一种电连接器,安装于电路板上,该电连接器包括绝缘本体、组设于绝缘本体的端子组件及收容于绝缘本体内的内部连接器,所述绝缘本体在垂直于前述电路板的前端面堆叠设有对接插口与收容腔,所述端子组件包括若干导电端子,该等导电端子延伸进入对接插口,以与从前端面插入对接插口的网络插头配合,所述收容腔自前端面延伸的长度与符合USB2.0的堆叠插座连接器的长度相同,并可以收容USB2.0的堆叠插座连接器,所述内部连接器设有符合USB3.0并堆叠设置的两个插座,且该内部连接器前后方向的长度与前述符合USB2.0的堆叠连接器的长度相同。

电连接器及具有该电连接器的复合接口连接器
【技术领域】
本发明是关于一种电连接器,尤其涉及一种电连接器的外形设计。
【背景技术】
业界有制定通用串行标准2.0(USB2.0),该标准有规定对应的堆叠双USB2.0接口连接器。并且,为整体装配方便等原因,业者有将此种双USB2.0堆叠接口的连接器与网络接口连接器整合成一个整体连接器,即Modular Jack Over USB2.0连接器。另外,目前业界又有推出通用串行标准3.0(USB3.0),并规定有对应的接口连接器,关于堆叠设置的双USB3.0接口的现有技术可以参阅2009年5月20日公开的中国大陆第CN101436742A号公开专利。此USB3.0电连接器包括绝缘本体、组装至绝缘本体的第一端子及组装至绝缘本体的第二端子;绝缘本体具有基部、舌板及固持舌板与基部的卡扣机构;第一端子包括与对接插头相接触的接触部及延伸出绝缘本体的安装部;第二端子包括与对接插头相接触的接触部及延伸出绝缘本体的安装部;其中第一端子的接触部与第二端子的接触部沿电连接器的对接方向交错布置且第一端子的接触部被舌板的前缘遮蔽,从而防止第一端子与对接插头的金属外壳接触。
此种堆叠双USB3.0接口连接器因为舌板固持较为困难,故增加了体长以便固持舌板,如此造成与现有的Modular Jack Over USB2.0连接器零件不能共用,增加生产成本。
【发明内容】
本发明所要解决的技术问题是提供低成本的电连接器。
为解决上述技术问题,本发明提供一种安装于电路板上的电连接器,该电连接器包括绝缘本体、组设于绝缘本体的端子组件及收容于绝缘本体内的内部连接器,所述绝缘本体在垂直于前述电路板的前端面堆叠设有对接插口与收容腔,所述端子组件包括若干导电端子,该等导电端子延伸进入对接插口,以与从前端面插入对接插口的网络插头配合,所述收容腔自前端面延伸的长度与符合USB2.0的堆叠插座连接器的长度相同,并可以收容USB2.0的堆叠插座连接器,所述内部连接器设有符合USB3.0并堆叠设置的两个插座,且该内部连接器的长度与前述符合USB2.0的堆叠连接器的长度相同。
本发明电连接器设置的具有USB3.0堆叠双USB3.0接口的内部连接器,具有较小的体长,从而可与现有的Modular Jack Over USB2.0连接器大部分零件共用,从而降低生产成本。
另外,为解决上述技术问题,本发明提供一种电连接器,其可安装于一水平电路板上,并设有符合USB3.0并堆叠设置的两个插座,两插座均可与自前向后插入的对接连接器配合,该电连接器沿前后方向的体长与符合USB2.0的堆叠连接器的对应长度相同。
本发明提供之此种电连接器符合USB3.0标准,并且具有与USB2.0堆叠连接器相同的体长,方便与已存在Modular Jack Over USB2.0连接器共用部分零件,从而以低成本制成Modular Jack Over USB3.0连接器。

