Abstract

Description
本发明专利申请是国际申请号为PCT/US2004/040039,国际申请日为2006年5月29日,进入中国国家阶段的申请号为200480035237.8,发明名称为“以会话初始化协议为基础的用户激活切换”的发明专利申请的分案申请。
技术领域
本发明有关在两种装置间实施一切换程序,这两种装置是利用两种不同技术、并经由两种不同系统连接至某一网际网络协议(IP)网络。特别是,本发明是有关-在这些不同装置及这些不同网络或一共通网络间实施一切换程序的方法及装置,这种切换程序是利用实时对话期间建立的对话启始协议(SIP)。
背景技术
对话启始协议(SIP)可以用来启始及调整网际网络协议(IP)网络的一多媒体对话。举例来说,对话启始协议(SIP)可以用于一种通用移动电话系统(UMTS)网络,借以建立两个用户间的一多媒体对话,其中,至少一个用户是操作于这种通用移动电话系统(UMTS)网络。然而,对话启始协议(SIP)迄今仍未曾用来实施操作于不同系统的不同装置间的一切换程序。
发明内容
本发明提供一种方法及装置,借以提供切换程序的相关问题解答,其包括:谈判新媒体数码(编码器/解码器)以用于切换程序的两相关装置彼此互不兼容的情况。虽然移动通讯协议(MIP)目前可以用来实施切换程序,但是这种技术却没有一种触发机制,借以启始两种不同网络或一种共享网络通信的两种不同装置间的切换程序。另外,移动通讯协议(MIP)亦无法解决媒体类型、数码、及支持位速率间的不兼容问题。有鉴于此,本发明是应用对话启始协议(SIP)讯息以实施换手程序。
本发明还提供一种移动用户设备,包括:一传输器,其配置以:通过一第一网络而进行通信,以及将一第一对话启始协议讯息传输到该第一网络,其中该第一对话启始协议讯息指示一请求,该请求用于来自另一用户设备的一通信对话的一切换;以及一接收器,其配置以接收该通信对话。
本发明更提供一种无线通信的方法,该方法包括:通过一第一网络而进行通信;将一第一对话启始协议讯息从一第一移动用户设备传输到该第一网络,其中该第一对话启始协议讯息指示一请求,该请求用于从一第二用户设备到该第一用户设备的一通信对话的一切换;以及在该第一用户设备接收该通信对话。

具体实施方式
请参考图1的网络架构10,这种网络架构10具有两种不同无线装置12、32,其中,无线装置12具有无线局域网络(WLAN)卡13的个人电脑(PC),借以使无线装置12能够与无线局域网络(WLAN)存取点(AP)/存取路由器(AR)建立通信。个人电脑(PC)12可以是配备无线局域网络(WLAN)卡的台式电脑或膝上型电脑,且可以经由适当界面(为方便起见未示于图1)与无线局域网络(WLAN)14建立无线通信。个人电脑(PC)12是经由无线局域网络(WLAN)14耦接至AAA单元16,借以在AAA单元16建立存取、授权、及结帐(AAA),及,经由网际网络协议(IP)网络18及路由器20耦接至一服务伺服器22,举例来说,借以与网际网络协议(IP)网络18的呼叫用户或其它来源(图中未示)通信。
用户设备(UE)32,其可能是无线移动电话、个人数字助理(PDA)无线装置、或具有类似功能的其它类似装置,可以适用于具有第三代合作计划(3GPP)系统23的无线通信。用户设备(UE)32可以与第三代合作计划(3GPP)系统23通信,第三代合作计划(3GPP)系统23可以经由天线30接收用户设备(UE)32的无线讯息,天线30可以将通信耦接至通用封包无线服务(GPRS)支持节点(GSN)28。无线讯息亦可以经由通用封包无线服务(GPRS)支持节点(GSN)28传递至家庭用户伺服器(HSS)26及AAA单元24(类似于AAA单元16),借以建立存取、授权及结帐(AAA)。家庭用户伺服器(HSS)26可以实施数个数据库功能,诸如:家庭位置登录(HLR)功能,其可以提供移动终端呼叫及短讯息服务的路由信息、并维护发布至相关访客位置登录(VLR)或发布至服务通用封包无线服务(GPRS)支持节点(SGSN)的用户信息,其基于方便理由而未示于图中。AAA单元24可以安全地决定用户设备(UE)32的识别及权限、并追踪用户设备(UE)32的活动。
