Abstract

本发明涉及一种陶瓷辊棒等静压成型方法。其方法是通过挤管机把胚料挤压到金属管上,然后套上橡胶套,密封两端,经加压、卸压脱模而成,其胚料由精选高岭土20~40%、刚玉砂20~40%、a氧化铝20~40%、熟料5~15%、水12~22%和外加1~4%甲基纤维素组成。用此法及其胚料组合物制成的陶瓷辊棒胚体,不易变形,密度均匀,收缩性小,经等静压后煅烧成品率达80%以上,抗弯强度、体积密度、直线度等优于采用其他方法及胚料组合物所制成的陶瓷辊棒。

Description

本发明涉及一种陶瓷辊棒等静压成型方法。
生产陶瓷辊棒的方法不同,所用胚料的组成往往各有所异。传统的挤压法、注浆法生产的陶瓷辊棒,其胚料的组成不适合于本发明所述的等静压成形法。
本发明的目的是提供一种简便的陶瓷辊棒等静压成形方法,以及适用于这种特定方法的胚料组合物。
陶瓷辊棒的等静压成形法,是指将陶瓷辊棒的胚体置于特制的模具中,放入以油为介质的高压釜中加压。本发明所述的陶瓷辊棒等静压成形法是这样实现的:通过挤管机把胚料挤压到一根不锈钢管做成的内模上(亦可用其它金属管代替),使胚料形成一管形胚体,然后才套上耐油橡胶外模,用密封塞密封两端后,再置入高压釜中加压,经卸压脱模后即可成批置入窑炉中煅烧成产品。附图1为挤压在内模(1)上的管形胚体;附图2为此种陶瓷辊棒等静压成形方法的示意图。图中箭头所指方向表示加压,(1)为内模,(2)为外模,(3)为密封塞,(4)为管形胚体,(5)为密封塞的斜面。
用上述等静压法生产陶瓷辊棒,除需要特制的模具外,还需要选用不同的胚料组合物。上述陶瓷辊棒等静压成型法在只有内模而没有外模定形的情况下把胚料均匀地挤压到不锈钢管上,并形成管形胚体,要求胚料有较稳定的成形度,已有的各种胚料组合物,均不能令人满意地满足这一要求。
本发明的胚料由精选高岭土、刚玉砂、a氧化铝、熟料、水和甲基纤维素等混合组成。其规格为:精选高岭土250~350目,刚玉砂60~120目,a为氧化铝3~15μ,熟料20~80目。熟料为报废的陶瓷辊棒研磨成粉而成,加入适量的熟料可起减少陶瓷辊棒胚体收缩与变形的作用。上述胚料的组成比为(重量%),精选高岭土20~40%,刚玉砂20~40%,a氧化铝20~40%,熟料5~15%,水12~22%,外加1~4%的甲基纤维素。
下面结合实施例对本发明作进一步的说明。
取300目的精选高岭土230kg,100目的刚玉砂250kg,8μ的a氧化铝220kg,60目的熟料120kg,水180kg,另外加入20kg的甲基纤维素。用搅拌机搅匀后即可作为陶瓷辊棒等静压成形胚料。
用本发明所述的陶瓷辊棒等静压成形法及其胚料组合物成形的陶瓷辊棒,具有收缩性小、密度均匀、不易变形等优点;经等静压加压后煅烧,其成品率达80%以上,抗弯强度、体积密度、直线度等也优于采用其他方法及胚料组合物所制成的陶瓷辊棒。而且成形方法简便,有利于大批量的生产。

Claims (2)

1、一种陶瓷辊棒等静压成形方法,其特征在于通过挤管机把胚料挤压到一根不锈钢管或其他金属管做成的内模(1)上,使胚料形成一管形胚体,然后才套上耐油橡胶外模(2)用密封塞(3)密封两端后,再置入高压釜中加压,卸压脱模后置入窑炉中煅烧。
2、根据权利要求1所述的陶瓷辊棒等静压成形方法,其特征在于胚料由250-350目的精选高岭土20-40%;60-120目的刚压砂20-40%;3-15μ的a氧化铝20-40%;20-80目的陶瓷辊棒熟料5-15%;水12-22%;外加甲基纤维素1-4%组成。
