技术领域
本发明涉及紧固件,所述紧固件藉由将其强制嵌入板片的材料中而被附接到所述板片上,由于紧固件的刺入端会变形,从而阻止此紧固件从板片上退出。
背景技术
埋头自铆螺栓和螺柱的一个重大缺点在于,无论在什么情况下,想要安装紧固件的话,都必须使用平直端铣刀先钻孔。在以往致力的设计中,不要求衬底材料中有孔的自刺入或自附接紧固件包括有钉子和铆钉,它们可以被驱入相对于紧固件的硬度较软的衬底材料中。在很多情况下,需要特别的砧座来支撑板片的背侧,板片的背侧与被驱动的紧固件的刺入端的构形协作,使得刺入端变形,以钉牢在板片内。紧固件的刺入端可以经过热处理,使其硬度大于紧固件将被驱入的结构金属构件的硬度。尽管以往一直在这方面作了各种努力,但是仍然需要一种经济和有效的自附接式紧固件,此紧固件不需要安装孔或特别构造的支撑砧座来实现将此紧固件牢固地附接到支撑衬底上。
发明内容
本发明可以实施为具有铆接式外形的螺柱或螺栓,但在此铆接特征前面具有一切割前缘,且紧固件的中心是中空的,以便减小被压入金属中的突出区域,并允许金属流入该部件的中心。柄部而非置换件上的滚花产生扭矩抗力,具有减小突出区域的额外的好处,而此突出区域于无孔情况下安装时需要被压入表面中。面板和铆接式紧固件之间的较大硬度差异是必需的,这是由于会发生较大的材料位移量及加工硬化的关系。另外,置换件的环的有效深度很浅,因为不需要有太多材料位移,但是,需要通过硬化或是增加支撑材料来加固此环,以使其在安装过程中不会因为剪切而造成破坏,所述支撑材料增加至其厚度不会被嵌入板片内。
本发明紧固件的刺入功能消除了要扩孔或钻孔的需要。当紧固件被压入平的金属板片中时,柄部的前缘切入表面。此板片材料被允许在紧固件内向上流动到其中心内。位于柄部外侧上的底切部在置换件将金属向下压入此底切部内时将被填满。通过柄部上的滚花来获得扭矩抗力。当此部件正被压入板片中时,因为置换的金属填满了底切部而包围在滚花的上方时,该部件将被牢固地锁定在适当位置处。因为各附接特征是沿着紧固件的外表面(此处表面积和直径是最大的)设置,因此可在紧固件和面板之间达到很强的接合。
更特别的是,本发明已创造出一种可附接到面板上的刺入式紧固件,所述紧固件具有用于将一器件附接至其上的装置,所述紧固件包括:筒体,所述筒体具有轴向通孔以及自其顶端延伸到其敞开的底端的外表面,所述通孔在所述筒体的底部处包括直径增大的内壁,所述内壁终止于用于刺入所述面板的圆形锐边处。加固环从靠近所述筒体底端的的外表面径向延伸,所述环是所述紧固件的最大直径,并具有适于承受向下的压力的环形顶表面。环形置换件紧连在所述环下面,包括用于使面板受力变形的环形底表面。底切槽位于所述外表面上并紧连在置换件下面,用于接纳已变形的面板材料的冷流。多个径向延伸的圆周齿,它们在所述外表面上紧连在底切部的下面。这些齿延伸成直径比底切部的直径大,但比置换件的直径小。斜面自所述齿向下和向内延伸,并终止于位处紧固件的底端的环形切刃处。
本发明的刺入式紧固件优选与面板一起使用,所述面板为金属板片。通孔的顶部可设置螺纹为器件提供附接,因此,可将器件附接到面板上。所述齿可以是带锐利边缘的三角形滚花,当应用紧固件时,所述锐利边缘将刺入板片。滚花的三角形形状通过底切部上面的向外展开的下表面以及紧接在其下面的斜面提供。为了易于刺入板片,筒体的内壁沿其延伸到切刃的刺入边缘处的底部呈圆筒形。通过底切部的向外展开的下表面,有利于以变形的面板材料填满底切部。

这样,本领域的技术人员应将意识到,本发明所依据的概念可以很容易地被利用作为实现本发明的多个目的的其它的结构、方法和系统的设计基础,。因此,很重要的是,在不脱离本发明的精神和保护范围的情况下,权利要求应被视为包括此类等同结构。