接着,当用户想要在两种不同类型网络间进行现有多媒体对话的切换程序时,利用对话启始协议(SIP)实施切换程序的详细方法将会说明如下。在这个例子中,两种不同类型网络可以是无线局域网络(WLAN)网络14及第三代合作计划(3GPP)通用移动电话系统(UMTS)网络23。在这个例子中,举例来说,切换程序的说明可以由个人电脑(PC)12,诸如:图1所示的配备无线局域网络(WLAN)卡13的个人电脑(PC)12,至用户设备(UE)32,诸如:选择性配备影像接收及显示功能的移动电话及此类装置,借以适应根据第三代合作计划(3GPP)标准的多媒体对话。
请参考图2,其中,切换程序是经由无线局域网络(WLAN)网络14触发,假设个人电脑(PC)12及呼叫实体间具有实时对话,在图1中,实时对话可以表示为个人电脑(PC)12/无线局域网络(WLAN)卡13与无线局域网络(WLAN)网络14通信的实时对话(表示为S1),其中,无线局域网络(WLAN)网络14可以与网际网络协议(IP)网络18通信(表示为S2),且网际网络协议(IP)网络18可以提供个人电脑(PC)12及服务伺服器12间的双向通信(表示为S3)。此时,用户设备(UE)32及个人电脑(PC)12均无法与通用移动电话系统(UMTS)网络23通信。
个人电脑(PC)12及用户设备(UE)32的用户可以同时激活用户设备(UE)32、并在S4、S5、S6与通用移动电话系统(UMTS)网络23建立关连。随后,用户便可以在S7决定触发由个人电脑(PC)12至用户设备(UE)32的切换程序要求、并在S8将切换程序要求传送至无线局域网络(WLAN)网络14。随后,无线局域网络(WLAN)14便可以在S9传输对话启始协议(SIP)讯息或对话启始协议(SIP)邀请讯息加上目标网际网络协议(IP)地址、电子邮件地址、或电话号码。随后,对话启始协议(SIP)讯息或对话启始协议(SIP)邀请讯息便可以在S10传递至服务伺服器22。接着,服务伺服器22便可以在S11传输对话启始协议(SIP)200完成(OK)确认讯息以确认切换程序(HO)讯息。
备配无线局域网络(WLAN)的个人电脑(PC)12可以在S12接收对话启始协议(SIP)完成(OK)确认讯息、并传送对话启始协议(SIP)确认(ACK)讯息至服务伺服器22。接着,服务伺服器22可以在S13传输对话启始协议(SIP)邀请讯息以提供媒体类型表列、网际网络协议(IP)地址、位速率、编码解码器、及诸如此类,其接着可以在S14经由网际网络协议(IP)网络18传递至通用移动电信服务(UMTS)网络23、并可以在S15经由通用移动电信服务(UMTS)网络23传递至用户设备(UE)32。用户设备(UE)32,在收到对话启始协议(SIP)邀请讯息后,便可以在S16传输对话启始协议(SIP)200完成(OK)确认讯息,借以确认可接受的媒体类型、编码解码器、位速率、及网际网络协议(IP)地址。接着,对话启始协议(SIP)200完成(OK)确认讯息可以在S17经由通用移动电信服务(UMTS)网络23传递至网际网络协议(IP)网络18,且网际网络协议(IP)网络18亦可以在S18将对话启始协议(SIP)200完成(OK)确认讯息传递至服务伺服器22。服务伺服器22,在收到用户设备(UE)32的对话启始协议(SIP)200完成(OK)确认讯息后,可以将对话启始协议(SIP)确认讯息传递至用户设备(UE)32,进而完成配备无线局域网络(WLAN)的个人电脑(PC)12与用户设备(UE)32间的实时对话的切换程序,此时,用户设备(UE)32与给定来源间的实时对话通信可以在S20经由通用移动电话系统(UMTS)网络23建立、通用移动电话系统(UMTS)网络23可以在S21传递双向通信至网际网络协议(IP)网络18、且网际网络协议(IP)网络18可以在S22将双向通信传递于网际网络协议(IP)网络18与服务伺服器22间。接着,用户便可以在S23终结个人电脑(PC)与无线局域网络(WLAN)网络14间的实时对话。
图3是表示一种切换程序的流程图,其中,由个人电脑(PC)12至用户设备(UE)32的切换程序是经由通用移动电话系统(UMTS)网络23触发。
