Description
Anschlussvorrichtung für Flüssigkeitselektroden. Zwecks Durchführens des elektrischen Stromes durch die Metallwandungen der Kes selgehäuse benötigt man bei elektrischen Dampfkesseln, Speichern und Durchlauf erhitzern besonders konstruierte Durchfüh rungsisolatoren, die nicht nur den Stromleiter gegen das Gehäuse elektrisch gut isolieren, sondern auch einen :
dichten Abschluss des oft unter Druck stehenden Apparates bewirken. Bisher benutzte man für diesen Zweck Por zellanrohre (Bandrohre), auf deren Zylinder mantel ein ebenfalls aus Porzellan bestehen der Wulst oder Bund vorgesehen war, der unter Zuhilfenahme von Packungsstoff in einer an .dem Kesselgehäuse vorgesehenen Stopfbüchse verpackt wurde und auf diese Weise dichtete.
Die Herstellung solcher Bandrohre ist sehr schwierig und kostspielig und überdies sind diese Rohre leicht zerbrechlich, so da.ss sie die an Dampfkessel zu stellende Sicher heit nicht bieten. Ausserdem ist das Abidich- ten sehr schwierig, umständlich und zeit raubend und nur unter Verwendung beson derer Packungsmaterialien, wie Metallwolle oder Krupp'sche Packung möglich. Alle .diese Nachteile sind beim Gegen stande der Erfindung, für die .die Zeichnung ein Ausführungsbeispiel zeigt, vermieden.
a ist ein leicht herstellbarer, fester Isola tor mit Flansch b, der mit ebenen Flächen und unter Zwischenschaltung einfacher han- -(lelsüblicher Packungsringe c und d durch den Flanschring e mit Hilfe der Schrauben f auf den Kesselflansch 1c angepresst wird.
g ist der stro#m- und spannungsführende elektrische Durchführungsbolzen, der von dem normalen Isolierrohr 1a umkleidet und gegen die äussere Atmosphäre .durch einen Bund s und die Dichtungsscheibe i .abgedichtet wird.
Der Bund s ist nahe dem obern Ende des Isolatorkopfes .angeordnet, um diesen strom leitenden Teil möglichst weit von den mit dem andern Pol verbundenen Kesselteilen abzurücken und so die Vorrichtung gegen Stromübertragung zu sichern.
