图4示意性地示出了在本发明的一些实施例中提供触摸输入时有用的振敏触板40。在国际公开WO 96/11378、WO 00/38104、WO01/48684、WO 02/01490、WO 03/005292、WO 03/067511、WO03/107261、欧洲专利EP 1240617B1、一般转让的美国专利申请USSN10/729,540、USSN 10/750,290、USSN 10/750,291、和USSN10/750,502、美国专利公开US 20030066692和US 20020135570、和美国专利5,637,829和5,717,432中披露了示例性的振敏触板。在一个实施例中,板41是具有915mm的长560mm、宽2.2mm尺寸厚的半强化矩形玻璃板。压电换能器45、46、47、和48可被用氰基丙烯酸盐胶粘到位于角的玻璃板41的底面。在此实施例中,传感器45、46、47、和48大小为10.4mm×4.5mm×1.19mm。这些传感器以它们的长轴与相邻玻璃板边缘成45°来布置,如WO 03/005292和一般转让的USSN 10/440,650所述。传感器45、46、47、和48以一般转让的USSN 10/739,471中所述的系列电阻器结构来构成。
简言之,振敏触摸输入装置通常通过检测由从振动触摸工具输入的触摸引起的触板中的振动,或者已经在该板中传播并且由所述触摸改变的振动来工作。检测到的振动可被用来确定触摸的位置。在一些变形中,压电换能器与触板连接以检测弯曲波振动。换能器拾取振动,并且产生被发送到控制器电子装置的信号。触摸该板的输入表面的动作产生能量脉冲,所述能量脉冲的带宽和幅度取决于接触材料(手指、指示笔、手套等)、板材料(玻璃、丙烯酸纤维等)、和接触强度。在触点给予的能量向着一般位于触板周边各点(诸如矩形板的角)的换能器传播,所述能量产生可被数字化的信号。控制器电子装置可对数字化的信号执行计算以确定触摸冲击的位置,或与触摸相关的其他信息(诸如触摸强度、触摸工具类型等)。振敏触摸装置还可检测由于触摸工具和板表面之间的摩擦接触而由触摸工具产生的振动,所述触摸工具穿过所述触板的输入表面进行跟踪。
因为由触摸输入所表示的振动通常包括在传播期间易受分散影响的弯曲波振动,可期望针对在输入位置和其它确定的信息中另外引起误差的分散效应来进行校正。用于针对分散效应进行校正的示例性方法在WO 01/48684中披露。
参照图4,响应于由于触摸输入导致的玻璃板41中的振动而由传感器45、46、47、和48每一个产生的信号可被FET放大器电路部件49、50、51、和52分别缓冲。例如,四条电缆60、61、62、和63可被用于从位于板41至连接器65的每一角上的传感器和部件传送信号。每条电缆具有一对双绞线。可选地,可使用到电子底座而止的印刷导电油墨痕迹来替代互联线。
图4还示出,垫片74可被放置在板41上。除了提供间隔功能之外,当触摸输入装置40被集成到视频系统中时,垫片74还提供振动阻尼功能。通常期望振敏触摸输入装置与外部振动至少部分隔离,并且/或者期望提供对触板的边缘上的振动加以吸收以降低反射。隔音材料也可被与垫片功能分开提供。示例性隔音材料可包括诸如丙烯酸泡沫带之类的各种泡沫带、诸如3M公司出售的贸易名称为3M4956和3M 5962之类的双面粘合带、聚氨酯泡沫带、诸如3M公司出售的贸易名称为3M 4314之类的单侧带等。其它合适的材料包括各种聚氨酯和硅酮、以及用于振动阻尼应用的粘弹性材料。
本发明不被考虑为局限于上述特别示例,而是应该被理解为覆盖在所附权利要求中公开陈述的本发明的全部方面。可应用于本发明的各种变形、等同处理、以及众多结构对本领域技术人员来说是明显的,本领域技术人员可通过参阅本说明书来导出本发明。

Claims (5)

1.一种显示系统,包括:
电子显示器,其能够电子显示图像,该电子显示器具有公共观察区域和多个指定私人观察区域,其中,每个私人观察区域只能从相关观察位置看到,并且所述公共观察区域可从所有观察位置看到;以及
触敏输入装置,其重叠在所述电子显示器的至少一部分上,从而为用户提供与所述显示系统的交互。
2.如权利要求1所述的显示系统,还包括位于至少一个所述私人观察区域中的光控制薄膜组件,以便控制所述电子显示器的可视性。
3.如权利要求2所述的显示系统,其中,所述光控制薄膜组件包括用来把视角控制在第一方向上的第一光控制薄膜、和用来把视角控制在与所述第一方向垂直的第二方向上的第二光控制薄膜。
4.如权利要求3所述的显示系统,其中,所述第一和第二光控制薄膜的至少一个控制由一个倾斜角确定的视轴,从垂直于所述电子显示器的线朝着相关观察位置来测量所述倾斜角。
5.如权利要求1所述的显示系统,其中,所述系统被构造为一张桌,围绕所述桌分配相关的观察位置以容纳多个用户。
