500,167. Condensers. ROSENTHAL, E. July 7, 1938, No. 20209. [Class 37] Plates 1 of ceramic material with flanged edges 2 have metal surface layers 3, and are mounted in column formation in oil in a container 4, springs 6 being fitted between the plates and the end walls of the containers or, as shown, the ends of a clamping structure 8, 9. The rims may abut, in which case grooves may provide for oil circulation. The plates may be mounted on through rods which may be connected to the metal layers to form terminal connections.
