Montre pour automobiles. L'objet de la présente invention est une montre pour automobiles qui diffère de celles ;lui ont été fabriquées jusqu'à présent eu ce qu'elle possède un double fond par l'entremise duquel elle se fixe au véhicule. Cette disposition est avantageuse à plu- ,sieurs points de vue. On peut, par exemple, prévoir à ce double fond un rebord percé de trous au moyen desquels la fixation de la pièce s'opère.
Dans ce cas là, de préférence ce double fond sera articulé au restant de la pièce au moyen d'une charnière et recouvrira les organes de remontage et de mise à l'heure qui seront ainsi protégés, du fait de ce recou vrement, de la poussière et de l'humidité qui, dans les montres pour automobiles, tend tou jours à pénétrer à l'intérieur du mouvement par les interstices se trouvant entre la tige de remontoir et la carrure.
Il est beprésenté, à. titre d'exemple, au dessin ci-annexé une montre pour automobiles selon l'invention.
La fig. 1 la représente ouverte; la. fig. 2 la. montre fermée en coupe selon la ligne II-II de la fig. 1. La carrure de la pièce représentée se trouve en a; on lui a adapté une lunette b, de grand diamètre, qui porte une poussette au moyen de laquelle on peut agir sur un fermoir des tiné à maintenir le restant de la, pièce, lors que celle-ci est fermée, appliquée contre le rebord c du double fond d.

Les organes extérieurs de remontage ne sont pas représentés; ils se trouvent entre le fond et le double fond. Cette manière de faire protège les organes de l'intérieur de la mon tre de la poussière et de l'humidité qui joue un si grand rôle dans les montres pour auto mobiles. Le fait que la lunette recouvre les trous de ' fixation donne au tout une certaine élégance.

The object of the present invention is a watch for automobiles which differs from those which have been manufactured heretofore in that it has a double bottom by means of which it is fixed to the vehicle. This arrangement is advantageous from several points of view. One can, for example, provide at this double bottom a rim pierced with holes by means of which the fixing of the part takes place.
In this case, preferably this double bottom will be articulated to the rest of the part by means of a hinge and will cover the winding and time-setting components which will thus be protected, due to this covering, from the dust and moisture which, in automobile watches, always tends to enter the interior of the movement through the gaps between the winding stem and the caseband.

It is through the latter that the part is attached to the vehicle. For this purpose, three fixing holes e are provided which pass through the rim c and which, always when the part is closed, are covered by the bezel.
The external winding members are not shown; they are located between the bottom and the double bottom. This way of proceeding protects the parts inside the watch from the dust and humidity which play such a large role in watches for automobiles. The fact that the bezel covers the fixing holes gives the whole a certain elegance.
