技术领域
本发明一般地涉及DVD记录,具体涉及从NTSC信号向记录介质上记录基本和SAP音频。
背景技术
第二音频节目(SAP)是可以通过空中或通过有线电视而广播或发送的电视的辅助音频频道。SAP频道是单声道的,并且保真度相对较低。可以通过电视机、配备用来接收SAP信号的立体声录像机或SAP接收机来使能SAP。SAP是MTS的一部分,所述MTS是由美国的全国电视系统委员会设置的多频道电视声音标准。在加拿大和墨西哥以及日本也使用NTSC视频格式和MTS。MTS特性(包括立体声和SAP)在音频载波的副载波上传播,这非常像调频无线广播的立体声信息。SAP副载波位于78.670kHz,它是15.734kHz的MTS导频信号的5倍。而MTS导频被锁定在视频载波的水平同步频率上以获得稳定性。SAP频道包含单声道音频,它已经被dbx编码以降低噪声,用于改善信噪比。在NTSC电视系统中使用的音频载波因为其250kHz带宽而可以容易地处理多个音频频道。

一种在记录装置中的控制器:使得能够接收信号的音频分量;使得能够将所述信号的第一音频分量记录为单声道音频分量,并且将所述信号的第二音频分量记录为第二单声道音频分量;并且使得能够当在所述信号中仅仅包含所述第一音频分量时将第一音频分量记录为立体声音频分量。
一种方法包括:接收广播信号;当基本音频和辅助音频节目分量都在所述广播信号中并且被选择来记录时,将广播信号的基本音频分量记录为单声道音频编码流,并且将所述广播信号的辅助音频节目内容记录为第二单声道编码流;并且当仅仅是基本音频分量在所述广播信号中并且作为立体声音频信号时,将广播信号的基本音频分量记录为立体声编码流。

图1描述了用于对用广播信号提供的基本音频内容和辅助音频节目内容执行本发明的记录的例证数字视频光盘录像机配置100。在调谐器块102接收广播信号,在此将视频和音频内容解码,并且将音频内容数字化以提供视频、与所述视频相关联的音频的左右立体声分量、和辅助音频节目内容。所解码的视频和数字化立体声音频和辅助音频节目分量然后在音频/视频压缩编码器块103被压缩和编码。控制器块101选择性地控制通过光盘驱动器104将压缩和编码的视频、基本左右音频分量和辅助音频节目内容记录在光盘介质110上。如果DVD录像机的控制器已经被设置为当可获得辅助音频节目内容时自动记录该辅助音频节目内容,则DVD录像机将基本音频记录为单声道编码流,并且将辅助音频节目内容记录为第二、分离的单声道编码音频流。在不广播SAP音频的情况下,DVD录像机的控制器101仅仅使得能够将基本音频记录为立体声或单声道(如果不广播立体声)的编码流。如果用户不设置DVD录像机以记录辅助音频节目内容,则所述控制器使得能够通过光盘驱动器104仅仅将基本音频记录为立体声或单声道编码流。
在通过控制器101而使能的重放模式期间,在音频/视频压缩解码器块105将所记录的视频和音频解码,从其将视频内容编码106以在显示器108上观看。来自音频/视频解码器块105的所记录的音频被转换为模拟形式,并且被扬声器播放。当可以获得和记录基本立体声音频和辅助音频节目内容时,在扬声器109上重放期间,可获得每个音频分量作为单声道音频内容。当在记录视频内容期间不能获得辅助音频节目内容时,将基本音频内容记录为立体声左右分量,以在扬声器109的左右音频输出处重放。当不能获得辅助音频节目内容并且将基本音频作为单声道音频信号广播时,记录那个单声道音频信号并且其可作为单声道音频信号从光盘记录器获得重放。
参见图2,示出了一种用于受控地记录与广播视频节目相关联的基本音频内容和辅助音频节目内容的方法的流程图200。如果解码的视频和音频信号201包括辅助音频节目内容202,则控制光盘驱动器以记录基本音频和辅助音频SAP并将它们每一个都记录为单声道编码流。当辅助音频节目SAP信号不被呈现用于解码、并且将基本音频信号接收和解码为对于所述视频广播的立体声左右音频分量204时,通过光盘驱动器将基本音频记录为编码的左右音频分量205。当对于所述视频广播将基本音频作为单声道音频分量广播时,将所述音频记录为单声道编码流206。

Claims (16)

当在所述信号中仅仅包含所述第一音频分量时,使得能够将所述第一音频分量记录为立体声或单声道音频分量。
2.按照权利要求1的方法,其中所述第一音频分量包括视频节目内容的基本音频分量。
3.按照权利要求1的方法,其中所述第二音频分量包括辅助音频节目内容。
4.按照权利要求1的方法,其中还包括步骤:当仅有所述第一音频分量包含在所述信号中、并且所述第一音频分量是单声道音频分量时,使得能够将所述第一音频分量记录为单声道音频分量。
5.按照权利要求1的方法,其中还包括步骤:当仅有所述第一音频分量包含在所述信号中、并且所述第一音频分量是立体声音频分量时,使得能够将所述第一音频分量记录为立体声音频分量。
6.按照权利要求1的方法,其中,当所述第一和所述第二音频分量的每个被记录时,它们被记录为编码的单声道音频流。
7.按照权利要求1的方法,其中,当仅仅可以从所述信号获得所述第一音频分量时,所述第一音频分量随后被记录为单声道编码流。
8.一种记录装置中控制器,用于执行下列步骤:

12.按照权利要求8的控制器,其还执行步骤:当仅有所述第一音频分量包含在所述信号中、并且所述第一音频分量是立体声音频分量时,使得能够将所述第一音频分量记录为立体声音频分量。
13.按照权利要求8的控制器,其中,当所述第一和所述第二音频分量的每个被记录时,它们被记录为编码的单声道音频流。
