背景技术
在4到36个月大期间,对幼儿逐渐引入成人饮食。在此过渡时期,饮食从母乳、婴儿配方奶粉和/或由奶粉变化到固体和半固体食物、非适用型牛奶和其它饮料。在此期间,幼儿愈加开始习惯食用成人型的食物,且开始熟悉多种质地和口味。
在所述群体中提供良好营养平衡的饮食是非常重要的,因为生命早期的营养是整个儿童期健康生长和发育以及成年期良好健康状况的主要决定性因素。在此特殊的发育期,婴儿具有特殊的营养需求。

本发明提供对婴儿提供平衡膳食的方法。本发明人发现许多婴儿尤其对铁、长链多元不饱和脂肪酸(LC-PUFA)和膳食纤维的摄取不足。对锌的摄取量通常也不足。
婴儿和幼童由于快速的生长发育,对铁的需求较高。较低的铁含量可能导致缺铁性贫血,而且当体内铁储备耗尽时会对认知能力有影响。许多1岁以上的婴儿消耗大量的非适用型牛奶,这会导致铁的总摄入较低,这是因为非适用型牛奶降低了铁的生物利用率。
膳食纤维对婴儿是有益的,因为膳食纤维使得排便形式和稠度正常化。膳食纤维的摄入对便秘具有有益的作用,防止传染和/或通过刺激结肠菌群来刺激免疫系统。纤维具有饱和作用,且因此对饱腹感和睡眠具有有益作用。

喂养方法
本发明提供一种对受试人提供营养的方法,所述方法包含在5到10天的时间内对所述受试人投与至少一种富含铁的营养组合物(营养组合物a.)、至少一种富含膳食纤维的营养组合物(营养组合物b.)、至少一种富含长链多元不饱和脂肪酸(LC-PUFA)的营养组合物(营养组合物c.),且优选也含有至少一种富含锌的营养组合物(营养组合物d.)。在优选实施例中,受试人是婴儿。
为提供足够的热量和大量营养元素,营养组合物a~d包含蛋白质、可消化的碳水化合物和脂肪,优选每100g至少1.5g蛋白质,每100g至少5g可消化的碳水化合物和每100g至少1.5g脂肪。优选的是,营养组合物a.、b.和c.和d.具有每100克40~100千卡(kcal)的热量密度,更优选每100g为60~90千卡的热量密度。优选的是,本发明的每一营养组合物都提供50~300千卡的热量,更优选提供100~300千卡的热量。
无论何时提到营养组合物的重量(例如,上文所见的每100g),指的是所投与营养组合物(包括水)的总重量。
蛋白质、碳水化合物和脂肪是婴儿生长所必需的。每种这些大量营养元素的平衡摄入都有助于正常的生长和发育。因此,营养组合物优选每100g包含至少2g蛋白质,更优选每100g包含至少3g蛋白质。营养组合物优选每100g含有少于20g蛋白质,更优选每100g含有少于15g蛋白质,甚至更优选每100g含有少于10g蛋白质。

以营养组合物的总重量计,本发明的营养组合物优选含有75~90重量%的水,更优选为78~85重量%。
在优选实施例中,每种投与给婴儿的营养组合物分别具有90~500ml的体积,更优选为125~300ml的体积。用于本发明方法的营养组合物优选都具有大约相同的体积(即,最大与最小体积之间的差异小于50ml)。
在优选实施例中,膳食为正餐。正餐是一天中的主要进餐,可以在晚上或中午来供应。优选在30~50℃下,更优选在35~45℃下消耗膳食。
富含铁的膳食(营养组合物a.)

富含膳食纤维的膳食(营养组合物b.)。
如本文所用的术语膳食纤维指的是经口腔摄取后完整地进入人类结肠,即在胃肠道的上部并未由酶或酸消化的碳水化合物。营养组合物b.优选含有可发酵的膳食纤维,更优选含有水溶性可发酵的膳食纤维。本文所用的术语“可发酵”指的是经历厌氧分解和/或由通常存在于人类胃肠道下部(例如结肠)的微生物转化为较小分子(尤其是短链脂肪酸和乳酸盐)的能力。可发酵性可由Am.J.Clin.Nutr.53,1418~1424(1991)中所述的方法来确定。

聚果糖是包含β连接的果糖单元链的具有10个或10个以上果糖单元聚合度(DP)的多糖碳水化合物,例如菊糖。果糖寡聚体(FOS)是具有低于10的DP的葡萄糖-和/或果糖-末端的果糖链。因此,FOS可描述为GFn-1链或Fn链,其中G为葡糖基单元,且F为果糖基单元,且n=1-9。
半乳寡聚糖(GOS)是具有小于10的DP的包含半乳糖单元的低聚糖。葡萄糖单元可以存在于链的还原端。GOS包含α-和β-半乳寡聚糖。优选的是,GOS的至少66%的糖单元是半乳糖单元。反式半乳寡聚糖(TOS)是其中大部分半乳糖单元(至少90%,优选至少95%)由β键(例如β-(1,4键))连接的半乳寡聚糖。优选的是,本发明所用的GOS的至少50%的键是β键。此类TOS例如可见于VivinalGOS(BorculoDomo Ingredients,Zwolle,Netherlands)中。
术语酸性低聚糖指的是包含至少一个酸性基团的低聚糖,所述酸性基团选自:N-乙酰基神经氨糖酸、N-乙醇酰基神经氨糖酸、游离或酯化羧酸、硫酸基和磷酸基。酸性低聚糖优选包含糖醛酸单元(即糖醛酸聚合物),更优选包含半乳糖醛酸单元。酸性低聚糖可为均质或异质碳水化合物。优选的是,果胶和/或藻酸盐的水解产物用作酸性低聚糖。DP优选低于10。

