由包装层压板形成包装容器的包装技术中,公知的是在包装容器形成之前或之中将包装层压板作为卷材提供。当进行诸如成型、密封、折叠等之类的最后加工(finishing)包装物的操作时,提供例如用于光学读取的引导标记以指导操作。这种引导标记有时被称为套准标记(register mark)。在包装层压板的印刷期间提供用于光学读取的套准标记,其中例如在将装饰或产品信息印刷在包装材料上时。这种套准标记的一个问题是其消耗了成为包装物表面的不能忽略的区域。另一个问题是这种套准标记必须依赖于在卷材上实施的与其他操作良好对准的印刷。因此需要提供改进的包装层压板卷材标记。提供这些标记的方法可以是在包装材料上提供可磁化部分以使磁性标记能被提供。因此,进一步需要能提供这些可磁化部分。
发明内容
本发明以理解磁性标记能被提供在包装层压板上为基础。包装材料中磁性记录介质的存储信息已经被诸如欧洲专利EP705759 A1中提出。在本发明公开中,提出了拟待由卷材形成的每一包装物(package)上的一个或一个以上的斑点(spot)由可磁化墨提供,其中所述墨包括可磁化颗粒以使得磁性标记可行。
根据第一方案,提供了适合用于形成食品包装物的包装材料的可磁化墨,包括可磁化颗粒、溶剂和粘合剂。
在优选的实施方式中可磁化墨适合于包括纸或纸板基层的包装层压板卷材的高速印刷,其中所述可磁化墨适合于在纸或纸板层上直接印刷。特别地,所述可磁化墨适合于印刷在所述纸或纸板层拟面向由所述包装层压板制造的食品包装内部的表面。
所述可磁化颗粒可以从由磁赤铁矿和赤铁矿组成的组中选择。
所述粘合剂可以从由丙烯酸酯、诸如苯乙烯丙烯酸共聚物之类的丙烯酸树脂(acrylics)、聚氨酯、硝化纤维、聚酰胺和乳胶组成的组中选择。所述粘合剂可以包括该组中的两个,其中一个用作使所述可磁化颗粒均匀地分散在所述墨中的分散剂,另一个用于粘附到所述层压板。
所述粘合剂的数量可以在所述墨重量的20%至60%之间,优选地在40%至60%之间,优选地在50%至55%之间。
所述可磁化墨可以进一步包括添加剂,诸如蜡和/或消泡剂。所述蜡可以包括含有棕榈蜡、石蜡、聚乙烯、聚丙烯、硅树脂、聚酰胺、乙烯醋酸乙烯酯、乙烯醋酸丁酯、乙烯丙烯酸和聚四氟乙烯的组中的任意项。所述消泡剂可以包括聚乙二醇、矿物油、聚硅氧烷、疏水性二氧化硅、硅树脂或矿油。
所述溶剂可以包括含有乙氧基丙醇、正丙醇、乙醇、乙基醋酸、水、异丙醇、乙二醇或缓凝剂溶剂的组中的任意项。
所述可磁化颗粒的数量可以在所述墨重量的15%至40%之间,优选的重量百分比是30%-35%。
所述可磁化颗粒的尺寸可以在0.1μm和2.5μm之间,优选地在0.1μm和0.8μm之间或者优选地在0.4μm和1.5μm之间,优选地约为0.3μm或者优选地约为1μm。

具体实施方式
提供可磁化墨使得可磁化部分能被提供在包装层压板上,该包装层压板被用于形成例如食品包装,诸如饮料和食品容器,或者是用于制备食品或饮料的基本或添加产品的容器。墨包括用于提供可磁化部分磁性特征措施的可磁化颗粒。
墨进一步包括溶剂。溶剂的目的可以保持系统在印刷期间分配流动的墨。溶剂可以是以水基的或者以单体基的(monomer-based)。溶剂的范例是乙醇、乙基醋酸、水、异丙醇、乙二醇或缓凝剂溶剂。
