BHT(2,6二叔丁基-4-甲酚)为一种抗氧化剂。抗氧化剂如BHT或没食子酸丙酯加入到洗衣洗涤剂配方中用来减少或防止氧化作用的效果。这些效果可在该配方的储存或使用过程中显现出来。氧化过程不希望的效果的实例为:恶臭、褪色、香料降解、组分如有机表面活性剂、漂白剂、酶的失去活性和橡胶基物质的性质改变。

抗氧化剂优选地选自BHT和没食子酸丙酯,最优选BHT。
有机表面活性剂会预先加热以帮助抗氧化剂的溶解。
本说明书全文所指的抗氧化剂还包括自由基清除剂,除了在上下文中使得其不可能之外。
这里适用的自由基净化剂包括熟知的取代单羟基和二羟基苯及其类似物、烷基和芳基羧酸酯及其混合物。本文优选使用的此类自由基清除剂包括二叔丁基羟基甲苯(BHT)、对苯二酚、二叔丁基对苯二酚、单叔丁基对苯二酚、叔丁基羟基anysole、苯甲酸、甲苯酸、邻苯二酚、叔-丁基邻苯二酚、苄胺、1,1,3-三(2-甲基-4-羟基-5-叔丁基苯基)丁烷、没食子酸正丙酯或其混合物,并且高度优选的是二叔丁基羟基甲苯。如没食子酸正丙酯的自由基清除剂可从NipaLaboratories以商品名Nipanox SI商业性获得。当使用自由基清除剂时,在此处典型用量为全部组合物的至多10重量%,优选0.001%-0.5重量%。
根据本发明制备的组合物还含有其它抗氧化剂或其混合物。
本发明使用的适宜的其它抗氧化剂包括有机酸如柠檬酸、抗坏血酸、酒石酸、己二酸和山梨酸,或胺如卵磷脂,或氨基酸如谷氨酸、蛋氨酸和半胱氨酸,或酯如棕榈酸抗坏血酸酯(ascorbil palmitate)、硬脂酸抗坏血酸酯(ascorbil stearate)和柠檬酸三乙酯(trethylcitrate)及其混合物。这里使用的优选的抗氧化剂为柠檬酸、抗坏血酸、棕榈酸抗坏血酸酯、卵磷脂及其混合物。
这个生产工艺已显示具有提高抗氧化剂功效的益处。因此它能够以较低含量使用以获得同样的效果或能同等含量使用获得洗涤剂成分和洗衣的更好的保护作用。
此外,因为抗氧化剂能够在洗涤剂制剂的制备工艺中容易的溶解在表面活性剂中,不再有必须有固定比例的两种组分如香料和抗氧化剂的限制条件。仅有的限制条件是配方中应有足够的表面活性剂来溶解所有的抗氧化剂。典型的,对于非离子表面活性剂,最低含量是过量于抗氧化剂的2∶1重量,尽管在一些表面活性剂中可溶解至多40wt%的BHT。对于表面活性剂,优选地选自那些配方中已有的。然而,也可使用额外的表面活性剂。已经发现,通过把BHT溶解在非离子表面活性剂中来加入BHT以在洗涤过程中对橡胶基物质不受催化氧化系统的作用提供了特别良好的保护。
根据本发明的第二方面,提供了含有溶解在乙氧基化非离子表面活性剂中的抗氧化剂的颗粒洗衣洗涤剂的用途,以提供在洗涤过程中抗氧化剂在橡胶上的改善的沉积。
一种用于粉末洗涤剂配制的优选工艺是通过在粉末上喷涂该混合物将抗氧化剂加入非离子表面活性剂中,同时该粉末进行混合。鼓式混合机或其它适用工艺可以用来进行该引入方法。适宜的替代性搅拌机包括流化床和双锥式混合机。
该颗粒洗衣洗涤剂配方或粉末是不受限制的:条件是其含有有机表面活性剂。它可含有有机表面活性剂例如阴离子和非离子表面活性剂的混合物。可含有在洗涤剂粉末配方中常见的助洗剂和其它成分。该组合物可为低中或高容积密度,并可通过任何本领域已知的工艺来制备。
本发明通过参考下列非限制性实施例进行进一步的说明。
实施例1
BHT溶解在用平均7摩尔环氧乙烷乙氧基化后的C12-15脂肪醇非离子表面活性剂中。发现在有机表面活性剂中可能至多溶解40wt%的BHT。在一个该过程的变化中,容易发现在Synperonic A05非离子表面活性剂中可能溶解30wt%的抗氧化剂。
实施例2
在如实施例1所述的在非离子有机表面活性剂中的30 wt%的BHT的溶液在鼓式搅拌机中被喷洒在磷酸盐助洗颗粒洗涤剂组合物上,该颗粒洗涤剂组合物中含有一定量的作为阴离子表面活性剂的LAS以提供在所得的颗粒洗涤剂中的0.02wt%的BHT。因为以这种方式加入非常少的非离子表面活性剂,所以不需要任何更多的工艺操作。
实施例3
对照A:不含有BHT的洗衣粉
对照B:在香料中加有0.02%BHT的洗衣粉
实施例4:如实施例2所述的在非离子表面活性剂中加有0.02%BHT的洗衣粉。BHT由Fluka提供。
进行两项测试:
测试1
在这项测试中,我们研究了BHT的加入方法对在洗涤液中发现的BHT量的影响。这项测试表明组合物储存和然后把BHT分散在溶液中的情况。用ABTS方法进行分析。在各项测试中,洗涤液由6FH水构成。溶液的ABTS反应时间为15分钟。
结果如下表1所示:

香料途径(B)和非离子途径(4)相比表明当通过非离子加入BHT,在洗涤中BHT可获得性更好。注意由于溶解度的限制,香料中BHT重量%仅可以为大约最大6重量%。因此对于实施例B而言需要喷洒的量远大于实施例4。
测试2
对于这个测试,用于测试1的配方用来洗涤橡胶基材料各8次。然后从该物质中提取出BHT以看在8次洗涤过程中多少BHT被吸收或被沉积,使用实施例A的数值作为基线。结果列于表2。

可以看出,最有效的加入方法是本发明实施例4的方法。使用香料的方法明显没有使用非离子表面活性剂的方法有效。
Claims (10)
1.一种用于在含有至少5%有机表面活性剂的颗粒洗涤剂配方中加入至多2%抗氧化剂的方法,其包括步骤:
a)把抗氧化剂溶解在选自阴离子表面活性剂、非离子表面活性剂及其混合物的有机表面活性剂中,条件是该有机表面活性剂含有少于5重量%,优选少于3重量%的皂,最优选不含皂;和
b)把在步骤a)中形成的溶液加到洗涤剂配方中。
2.一种如权利要求1所述的方法,其中在步骤a)中使用的有机表面活性剂含有低于1%的游离水。
3.一种如权利要求1或2所述的方法,其中在步骤a)中使用的有机表面活性剂不含有烯属不饱和度。
4.一种如权利要求3所述的方法,其中有机表面活性剂为非离子表面活性剂。
5.一种如权利要求4所述的方法,其中非离子表面活性剂具有5-40个环氧乙烷单元。
6.一种如权利要求5所述的方法,其中非离子表面活性剂在其主链上具有8-45个碳原子。
7.在前述权利要求中任一项所述的方法,其中有机表面活性剂被加热以溶解抗氧化剂。
8.在前述权利要求中任一项所述的方法,其中抗氧化剂选自BHT和没食子酸丙酯,优选BHT。
9.在前述权利要求中任一项所述的方法,其中在步骤a)中表面活性剂与抗氧化剂的比例为1000∶1-1∶1,优选10∶1-2∶1。
10.含有溶解在乙氧基化非离子表面活性剂中的抗氧化剂的颗粒洗衣洗涤剂组合物的用途,用以提供在洗涤过程中抗氧化剂在橡胶上的改善的沉积。