难以消化的聚糊精指的是难以消化的碳水化合物,其DP为3~50、优选为4~20,且其中单体单元至少80%、优选至少85%来源于葡萄糖(基于所存在的单体单元总量)。平均聚合度为每个分子10~16个单糖单元。在优选实施例中,难以消化的聚糊精是随机分枝的,且包含α-(1,4)、α-(1,6)糖苷键和α/β-(1,2)、α/β-(1,3)和β-(1,6)键。例如,难以消化的聚糊精可以“Fibersol 2”的商品名购自Matsutami Inductries或以Litesse的商品名购自Danisco。

长链多元不饱和脂肪酸(LC-PUFA)是含有至少两个双键和20~22个碳的碳链长度的脂肪酸。术语LC-PUFA包括二十碳五烯酸(EPA)、二十二碳六烯酸(DHA)和花生四烯酸(ARA)。在优选实施例中,所述膳食富含ω-3 LC-PUFA,因为在西方的饮食中,ω-6与ω-3脂肪酸的平衡比非常高,这对于疾病预防和健康并非最佳的。优选的是,营养组合物c.含有DHA和EPA。
富含LC-PUFA的膳食含有富含LC-PUFA的来源,例如鱼类和/或海产蔬菜,例如海藻和/或藻类。优选的是,营养组合物c.含有鱼类,更优选含有鲑鱼、鳕鱼、鲔鱼和/或鱼油。

在优选实施例中,存在维生素E以防止多元不饱和脂肪酸的氧化。优选的是,每100g组合物中存在至少3mg,更优选至少6mg的维生素E。
营养组合物d.
在优选实施例中,除了营养组合物a.、b.和c.以外,也存在第四种营养组合物,营养组合物d.。优选的是,营养组合物d.包含最小量的选自碘和锌的群组的营养物。优选的是,营养组合物d.包含最小量的锌。
碘是甲状腺激素的必要组分,且碘缺乏与甲状腺功能减退、甲状腺肿以及生长和精神发育迟滞有关。已显示在欧洲国家目前仍然存在所述的地方性碘缺乏。盐的营养强化作用和盐在食物中的作用对幼童来说可能并不是最佳解决方法,这是因为幼童对盐和食物的摄取量较低。富含碘的膳食含有富含碘的来源,例如海产品和在富含碘的土壤上培育的蔬菜。碘的量为每100g至少2μg。碘的量优选为每100g至少5μg。碘的量更优选为每100g至少10μg。碘的量最优选为每100g至少12μg。每100g膳食最多含有70μg碘。组合物优选每100g含有少于60μg碘。组合物更优选每100g含有少于45μg碘。优选以该方式选择膳食的天然成分,以便提供足量的碘。优选的是,可以以碘化钠、碘化钾、碘酸钾、碘酸钠和/或其混合物的形式加入额外的碘。
富含锌的膳食(营养组合物d.)

试剂盒
本发明涉及一种为婴儿提供良好平衡饮食的方法。本发明的膳食经过独立包装,且优选以试剂盒的形式提供,其中所述试剂盒含有几种不同的膳食,即具有如上文所述的不同营养组合物的膳食。
本发明的试剂盒包含至少3种、更优选3~14种、更优选至少4种、甚至更优选4~11种、最优选7种经过独立包装的营养组合物,其每100g具有40~100千卡的热焓。所述试剂盒优选至少含有营养组合物a、b和c,更优选至少含有上文所述的营养组合物a.、b.、c.和d.。在又一优选实施例中,本发明的试剂盒含有2~4种包装的营养组合物a.;1~2种包装的营养组合物b.;1~2种包装的营养组合物c.;和0~3种包装的营养组合物d.。
试剂盒中的营养组合物优选是即食型的和/或干燥形式。通过重新溶解在合适的液体(例如水)中,可以容易地从干燥形式来生产即食型。即食型通常可以在加热和/或混合后直接投与给婴儿。试剂盒中的营养组合物优选具有100~500ml、更优选150ml~300ml的体积。
单独包装的营养组合物优选包装在单盒的包装内,使得试剂盒作为单一单元可被识别。带盒包装优选是纸盒箱。优选对带盒包装进行标记来指示其中所含的封装的营养组合物应该在5到10天时间内,优选在7天时间内投与。包装上指示的时间(以天数计)优选对应于其中含有100~到300千卡热焓的独立包装的营养组合物的量。更加优选的是,在盒包装上指示试剂盒含有7种营养组合物,其将在7天的时间内投与。
在又一优选实施例中,试剂盒中的营养组合物被统一标准,其中每一个独立包装的营养组合物都含有标签或标记,所述标签或标记详细说明试剂盒的其它营养组合物,或者,独立包装的营养组合物上的所述标签成为下述本发明方法的参考。