墨进一步包括粘合剂,诸如丙烯酸酯、丙烯酸苯乙烯共聚物、聚氨酯、硝化纤维、聚酰胺或者乳胶。为了给墨所需的性质,粘合剂可以包括例如上面提到的那些物质中的若干组分的混合物。要考虑的性质是帮助分散并稳定墨中的磁性颗粒、在印刷过程中运送磁性颗粒、给形成印刷的基材即在层压板层上提供粘附力。进一步要考虑的性质是印刷和提供合适的印刷性质后磁性颗粒的保护。例如,粘合剂的一种组分可以用作使磁性颗粒均匀地分散在墨中的分散剂,而其他组分可以用作粘附到层压板的粘附剂等。为了提供适合于高速印刷的墨。粘合剂的数量可以在墨重量即湿重的20%至60%之间。已经发现合适的数量为40%至60%之间。使用50%和55%之间的数量效果良好。
墨可以进一步包括添加剂,诸如蜡和/或消泡剂。合适的蜡可以是聚乙烯、聚丙烯或聚四氟乙烯、聚硅氧烷、聚酰胺、乙烯醋酸乙烯酯、乙烯醋酸丁酯、乙烯丙烯酸等。蜡的数量可以变化,但应该足以阻止墨蹭脏或弄脏。合适的消泡剂可以是硅树脂或矿物油。消泡剂的数量应该是足够的以阻止墨在移动卷材上印刷期间、尤其在高速印刷时起泡。
可以通过将可磁化颗粒和粘合剂混合来制备墨,例如通过连续的切变(shearing)或搅拌。颗粒的添加可以部分进行,可以在混合物达到约40到50摄氏度时将其中断,并且立即添加诸如消泡剂和/或蜡之类的任何添加剂以及流体以提供直接可用的(ready-to-use)墨。
可磁化颗粒可以是磁赤铁矿或赤铁矿或者它们的组合。这些矿物适合于食品包装因为对于它们是否可能接触食品没有限制。可磁化颗粒的数量在墨重量的15%至40%之间,优选在其重量的30%至35%之间。
依赖于颗粒假设形状的可磁化颗粒的尺寸,即跨越颗粒的长度、直径等,已经被发现当通过可磁化墨将磁性标记施加到所印刷的斑点上时剩余磁场(剩磁)被给予或多或少有益的性质。越小的颗粒,即0.1μm的量级,就可以越分散,但每个颗粒当然地就能容纳越少的剩余磁场(剩磁)。另外,也依赖于结合剂、溶剂等的选择,这些小颗粒的分散在实践中可能是个问题,其中在墨的制备和处理期间小颗粒成团可能是个问题。另一方面,较大的颗粒,即量级为1μm或几个μm的颗粒,当然可能不如较小颗粒那样分散,但每个颗粒可以容纳更多的剩余磁场(剩磁),并且颗粒的成团将会明显更少。已经发现颗粒尺寸的进一步增加不会增加剩余磁场(剩磁)的聚集,从而能让斑点的墨量保持不变。因此可磁化颗粒合适的尺寸可以在0.1μm和2.5μm之间。一个实施方式中优选的尺寸可以在1μm和8μm之间,或者在另外的实施方式中为0.4μm和1.5μm之间。例如,小颗粒法具有约0.3μm的颗粒大小以便在分散和结块问题之间提供合适的权衡。另一个方法具有约1μm的颗粒大小使得每个颗粒能提供显著的磁场量以及最小化结块问题。另外的实施方式可以使颗粒尺寸为大约0.4μm、0.5μm、0.6μm或0.7μm以提供上述两个其他示例的一些好处。此处,所给为“大约”的尺寸应根据由于该颗粒的形状不能给出确定的几何距离来测量以及因为在制备时该颗粒的大小能自然扩散这两者进行解释。比如说选定了半微米的颗粒尺寸,但颗粒将由碾磨制备并具有略微不规则的形状。因此,平均颗粒在穿过其最大可用方向可能是半微米,而在穿过其最小方向仅有0.35μm。进一步地,对于最大方向,80%的颗粒可以分布(spread)在0.45μm和0.55μm之间,剩余的20%可以在前述范围之外,特别是由碾磨导致的更小的颗粒。该范例当然地适用于任何选定的尺寸。也可以通过碾磨之后的颗粒筛选将分布范围减小。