具体实施方式
现参见图1,图中示出了本发明的螺柱紧固件11的部分剖视图。此紧固件包括一筒体部分13,所述筒体部分具有在顶端和底端敞开的内孔19。在本实施方案中,所述孔包括内螺纹15以接纳具有相同螺纹的紧固件,用于附接物体。所述螺柱的基部包括加固环17,所述加固环提供结构强度,以便承受安装此螺柱所需的驱动力,并可控制紧固件的刺入端16在底部处的变形。
图1a为取自图1的放大图。图中示出本发明的螺柱的刺入端的详情。内孔19敞开至位于螺柱的底部或附接端的扩大区域23。在紧固件的最底边缘处,基部材料沿着表面29向内逐渐缩减构成一圆形切刃21。此紧固件为紧固件和衬底材料提供相互变形以达到紧紧铆接的特征包括置换环27以及直径减小的底切部28,所述底切部位于置换件27和向外展开的齿25之间,所述齿咬入衬底材料中,以便阻止紧固件在安装后的转动。在一个备选的实施方案(图中未示)中,所述孔没有向上延伸超过加固环,且筒体的外表面设有螺纹,提供安装螺栓来接纳设有内螺纹的部件(例如螺母)。
图2示出应用本发明的紧固件的安装机构。通过冲压夹具31使紧固件11受力施加到板片33上,所述冲压夹具施加向下的力F到此插入件基部处的加固环17上。如果继续施加力F,切刃21开始刺入由砧座37支撑在背侧上的板片33的表面。
图3a-3d示出安装的顺序。如这些图所示,柄部前缘处的切刃21切入板片33的表面。板片的较软材料被允许向上流到紧固件的中心,也可以流到柄部的外表面周围,所述外表面包括若干径向凸出的三角形滚花25。柄部的外面也包括一底切部28,当置换件27挤压金属向下进入底切部28时将会填满该底切部,因为填充物包围在这些滚花上面,因此将该部件锁定在适当位置上。
因此,前文应被认为仅只是为了说明本发明的原理。此外,对于本领域技术人员而言,会很容易作出很多修改和变型,因此,并不想将本发明限制为图示和所述的确切构造及操作,因而,所有适当的修改和等同方案均可被视为落在本发明的保护范围内。

Claims (9)

1.一种刺入式紧固件,其能够附接到面板上并具有用于将器件附接至其上的装置,所述刺入式紧固件包括:
筒体,所述筒体具有轴向通孔以及自所述筒体的顶端延伸至敞开的底端的外表面,所述通孔包括在所述筒体的底部处直径增大的内壁,所述内壁终止于用于刺入所述面板的圆形锐边处;
加固环,所述加固环位于自所述筒体的外表面径向延伸的筒体基部处,所述加固环为所述紧固件的最大直径,且具有适于承受向下的压力的环形顶表面;
环形置换件,所述置换件紧连在所述加固环下面并包括用于使所述面板受力变形的环形底表面;
底切槽,所述底切槽位于所述外表面上且紧连在所述置换件下面,用于接纳已变形面板材料的冷流;
多个轴向延伸的圆周齿,所述齿紧连在所述外表面上的所述底切部下面,所述齿延伸至直径大于所述底切部的直径,但小于所述置换件的直径;以及
斜面,所述斜面自所述齿向下和向内延伸,并终止于位于所述紧固件的底端的圆形切刃处。
2.如权利要求1所述的紧固件,其特征在于,所述通孔的顶部设有螺纹。
3.如权利要求1所述的紧固件,其特征在于,所述齿为三角形滚花。

5.如权利要求1所述的紧固件,其特征在于,所述内壁呈圆筒形,与位于其底部的所述筒体同轴,而且延伸至所述切刃的边缘。
6.如权利要求1所述的紧固件,其特征在于,所述底切部具有向外展开的下表面。
7.一种刺入式紧固件,其能够附接到面板上并具有用于将器件附接至其上的装置,所述刺入式紧固件包括:
筒体,所述筒体具有自其顶端延伸至敞开的底端的外表面;
通孔,所述通孔包括位于所述筒体底部处的内壁,所述内壁终止于用于刺入所述面板的圆形锐边处;
加固环,所述加固环位于自所述外表面径向延伸的所述筒体的基部处,所述加固环为所述紧固件的最大直径,且具有适于承受向下的压力的环形顶表面;
环形置换件,所述置换件紧连在所述加固环下面并包括用于使所述面板受力变形的环形底表面;
底切槽,所述底切槽位于所述外表面上且紧连在所述置换件下面,用于接纳已变形面板材料的冷流;
多个轴向延伸的圆周齿,所述齿紧连在所述外表面上的所述底切部下面,所述齿延伸至直径大于所述底切部的直径,但小于所述置换件的直径;以及
斜面,所述斜面自所述齿向下和向内延伸,并终止于位于所述紧固件的底端的圆形切刃处。
8.如权利要求7所述的紧固件,其特征在于,所述外表面上设有螺纹。
9.如权利要求7所述的紧固件,其特征在于,所述齿为三角形滚花。