首先,假设实时对话,其可能是网际网络协议语音(VoIP)或视讯,包括备配无线局域网络(WLAN)卡13的个人电脑(PC)12与无线局域网络(WLAN)网络14间的双向通信S1、无线局域网络(WLAN)网络14与网际网络协议(IP)网络18间的双向通信S2、及网际网络协议(IP)网络18与服务伺服器22间的双向通信S3。另外,假设用户想要实施由个人电脑(PC)12至用户设备(UE)32的切换程序。这些假设的启始化可以在S4激活用户设备(UE)32,借以将用户设备(UE)32连接至通用移动电话系统(UMTS)网络23(如S5所示)、并将用户设备(UE)32连接至网际网络协议(IP)网络18(如S6所示)。
在建立与用户设备(UE)32的连接、且用户在S7决定触发至用户设备(UE)32的切换程序后,用户设备(UE)32便可以在S8传送对话启始协议(SIP)讯息以识别现存实时对话,其中,对话启始协议(SIP)讯息可以是新对话启始协议(SIP)讯息或具有新信息组件的对话启始协议(SIP)邀请讯息。随后,对话启始协议(SIP)讯息可以在S9经由通用移动电话系统(UMTS)网络23传递至网际网络协议(IP)网络18、并接着在S10传递至服务伺服器22。当收到对话启始协议(SIP)后,服务伺服器22便可以在S11传输对话启始协议(SIP)200完成(OK)确认讯息至网际网络协议(IP)网络18,借以确认传递的切换程序(HO),并且网际网络协议(IP)网络18亦可以在S12传递对话启始协议(SIP)200完成(OK)确认讯息至通用移动电话系统(UMTS)网络23、并在S13传递对话启始协议(SIP)200完成(OK)确认讯息至用户设备(UE)32。
接着,用户设备(UE)32便可以传送对话启始协议(SIP)确认讯息至服务伺服器22以响应对话启始协议(SIP)200完成(OK)确认讯息,进而建立连接用户设备(UE)32的实时对话,如S15、S16、S17所示,其原本即将个人电脑(PC)12包含为参与者。应该注意的是,图3所示的S15、S16、S17基本上即等同于图2所示的S20、S21、S22。
在完成切换程序后,服务伺服器22便可以在S18传输对话启始协议(SIP)再见(BYE)讯息以终结无线局域网络(WLAN)网络14的实时对话。随后,对话启始协议(SIP)再见(BYE)讯息便可以在S18传递至网际网络协议(IP)网络18、可以在S19传递至无线局域网络(WLAN)网络14、并可以在S20传递至个人电脑(PC)12。
接着,配备无线局域网络(WLAN)卡13的个人电脑(PC)12便可以传送对话启始协议(SIP)完成(OK)响应讯息以确认终结动作,且对话启始协议(SIP)完成(OK)响应讯息亦可以在S21传递至无线局域网络(WLAN)网络14、并可以在S22传递至网际网络协议(IP)网络18。接着,网际网络协议(IP)网络18亦可以在S23将对话启始协议(SIP)完成(OK)响应讯息传递至服务伺服器22。在收到对话启始协议(SIP)完成(OK)响应讯息后,服务伺服器22便可以首先在S14传送对话启始协议(SIP)确认(ACK)讯息至网际网络协议(IP)网络18、接着在S25传送对话启始协议(SIP)确认(ACK)讯息至无线局域网络(WLAN)网络14。无线局域网络(WLAN)网络14便可以在S26传送对话启始协议(SIP)确认(ACK)讯息至备配无线局域网络(WLAN)卡13的个人电脑(PC)12。
请参考图4,其中,切换程序是由无线局域网络(WLAN)网络14触发。假设用户设备(UE)32与远程实体间具有实时对话,其包括用户设备(UE)32与通用移动电话系统(UMTS)网络23通信的实时对话S1、通用移动电话系统(UMTS)网络23与网际网络协议(IP)网络18通信的实时对话S2,且网际网络协议(IP)网络18还经由服务伺服器22提供用户设备(UE)32与呼叫用户的双向通信S3。
