技术领域
本发明总体上涉及用于卷筒纸印刷机的折页器。
背景技术
用于卷筒纸印刷机中的许多折页器采用从动传送带或胶带以将书帖从切割滚筒传送以进行下一个操作,例如使书帖减速或折页。这些胶带在形成书帖之前接触卷筒纸或条带,且具有比条带的速度更高的速度。该速度差引起条带与胶带之间的相对运动(摩擦)。
在由切割滚筒形成书帖之后,胶带将书帖由条带或卷筒纸速度加速至胶带速度,条带或卷筒纸速度也与切割滚筒的表面速度大致匹配。书帖的加速度取决于书帖的质量并取决于胶带与书帖之间的法向力和摩擦系数。当书帖达到下一个机构(例如鼓风机或夹筒)时,这些因素的偏差导致书帖的位置偏差。位置偏差包括:在给定印刷机速度下的书帖之间的偏差;由印刷机速度改变引起的偏差;以及随着时间由例如胶带磨损引起的偏差。位置偏差会产生下述问题:降低的最大允许印刷机速度;增加的手动相位调节需求;机械损坏;以及由书帖堵塞引起的印刷机停用时间。这些问题在可变切断应用中较为严重且在印刷机速度增加时变得更严重。
美国专利No.4,919,027示出了一种页导向系统,且美国专利No.6,612,213示出了传送带导向器。这两篇文献均以引用的方式并入本文。
发明内容
本发明提供一种用于卷筒纸印刷机的折页器,包括:用于将卷筒纸切割成书帖的切割滚筒;具有第一升高部分的第一传送带;和具有第二升高部分的第二传送带,该书帖接收自切割滚筒以便定位在第一和第二升高部分之间;以及至少一个变速电机,该变速电机驱动第一和第二传送带以便使书帖加速。
通过提供升高的带部分和加速,可形成头尾之间的间距同时使书帖保持主动受控。
本发明还提供一种传输从卷筒纸切割的书帖的方法,包括:接收在两个传送带之间主动受控且具有条带速度的书帖;以及使该两个传送带加速以在书帖之间形成间距。

具体实施方式
图1描述了根据本发明的折页器结构10,该折页器结构10具有进入卷筒纸或条带12、压持辊14、与第一砧滚筒相互作用的第一切割滚筒16、与第二砧滚筒相互作用的第二切割滚筒18、传送系统20以及减速鼓风机22、24。传送系统20包括由电机30驱动的胶带26、28以及由电机36、38驱动的主动控制传送带32、34。第一切割滚筒16在条带12中形成第一穿孔,且第二切割滚筒18通过在穿孔之间进行切割而形成书帖。传送系统20将书帖传输到减速鼓风机22、24。
图2示意性地更详细示出了传输系统20。穿孔的条带12进入以速度V1移动的传送系统20。条带12的前缘由以更高速度V2移动的传送带26、28松弛地引导,但是不被传送带26、28主动抓持。
然后条带12与传送带衬垫40、42接触。传送带衬垫40、42由电机48驱动,且在传送带衬垫首次紧贴条带12时,传送带衬垫40、42也以速度V1移动。于是切割滚筒18用刀片50将书帖从条带12切下。然后电机48将书帖和衬垫40、42加速到胶带26、28的速度V2。接着书帖从衬垫40、42传送到胶带26、28,以便继续传送到鼓风机22、24。备选地,书帖不是传输到鼓风机22、24,而是例如可传输到夹筒。
当书帖首次由切割滚筒18形成时,新书帖的后缘52接触条带12的前缘54。通过将在传送系统20中的每个书帖从V1加速到V2,连续书帖之间的头尾间距离L有利地生成,以便将书帖传输到鼓风机22、24。
衬垫40、42具有对书帖的主动控制,以防止在衬垫40、42和书帖之间的滑动。主动控制有利地使得在传送系统20的出口处书帖的位置偏差最小化。
传送带32、34可包括两组衬垫40、42和44、46。衬垫40、42和44、46的每组接触每隔一个书帖,且每个传送带32、34可由独立电机48、56驱动。衬垫的间距使得衬垫40、42不影响由衬垫44、46接触的书帖(反之亦然)。
在释放书帖之后且在接触随后的书帖之前,衬垫40、42和44、46的每组在返回路径58、60上通过变速电机48、56减速到速度V1。然后衬垫40、42和44、46再次接触条带12,且该过程进行重复。
图3A和3B包含在形成两个连续书帖期间传送带衬垫40、42和44、46各自的速度对时间的曲线图。在该图中,传送带衬垫40、42接触第一书帖并使其加速,且传送带衬垫44、46接触第二书帖并使其加速。第一书帖在时间t1由切割滚筒18形成,且第二书帖在时间t3由切割滚筒18形成。
变速电机(例如,从西门子公司可市售的伺服电机)可用于提供这种速度差异。
如图3A和3B两者所示,传送带衬垫40、42和44、46的速度在条带速度V1和胶带速度V2之间变动。在图3A中,在时间t1,传送带衬垫40、42的速度等于条带速度V1。然后传送带衬垫40、42在时间t2使第一书帖加速并使其达到胶带速度V2。传送带衬垫40、42和书帖A(SA)保持在速度V2,直到时间t3为止,在时间t3时传送带衬垫40、42将第一书帖传输到胶带26、28并开始减速。传送带衬垫40、42在时间t4达到条带速度V1并保持在速度V1,直到时间t5为止,在时间t5时形成新的书帖且该过程进行重复。
如图3B所示,传送带衬垫40、42的速度是传送带衬垫44、46的速度的镜像。在时间t1,传送带衬垫44、46将在先书帖以速度V2传输到胶带26、28并开始减速。传送带衬垫44、46在时间t2达到速度V1。当在时间t3形成第二书帖时,传送带衬垫44、46使第二书帖加速并在时间t4达到速度V2。传送带衬垫44、46和书帖B(SB)保持在速度V2,直到第二书帖在时间t5被传输为止。
传送带衬垫的速度模型不局限于在图3A和3B中示出的模型。备选地,传送带衬垫的速度模型例如可以是正弦曲线或逐段线性的。改变速度模型将设定书帖之间的间距。
单个可变电机和齿轮装置也可用于传送带32、34。

Claims (4)

1.一种用于传输从卷筒纸切下的书帖的方法,包括:
接收在两个传送带之间主动受控且具有条带速度的书帖,其中,两个传送带中的第一传送带包括第一升高部分,两个传送带中的第二传送带包括第二升高部分,接收步骤包括将第一升高部分和第二升高部分朝向彼此移动,以同时接触书帖中的第一书帖;
将所述两个传送带加速以在所述书帖之间形成间距;以及
在第一和第二升高部分释放书帖中的第一书帖之后使第一和第二升高部分减速。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述间距通过改变至少一个电机的速度模型而变化,所述电机驱动所述两个传送带。
3.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,第一传送带包括从第一升高部分间隔开的第三升高部分,第二传送带包括从第二升高部分间隔开的第四升高部分,接收步骤包括将第三升高部分和第四升高部分朝向彼此移动,以同时接触书帖中的第二书帖,书帖中的第二书帖紧接书帖中的第一书帖。
4.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,加速步骤包括将第一升高部分和第二升高部分从第一速度加速至第二速度。
