Description
Head <the fork for cycles. The present invention relates to a fork head made of sheet steel for cycles, for example bicycles, motorcycles.
The accompanying drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention, applied to a bicycle.
Fig. 1 is a partial front view of this embodiment, and FIG. 2 a partial bottom view. FIG. 3 is a section along the line A- A of FIG. 3.
The fork crown is formed from the main part a of sheet steel, stamped in a single piece and welded, for example with autogenous hard solder, along the lines b L '. Sleeves c and c 'stamped and of suitable shape are arranged on each side of the fork crown and are intended to receive the branches of the fork.
These sheaths are terminated at their upper part so as to rest perfectly on the inclined part constituting the internal wall of the head of the furnace. The central part of the fork crown is reinforced by a sheet steel tube d. welded, for example <@ la, autogenous weld, and serving as a guide to the steering tube (the bicycle.
The fork crown can have any appropriate shape, depending on the different types of bicycles, motorcycles etc.