接着,用户便可以在S4激活个人电脑(PC)12、并在S5建立与无线局域网络(WLAN)网络14的连接,及在S6建立与网际网络协议(IP)网络18的连接。随后,用户便可以在S7决定触发连接至个人电脑(PC)12的切换程序、并在S8传送对话启始协议(SIP)切换程序要求至网际网络协议(IP)网络18,及在S9传送对话启始协议(SIP)切换程序要求至服务伺服器22。对话启始协议(SIP)讯息可能是对话启始协议(SIP)切换程序要求或对话启始协议(SIP)邀请讯息加上目标网际网络协议(IP)地址、电子邮件地址、或电话号码。接着,对话启始协议(SIP)讯息可以在S9经由网际网络协议(IP)网络18传递至服务伺服器22。接着,服务伺服器22便可以在S10传输对话启始协议(SIP)200完成(OK)确认讯息至个人电脑(PC)12以确认切换程序(HO)讯息。接着,配备无线局域网络(WLAN)的个人电脑(PC)12便可以在S11接收对话启始协议(SIP)200完成(OK)确认讯息、并传送对话启始协议(SIP)确认(ACK)讯息至服务伺服器22。接着,服务伺服器22便可以在S12传送对话启始协议(SIP)邀请讯息以提供媒体类型表列、网际网络协议(IP)地址、位速率、编码解码器、及诸如此类,借以在S13经由网际网络协议(IP)网络18传递至无线局域网络(WLAN)网络14、并在S14经由无线局域网络(WLAN)网络14传递至个人电脑(PC)12。在收到对话启始协议(SIP)邀请讯息后,个人电脑(PC)12便可以在S15传输对话启始协议(SIP)200完成(OK)确认讯息至无线局域网络(WLAN)网络14,借以确认可接受的媒体类型、编码解码器、位速率、及网际网络协议(IP)地址。接着,对话启始协议(SIP)200完成(OK)确认讯息可以在S16经由无线局域网络(WLAN)网络14传送至网际网络协议(IP)网络18、并可以在S17经由网际网络协议(IP)网络18传送至服务伺服器22。在收到个人电脑(PC)12的对话启始协议(SIP)200完成(OK)确认讯息后,服务伺服器22便可以在S18传递对话启始协议(SIP)确认(ACK)讯息至无线局域网络(WLAN)网络14、接着在S19经由无线局域网络(WLAN)网络14传递对话启始协议(SIP)确认(ACK)讯息至个人电脑(PC)12,进而完成由用户设备(UE)32至配备无线局域网络(WLAN)的个人电脑(PC)12的实时对话的切换程序。如此,个人电脑(PC)12与给定来源间的实时对话通信便可以经由无线局域网络(WLAN)网络14及网际网络协议(IP)网络18建立。由此可知,双向通信便可以建立于无线局域网络(WLAN)网络14及个人电脑(PC)12之间(表示为S20)、无线局域网络(WLAN)网络14及网际网络协议(IP)网络18之间(表示为S21)、及网际网络协议(IP)网络18及服务伺服器22之间(表示为S22)。因此,用户便可以在S23终结无线局域网络(WLAN)网络14的实时对话。
图5是表示一种切换程序的流程图,其中,由用户设备(UE)32至个人电脑(PC)12的切换程序是经由通用移动电话系统(UMTS)网络23触发。
首先,假设实时对话,其可能是网际网络协议语音(VoIP)或视讯,包括用户设备(UE)32与通用移动电话系统(UMTS)网络23间的双向通信S1、通用移动电话系统(UMTS)网络23与网际网络协议(IP)网络18间的双向通信S2、及网际网络协议(IP)网络18与服务伺服器22间的双向通信S3。另外,假设用户想要实施由用户设备(UE)32至个人电脑(PC)12的切换程序。这些假设的启始化可以在S4激活个人电脑(PC)12,借以将个人电脑(PC)12连接至无线局域网络(WLAN)网络14(如S5所示)、并将个人电脑(PC)12连接至网际网络协议(IP)网络18(如S6所示)。
在建立与个人电脑(PC)12的连接、且用户在S7决定触发至个人电脑(PC)12的切换程序后,用户设备(UE)32便可以在S8传送对话启始协议(SIP)讯息以识别现存实时对话,其中,对话启始协议(SIP)讯息可以是新对话启始协议(SIP)讯息或具有新信息组件的对话启始协议(SIP)邀请讯息。随后,对话启始协议(SIP)讯息可以在S9经由通用移动电话系统(UMTS)网络23传递至网际网络协议(IP)网络18、并接着在S10传递至服务伺服器22。当收到对话启始协议(SIP)后,服务伺服器22便可以在S11传输对话启始协议(SIP)200完成(OK)确认讯息至网际网络协议(IP)网络18,借以确认传递的切换程序(HO),并且网际网络协议(IP)网络18亦可以在S 12传递对话启始协议(SIP)200完成(OK)确认讯息至无线局域网络(WLAN)网络14、并在S13传递对话启始协议(SIP)200完成(OK)确认讯息至个人电脑(PC)12。