图1示出了包装材料的卷材100,在那提供了多个可磁化部分102。该可磁化部分优选地在印刷它们时分配使得待由该包装材料形成的每一包装物104有至少一可磁化部分102。为了减少包装材料的消耗,即可磁化墨的消耗,可以将可磁化部分以斑点或类似形状提供在磁性标记拟被放置的部分。因为磁性标记的印刷和分配之间定位的精度是有限的,参见光学标记的问题,斑点优选地略大于磁性标记所需的实际尺寸。因此可以处理任何合理的偏差。因而可磁化颗粒被提供给斑点,磁性标记可以被提供给可磁化颗粒,并且如以下将要进一步说明的,取决于斑点的形式和尺寸,通过调制磁化强度可以将更复杂的信息提供给可磁化颗粒。包装材料优选地是层压板,或者是诸如聚合物材料的单层材料。如上面描述的,通过例如印刷,通过可磁化墨提供了可磁化部分102。包装材料可以包括包含纸层的层压板和一个或更多个塑料涂层,可磁化部分102的印刷可以在该纸层上进行。此处,术语塑料涂层应该被解释为包括适合于食品包装的聚合物的任何涂层。包装层压板也可以包括金属箔层。为了能通过金属箔层写入和读取磁性标记,金属优选地为非铁磁性的,诸如铝。可磁化部分的印刷优选制作在层压板的面对预期形成的包装物内部的层(即印刷可磁化部分的层)的面上。因此,其不会影响诸如包装上的装饰或产品信息的外部印刷。印刷优选地通过使用如上面所述的可磁化墨进行。
Claims (12)
1.适合用于形成食品包装物的包装材料的可磁化墨,包括:
可磁化颗粒;
溶剂;和
粘合剂,其将所述可磁化颗粒分散并确保粘附到所述包装材料。
2.根据权利要求1所述的可磁化墨,其中:所述可磁化颗粒选自由磁赤铁矿和赤铁矿组成的组中。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的可磁化墨,其中:所述粘合剂选自由丙烯酸酯、诸如苯乙烯丙烯酸共聚物之类的丙烯酸树脂、聚氨酯、硝化纤维、聚酰胺和乳胶组成的组。
4.根据权利要求3所述的可磁化墨,其中:所述粘合剂包括所述组中的两个,其中一个用作使所述可磁化颗粒均匀地分散在所述墨中的分散剂,另一个用于粘附到所述层压板的粘附剂。
5.根据权利要求1-4中任一项所述的可磁化墨,其中:所述粘合剂的数量是在所述墨重量的20%至60%之间,优选地是在40%至60%之间,优选地在50%至55%之间。
6.根据权利要求1-5中任一项所述的可磁化墨,进一步包括:添加剂,诸如蜡和/或消泡剂。
7.根据权利要求6所述的可磁化墨,其中:所述蜡包括含有棕榈蜡、石蜡、聚乙烯、聚丙烯、硅树脂、聚酰胺、乙烯醋酸乙烯酯、乙烯醋酸丁酯、乙烯丙烯酸和聚四氟乙烯的组中的任意项。
8.根据权利要求6或7中任一项所述的可磁化墨,其中:所述消泡剂包括硅树脂或矿物油。
9.根据权利要求1-8中任一项所述的可磁化墨,其中:所述溶剂包括含有乙氧基丙醇、正丙醇、乙醇、乙基醋酸、水、异丙醇、乙二醇或缓凝剂溶剂的组中的任意项。
10.根据权利要求1-9中任一项所述的可磁化墨,其中:所述可磁化颗粒的数量是在所述墨重量的15%至40%之间,优选地在所述墨重量的30%至35%之间。
11.根据权利要求1-10中任一项所述的可磁化墨,其中:所述可磁化颗粒的尺寸在0.1μm至2.5μm之间,优选地在0.1μm至0.8μm之间或者优选地在0.4μm至1.5μm之间,优选地大约为0.3μm或者优选地大约为1μm。
12.通过折叠和密封改制为食品包装容器的包装层压板卷材或片材,所述包装层压板包括纸或纸板基层以及可磁化墨的至少一个印刷标记,其特征在于:所述可磁化墨包括可磁化颗粒、溶剂和粘合剂,所述粘合剂以将所述可磁化颗粒分散并确保粘附到所述包装材料,并且其中所述印刷标记被直接施加到拟面向所述包装容器内部的所述纸或纸板层的表面。