【具体实施方式】
参考图1至3,一种电连接器100,安装于电路板80上,该电连接器100包括绝缘本体20、组设于绝缘本体20的端子组件30、收容于绝缘本体20内的内部连接器40、及包覆于绝缘本体20外的屏蔽壳体16、18。所述绝缘本体20在垂直于前述电路板80的前端面堆叠设有对接插口220与收容腔222。所述端子组件30包括若干导电端子32,该等导电端子32延伸进入对接插口220,以与从前端面22插入对接插口220的网络插头(未图示)配合。所述收容腔222自前端面22延伸的长度L(内部连接器的长度通常设计为16.9毫米到17.3毫米之间)与符合USB2.0的堆叠插座连接器的长度相同,并可以收容USB2.0的堆叠插座连接器。所述内部连接器40设有符合USB3.0并堆叠设置的两个插座425、426,且该内部连接器40的长度与前述符合USB2.0的堆叠连接器的长度相同。
图4至9所述内部连接器40设有座体42、水平嵌设于座体42并处于两插座425、426内的两块舌板55、56、及包覆于座体42与两舌板55、56外侧的屏蔽壳体48,舌板55、56上各嵌设有水平直线方向排列的五支第一端子45、46,座体42设有两固定槽420、440用以收容固定自前向后插入的两舌板55、56,其中靠近前述电路板80的固定槽420包括贯穿至座体42一后端面428的第一收容部422与两第二收容部426。对应舌板55设有向后延伸至该後端面428的延伸部551及向后延伸超过後端面428的弹性卡扣555。所述座体42在与固定槽42相邻的位置固定有水平方向直线排列的四支第二端子43,所述舌板45之两弹性卡扣555处在第二端子43排列方向的两端位置,并收容在所述两第二收容部426。
所述延伸部551设置于两卡扣555之间位置,并在延伸部551与两弹性卡扣555之间形成让位空间553,座体42对应该让位空间553设有定位块424以限定舌板45插入深度。所述定位块424连接固定槽420的相对两侧壁,可以同时增强绝缘座体42的强度。如此设计,可以保持内部连接器40前后方向长度较小的情形下,座体42强度较好,且舌板55能够被稳定固持。

Claims (8)

1.一种电连接器,安装于电路板上,该电连接器包括绝缘本体、组设于绝缘本体的端子组件及收容于绝缘本体内的内部连接器,所述绝缘本体在垂直于前述电路板的前端面堆叠设有对接插口与收容腔,所述端子组件包括若干导电端子,该等导电端子延伸进入对接插口,以与从前端面插入对接插口的网络插头配合,所述收容腔自前端面延伸的长度与符合USB2.0的堆叠插座连接器的长度相同,并可以收容USB2.0的堆叠插座连接器,其特征在于:所述内部连接器设有符合USB3.0并堆叠设置的两个插座,且该内部连接器的长度与前述符合USB2.0的堆叠插座连接器的长度相同,所述内部连接器设有座体及水平嵌设于座体并处于两插座内的两块舌板,两舌板上各嵌设有水平直线方向排列的五支第一端子,座体设有两固定槽用以收容固定自前向后插入的两舌板,其中靠近前述电路板的固定槽贯穿至座体的一后端面,对应舌板设有向后延伸至该后端面的延伸部,所述舌板在端子排列方向的两端向后延伸设有两弹性卡扣,所述座体在与固定槽相邻的位置固定有水平方向直线排列的四支第二端子,且弹性卡扣处于第二端子排列方向的两端位置。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述内部连接器的长度为16.9毫米到17.3毫米之间。
3.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述延伸部设置于两卡扣的中间位置,并在延伸部与两弹性卡扣之间形成让位空间,座体对应该让位空间设有定位块以限定舌板插入深度。
4.如权利要求3所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述定位块连接固定槽的相对两侧壁,以增强绝缘座体的强度。
5.一种电连接器,其可安装于一水平电路板上,并设有符合USB3.0并堆叠设置的两个插座,两插座均可与自前向后插入的对接连接器配合,其特征在于:该电连接器沿前后方向的体长与符合USB2.0的堆叠连接器的对应长度相同,所述电连接器设有座体及水平嵌设于座体并处于两插座内的两块舌板,舌板上各嵌设有水平直线方向排列的五支第一端子,座体设有两固定槽用以收容固定自前向后插入的两舌板,其中一固定槽贯穿至座体的一后端面,对应舌板设有向后延伸至该后端面的延伸部。
6.如权利要求5所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述座体在与固定槽相邻的位置固定有水平方向直线排列的四支第二端子,所述舌板在第二端子排列方向的两端向后延伸设有两弹性卡扣,且弹性卡扣处于第二端子排列方向的两端位置。
7.如权利要求6所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述延伸部设置于两卡扣之间位置,并在延伸部与两弹性卡扣之间形成让位空间,座体对应该让位空间设有定位块以限定舌板插入深度。
8.如权利要求7所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述定位块连接固定槽的相对两侧壁,以增强绝缘座体的强度。
