Tire-lignes. L'objet de la présente invention est un tire-lignes qui est caractérisé en ce qu'il com porte un guide dans lequel est fixé un porte- pinceau et auquel est pivoté un support, une vis étant prévue pour régler la distance entre la pointe du support et celle du pinceau, afin de pouvoir faire varier l'épaisseur des lignes.
Le dessin ci-joint représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'invention.
a est un tube creux à l'extrémité fendue f duquel est fixé un pinceau g. <I>b</I> est un guide pouvant coulisser sur le tube a et muni d'un pivot d supportant une branche ou support c consistant en une pièce plate en métal ter minée par deux plans formant un angle droit l'un par rapport à l'autre. Ce support est pivoté en<I>d</I> au guide<I>b</I> et est muni d'une vis de réglage e. Un court ressort h a ten dance à éloigner du tube a la partie supé rieure du supporte.
Le guide b présente, à sa partie ouverte, une rainure dans laquelle le support c se meut, sans toutefois pouvoir être déplacé latéralement.
La partie fermée du guide b est circu laire, de façon à pouvoir s'ajuster sur le tube a et à glisser le long de celui-ci.
Le support e est taillé en pointe à son extrémité la plus rapprochée du pinceau, de façon à permettre de tracer la ligne aussi près que possible de la règle. L'autre extré mité de ce support dépasse le guide b de faon telle qu'en, pressant sur cette partie supérieure, on fait pivoter le support autour du point d, ce qui a pour résultat d'éloigner du pinceau l'extrémité inférieure du support c, le pinceau pouvant ainsi être enlevé beaucoup plus facilement.
Lorsqu'on veut utiliser l'instrument, le pinceau est imprégné d'encre ou de couleur et la vis e est réglée selon l'épaisseur de la ligne que l'on désire obtenir. Si cette der nière doit être très fine, l'extrémité du sup port c et celle du pinceau g devront être très rapprochées. On tient l'instrument sur le papier de façon à ce qu'il ait toujours la même inclinaison et on fait glisser l'instru ment le long d'une règle, le guide c appuyant contre cette règle et le pinceau étant en contact avec le papier.
En faisant glisser le guide b le long du tube a, le pinceau peut être monté ou descendu et l'épaisseur des lignes peut être ainsi variée.
La vis de réglage e modifie la distance entre le support c et le pinceau et permet d'obtenir des lignes plus ou moins larges.
Line pullers. a is a hollow tube at the split end f of which is attached a brush g. <I> b </I> is a guide which can slide on the tube a and provided with a pivot d supporting a branch or support c consisting of a flat metal part terminated by two planes forming a right angle one by compared to each other. This support is rotated in <I> d </I> to the guide <I> b </I> and is fitted with an adjustment screw e. A short spring has a tendency to move away from the tube at the upper part of the support.
The guide b has, at its open part, a groove in which the support c moves, without however being able to be moved laterally.
The closed part of the guide b is circular, so as to be able to fit on the tube a and to slide along the latter.
The support e is cut to a point at its end closest to the brush, so as to allow the line to be drawn as close as possible to the ruler. The other end of this support goes beyond the guide b in such a way that by pressing on this upper part, the support is rotated around point d, which results in moving the lower end of the brush away from the brush. support c, the brush thus being able to be removed much more easily.
When the instrument is to be used, the brush is impregnated with ink or color and the screw e is adjusted according to the thickness of the line which is desired. If the latter must be very thin, the end of the support c and that of the brush g must be very close together. The instrument is held on the paper so that it always has the same inclination and the instrument is made to slide along a ruler, the guide c pressing against this ruler and the brush being in contact with the paper.
By sliding the guide b along the tube a, the brush can be raised or lowered and the thickness of the lines can thus be varied.
The adjustment screw e changes the distance between the support c and the brush and allows you to obtain more or less wide lines.
