Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un gen CCA modificado que codifica una enzima de adición de CCA, cuyo gen CCA modificado conduce a la resistencia contra un virus de ARN de cadena positiva que tiene una TLS, en donde el gen CCA modificado se selecciona del grupo que consiste en: un gen que comprende una secuencia de nucleótidos que codifica una enzima de adición de CCA de conformidad con SEC ID No. 8, SEC ID No. 9, SEC ID No. 10, o SEC ID No. 11; un gen que comprende una secuencia promotora que comprende SEC ID No. 12, SEC ID No. 13, SEC ID No. 14, SEC ID No. 15, o SEC ID No. 16; un gen que comprende una secuencia de nucleótidos que codifica una enzima de adición de CCA que tiene una supresión, una sustitución, o una inserción de al menos un aminoácido en comparación con SEC ID No. 2 o SEC ID No. 7; un gen que comprende una secuencia de nucleótidos que codifica una enzima de adición de CCA con una supresión, una sustitución o una inserción de al menos un aminoácido en comparación con SEC ID No. 8, SEC ID No. 9, SEC ID No. 10 o SEC ID No. 11; un gen que comprende una secuencia de nucleótidos que codifica una enzima de adición de CCA que tiene al menos un 80% de identidad de secuencia con SEC ID No. 8, SEC ID No. 9, SEC ID No. 10, o SEC ID No. 11; y un gen que comprende una secuencia promotora que tiene al menos un 80% de identidad de secuencia con SEC ID No. 12, SEC ID No. 13, SEC ID No. 14, SEC ID No. 15, o SEC ID No. 16. La invención se refiere además a plantas y semillas que comprenden los genes modificados, métodos para hacer e identificar tales plantas y para usar el gen.