实施例
实施例1:
含有富含纤维、LC-PUFA和铁的营养组合物的试剂盒。用于8个月大和更大婴儿的试剂盒,其包含3种富含铁的膳食(含有肉类的膳食)、2种富含LC-PUFA的膳食(含有鱼类的膳食)和2种富含纤维的膳食(素食膳食)。每次膳食具有200g的重量。
含有肉类的膳食:封装在具有红色罩(其上可见奶牛的图形)的玻璃瓶中的营养组合物,其含有35重量%的混合蔬菜(14重量%胡萝卜、10重量%四季豆、6重量%白豆、5重量%豌豆)、10重量%的牛肉、25重量%的马铃薯、25重量%的牛肉浸膏和5%的其它物质(小麦粉、玉米油、水)。所述组合物每100g含有76千卡,每100g含有3.4g蛋白质,每100g含有9.7g可消化的碳水化合物且每100g含有2.8g脂肪。所述组合物每100g含有0.81mg铁。标签指示每周消耗三次所述含有肉类的膳食。标签另外指示,建议每周除了含有肉类的膳食以外消耗2次含有鱼类的膳食(见下文)和2次素食膳食(见下文)。

含有肉类的膳食每100g包含1.5mg铁,其是通过用乳酸亚铁对实例1的含有肉类的膳食进行补充而获得的;
素食膳食每100g包含4g膳食纤维,其是通过用反式半乳寡聚糖和菊糖的混合物对实例1的含有纤维的组合物进行补充而获得的;且
含有鱼类的膳食每100g包含250mg长链多元不饱和脂肪酸,其是通过用鲑鱼油对实例1的含有鱼类的组合物进行补充而获得的。
Claims (13)
1.试剂盒,其包含3~14种包装的营养组合物且包括营养组合物a.)、b.)和c),所述试剂盒每100g包含至少1.5g蛋白质,每100g包含至少5g可消化的碳水化合物,且每100g包含至少1.5g脂肪,其中:
营养组合物a.)每100g包含0.35~6mg铁;
营养组合物b.)每100g包含1.0~10g膳食纤维;且
营养组合物c.)每100g包含10~5000mg长链多元不饱和脂肪酸。
2.权利要求1所述的试剂盒,其另外包含营养组合物d.),所述试剂盒每100g含有至少1.5g蛋白质,每100g含有至少5g可消化的碳水化合物,每100g含有至少1.5g脂肪,且每100g含有0.15~4mg锌。
3.权利要求1或2所述的试剂盒,其中所述试剂盒由3~14种包装的营养组合物组成。
4.前述权利要求中任一项所述的试剂盒,其包含4~11种包装的组合物,所述试剂盒由下列各物组成:
2~4种营养组合物a.;
1~2种营养组合物b.;
1~2种营养组合物c.;
0~3种营养组合物d.。
5.前述权利要求中任一项所述的试剂盒,其中营养组合物b.)包含至少一种选自聚果糖、果糖寡聚体、半乳寡聚糖、部分水解半乳甘露聚糖、酸性低聚糖和难以消化聚糊精的纤维。
6.前述权利要求中任一项所述的试剂盒,其中所述营养组合物a.、b.、c.和可选的d.具有每100克40~100千卡的热量密度。
7.前述权利要求中任一项所述的试剂盒,其用于对受试人提供营养的方法中。
8.对受试人提供营养的方法,所述方法包括在5~10天的时间内对所述受试人投与下列各物:
每100g包含0.35~6mg铁的营养组合物a.);
每100g包含1.0~10g纤维的营养组合物b.);和
每100g包含10~5000mg长链多元不饱和脂肪酸的营养组合物c.);
其中组合物a.、b.和c.每100g包含至少1.5g蛋白质,每100g包含至少5g可消化的碳水化合物且每100g包含至少1.5g脂肪。
9.权利要求7或8所述的方法,其中所述受试人是婴儿。
10.权利要求8或9所述的方法,其还包括在所述时间内投与营养组合物d.),所述营养组合物d.)每100g包含至少1.5g蛋白质,每100g包含至少5g可消化的碳水化合物,每100g包含至少1.5g脂肪且每100g包含0.15~4mg锌。
11.权利要求8~10中任一项所述的方法,其中组合物a.、b.、c.和可选的d.是在不同的日期投与给所述婴儿的。
12.权利要求8~11中任一项所述的方法,其包括在所述时间内对所述受试人投与下列各物:2~4次营养组合物a.);1~2次营养组合物b.);1~2次营养组合物c.);和0~3次营养组合物d.)。
13.权利要求1~6中任一项所述的试剂盒,其适用于进行权利要求8~12任一项所述的方法。
