Abstract

本发明涉及一种带槽的抽吸泵辊头(aspiration pump roller-head)组件。具体地讲,本发明涉及自动接合型蠕动泵头,其具有用于将圈状管子牵拉到辊头组件上的螺纹。
背景技术
众所周知的是蠕动泵使用泵盒,泵盒具有安置在辊头组件上方的圈状管子。然后,管子可以被牵引,以使得管子夹在辊头组件的辊之间,或者管子被挤压在辊和支持板之间。当辊头组件被转动时,流体被从手术位置蠕动式泵送通过所述圈状管子。
为了确保正确操作蠕动泵,需要将圈状管子恰当地安装在辊头组件上。有很多已知的方案用于确保管子被正确地装载到辊头组件上。这些方案中包括授予Finsterwald的美国专利4,861,242和授予Zaleski,II的美国专利5,588,815。上述两个专利都教导了使用缺口,该缺口延伸超过辊头组件的前表面并且用于接合或抓住圈状管子,并且随着辊头组件被转动,该缺口将圈状管子牵拉到辊头组件的辊上。也有其它结构,例如锥形辊头,用于有助于将圈状管子牵拉到辊上。虽然这些现有技术方案本身的操作是有效的,但仍希望具有一种容易制造的辊头组件,其能够可靠地操作,即在圈状管子可能与辊头组件严重错开的情况下仍能被牵拉到辊头组件的辊上并被正确地安装以实现蠕动泵的操作。

具体实施方式
图1示出了一种根据本发明的眼科抽吸泵辊头组件10。组件10包括多个辊12,连接在辊12的第一端16的基座14,和连接在辊12的第二端的面板18。面板优选具有围绕着面板18的外周形成的至少一个槽20,用于将管子牵拉到辊12上。更优选地,面板槽20包括所示的双头(double-start)锥螺纹(槽),它们起始于附图标记22和24。优选地,槽20形成在面板18上,以围绕面板18的周边形成至少一个整圈,更优选地,包括双头槽,以形成围绕面板18的周边的多圈。组件10还优选包括系带26,用于保持辊12与内部辊轴紧密接触,以便在辊头组件10转动时减少可被听到的噪声的出现。
辊头组件10优选安装在蠕动泵上,蠕动泵可以是例如美国专利公开文献2005/0069419、名称为“Peristaltic Pump with Air Venting Via theMovement of a Pump Head or a Backing Plate During Surgery”中所公开的,该文献以引用的方式并入本申请,并且已被转让给本申请的受让人。在使用中,随着壳抽屉部关闭,辊头组件10被转动。随着蠕动的管子接合辊头组件10,与槽20相关联的转动会将管子牵拉到辊12上以便被正确定位。
有若干因素可以导致管子的不正确装载和定位。这些因素包括管子长度不同,制造过程中管子扭曲,在包装和运输过程中管子变形,以及制造时导致的管子弯曲。如果管子未被正确装载,结果可能是泵不能产生恒定的蠕动泵送作用。此外,已发现,如果管子只是被部分地装载到辊12上,特别是转动的泵头和管子之间的摩擦可能导致如此,这对于手术领域是非常不希望有的。
通过经验性实验已发现,即使是显著变形、扭曲、错位的管子圈也容易被正确地装载到本发明辊头组件10的辊12上。虽然本发明被描述为采用槽20,但可以确信,具有非对称布置的凸块或者其它结构的面板其它实施方式,也可以用来将管子牵拉到辊12上。
将眼科手术泵盒(pump cassette)28装载到抽吸泵辊头组件10上包括下述步骤。将辊头组件10设置在泵30上。辊头组件10具有多个辊12,如前所示,所述辊连接在基座14和面板18之间。
泵30优选设有抽屉部32,用于容置泵盒28。壳28可以由使用者装载到抽屉部32中。然后,在辊头组件被转动的情况下,如箭头34所示,泵30可以引起抽屉部32朝向辊头组件10移动。如图2-4所示,形成在面板18上的槽20引起泵盒28的管子36被牵拉到辊12上,即使是管子36与辊头组件10错开时。
图2示出了蠕动泵30具有壳28,所述壳安置在抽屉部32中并且带有严重错位的管子36的圈。随着抽屉部32被泵30关闭,如图3所示,辊头组件10的转动引起槽20抓住管子36的圈并将管子36牵拉到辊12上。图4示出了抽屉部处在关闭位置,管子36的圈被正确装载到辊头组件10上。
因此,这里显示了一种创造性的辊头组件10及其使用方法,其中辊头组件10随着抽屉部32被关闭而转动,带有槽20的辊头组件10操作以将管子36的圈牵拉到辊12上,以便进行正确的操作。
Claims (4)
1、一种眼科抽吸泵辊头组件,包括:
多个辊;
连接在辊的第一端的基座;以及
连接在辊的第二端的面板,面板具有至少一个槽,所述槽形成在面板上用以将管子牵拉到辊上。
2、如权利要求1所述的辊头组件,其中,面板槽包括双头锥螺纹。
3、一种将眼科手术泵盒引导到抽吸泵辊头组件上的方法,包括下述步骤:
将辊头组件设置在泵上,所述辊头组件具有连接在基座与面板之间的多个辊;
提供用于容置泵盒的抽屉部;
将泵盒装载在抽屉部中;以及
使得泵在辊头组件被转动的情况下将抽屉部朝向辊头组件移动,从而形成在面板上的槽导致泵盒的管子被牵拉到所述辊上,即使是在管子与辊头组件错开时。
4、如权利要求3所述的方法,进一步包括下述步骤:在面板上形成双头锥螺纹。
