。
15.权利要求1所述的多部件材料,其中,所述基材为聚烯烃膜。
16.权利要求15所述的多部件材料,其中,所述聚烯烃膜包含碳酸钙。
17.一种包括作为外罩的部分的权利要求1所述的多部件材料的一次性吸收制品。
18.权利要求1所述的多部件材料,其中,所述印刷层以一种或多种图案形成在基材上,所述图案选自条状、点状、几何形状、不规则形状、字母-数字字符形、人形图像、动物的图像表示、无生命物体的图像表示、卡通形象、标识和商标。
19.一种多部件材料,所述材料包括:
基材和基材上的印刷层,其中所述印刷层包含变色组合物,所述变色组合物包含:
20%至95%的形成基质的组分;
2%至50%的着色剂;
0.1%至10%的表面活性剂;和
0.1%至20%的pH调节剂,其中所述pH调节剂包括低分子量的有机酸和高分子量的有机酸。
20.一种包含多部件材料的一次性吸收制品,所述材料包括:基材和基材上的印刷层,其中所述印刷层包含变色组合物,所述变色组合物包含:
20%至90%的形成基质的组分;
0.5%至5%的着色剂;
10%至30%的表面活性剂;和
0.5%至5%的pH调节剂,其中所述pH调节剂包括低分子量的有机酸和高分子量的有机酸。
