EL DESARROLLO Y DESTINO DE CÉLULAS VEGETALES SE ALTERA TRATANDO LAS CÉLULAS CON FACTORES DE REPROGRAMACIÓN CELULAR. SE USAN GENES DE DESARROLLO MORFOGÉNICOS INDUCTORES DE EMBRIOGÉNESIS COMO FACTORES DE REPROGRAMACIÓN CELULAR, QUE COMPRENDEN ESPECÍFICAMENTE POLIPÉPTIDOS O POLINUCLEÓTIDOS QUE CODIFICAN PARA PRODUCTOS GÉNICOS PARA GENERAR HAPLOIDES DUPLICADOS O PLANTAS HAPLOIDES A PARTIR DE GAMETOS. LAS MICROSPORAS DE MAÍZ TRATADAS PONIENDO EN CONTACTO LAS CÉLULAS AISLADAS CON UN GEN DE DESARROLLO MORFOGÉNICO INDUCTOR DE EMBRIOGÉNESIS EXÓGENO, PURIFICADO, RECOMBINANTE DAN COMO RESULTADO EMBRIOGÉNESIS.
