Abstract
La invención tiene relación con un sensor de gas para detectar un componente de gas. El sensor de gas comprende una capa de detección, un primer y segundo electrodo y un elemento de calentamiento. La capa de detección comprende 20 – 95% por peso de óxido de tungsteno y 5 -80% por peso de tungsteno elemental. La combinación de óxido de tungsteno y tungsteno elemental constituye al menos 60% por peso de la capa de detección. La invención tiene relación además con un método para fabricar un sensor de gas que comprende la etapa de depositar la capa de detección mediante deposición física de vapor.