接着,个人电脑(PC)12便可以在S14经由无线局域网络(WLAN)网络14传送对话启始协议(SIP)确认(ACK)讯息至服务伺服器22、可以在S15传送对话启始协议(SIP)确认(ACK)讯息至网际网络协议(IP)网络18、并可以在S16经由传送对话启始协议(SIP)确认(ACK)讯息至服务伺服器22以响应对话启始协议(SIP)200完成(OK)确认讯息,进而建立实时对话,其原本即将个人电脑(PC)12包含为参与者,并将实时对话切换至个人电脑(PC)12,如图5所示的S17、S18、S19。
接着,服务伺服器22便可以在S20传输对话启始协议(SIP)再见(BYE)讯息至网际网络协议(IP)网络18,且网际网络协议(IP)网络18亦可以在S21传输对话启始协议(SIP)再见(BYE)讯息至通用移动电话系统(UMTS)网络23、并可以在S22传输对话启始协议(SIP)再见(BYE)讯息至用户设备(UE)32。随后,用户设备(UE)32便可以传送对话启始协议(SIP)完成(OK)响应讯息以确认终结动作,且对话启始协议(SIP)完成(OK)响应讯息亦可以在S23传递至通用移动电话系统(UMTS)网络23、可以在S24传递至网际网络协议(IP)网络18、并可以在S25传递至服务伺服器22。在收到对话启始协议(SIP)完成(OK)响应讯息后,服务伺服器22便可以传送对话启始协议(SIP)确认(ACK)讯息,其中,对话启始协议(SIP)确认(ACK)讯息首先可以在S26传递至网际网络协议(IP)网络18,接着,对话启始协议(SIP)确认(ACK)讯息可以在S27传递至通用移动电话系统(UMTS)网络23,接着,通用移动电话系统(UMTS)网络23可以在S28传送对话启始协议(SIP)确认(ACK)讯息至用户设备(UE)32。
Claims (14)
1.一种移动用户设备,包括:
一传输器,其配置以:
通过一第一网络而进行通信,以及将一第一对话启始协议讯息传输到该第一网络,其中该第一对话启始协议讯息指示一请求,该请求用于来自另一用户设备的一通信对话的一切换;以及
一接收器,其配置以接收该通信对话。
2.如权利要求1所述的用户设备,其特征在于,该第一对话启始协议讯息包含一对话启始协议邀请讯息或一对话启始协议切换讯息。
3.如权利要求1所述的用户设备,其特征在于,该第一对话启始协议讯息配置以指示另一用户设备,该另一用户设备使用一网际网络协议地址、一电子邮件地址或一电话号码。
4.如权利要求1所述的用户设备,其特征在于,该传输器配置以将该第一对话启始协议讯息传输到一服务服务器。
5.如权利要求1所述的用户设备,其特征在于,该第一对话启始协议讯息配置以指示该通信对话,该通信对话使用一媒体类型、一网际网络协议地址、一位速率或一编码译码器。
6.如权利要求1所述的用户设备,其特征在于,该接收器配置以响应该第一对话启始协议讯息而接收一第二对话启始协议讯息,该第二对话启始协议讯息指示该切换的一确认。
7.如权利要求1所述的用户设备,其特征在于,该另一用户设备配置以与该第一网络通信。
8.如权利要求1所述的用户设备,其特征在于,该另一用户设备配置以与一第二网络通信,该第二网络具有不同于该第一网络的一架构。
9.一种无线通信的方法,该方法包括:
通过一第一网络而进行通信;
将一第一对话启始协议讯息从一第一移动用户设备传输到该第一网络,其特征在于,该第一对话启始协议讯息指示一请求,该请求用于从一第二用户设备到该第一用户设备的一通信对话的一切换;以及
在该第一用户设备接收该通信对话。
10.如权利要求9所述的方法,其特征在于,该第一对话启始协议讯息通过一网际网络协议地址、一电子邮件地址或一电话号码而指示该第二用户设备。
11.如权利要求9所述的方法,其特征在于,该第一对话启始协议讯息通过一媒体类型、一网际网络协议地址、一位速率或一编码解码器而指示该通信对话。
12.如权利要求9所述的方法,其特征在于,还包括响应该第一对话启始协议讯息而接收一第二对话启始协议讯息,该第二对话启始协议讯息指示该切换的一确认。
13.如权利要求9所述的方法,其特征在于,该第二用户设备与该第一网络通信。
14.如权利要求9所述的方法,其特征在于,该第二用户设备与一第二网络通信,该第二网络具有不同于该第一网络的一架构。
