Pistolet.
La fig. 1 en est une élévation latérale; La fig.2 est une coupe axiale longitu dinale de la culasse mobile, les ressorts de percussion et de rappel étant en place, mais désarmés; La fig. 3 est une même coupe sans les ressorts, L a fig. 4 est une vue par dessous de la culasse mobile La fig. 5 est une vue en bout par l'ar rière de cette forme d'exécution; La fig. 6 est une vue en bout de la cu lasse mobile; La fig. 7 est une vue des ressorts de per cussion et de rappel, ainsi que d'une douille guide, tels qu'on les sort de la chambre de la culasse;

Gun. The object of the invention is a pistol, which can be an automatic or semi-automatic pistol.
It comprises, like other known pistols, a movable breech which opens and closes automatically by the deflagration of the cartridge. However, it differs from these known pistols in that it comprises a helical percussion spring arranged coaxially in a helical spring serving to bring the breech back to front after each shot, the two springs, in opposite steps. , being housed in a single chamber presented by the movable breech.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, an embodiment of the pistol, consisting of an automatic pistol of the so-called "Browning" type.
Fig. 1 is a side elevation; Fig.2 is a longitudinal axial section of the breech, the percussion and return springs being in place, but unarmed; Fig. 3 is the same section without the springs, L a fig. 4 is a view from below of the movable yoke. FIG. 5 is an end view from the rear of this embodiment; Fig. 6 is an end view of the mobile lasse; Fig. 7 is a view of the percussion and return springs, as well as a guide sleeve, as they are taken out of the cylinder head chamber;
Figs. 8, 9, 10, There are a side elevation of the right side, a view from below, a side elevation of the left side, an end view from the rear of a retainer; Figs. 12 and 13 are a side elevation and an end view through the rear of the barrel; Fig. 14 is a partial end view from the front of said embodiment.
The handle 1 of the latter came from manufacture with a body under which it is located and which forms the slide of the movable cup 3 and of the barrel 2. It contains, in addition to the magazine, a known device comprising a trigger 1. =, a trigger 13, a spring l <B> '</B>, as well as a safety device, the axis of which 1' is only visible in FIG. 1, and a barrel locking device 2.
This locking is obtained by means of a sail 41 presented by the trigger guard 4 of the guard and housed in a notch 21, matching its shape, of the barrel 2, which can slide on internal ribs 1 'of the handle 1. The p -_. Ritet 4 pivoted in 1 and forming a spring, can be moved away from the position in which it locks this barrel ?.
The movable breech 3 can slide in outer grooves 1s of the handle 1. and is further guided by a collar 31 smoothing on a reinforced part 2 of the barrel 2.
It occupies the entire length of the handle 1 and has the chamber 3 = '.
In the latter is the return spring 5, helical, which serves to return the cylinder head 3 from rear to front after each shot and in which the percussion spring 6, also helical, is housed coaxially. The spring 6 surrounds the firing pin 7 and a gitide sleeve â of which a protruding edge serves as a support for the two springs 5, 6 towards the rear of the gun. These two springs 5, 6 bear forward one 5, on a transverse wall 33 of the cylinder head 3, the other, 6, on a shoulder of the striker 7.
In the wall 33 are niéliages a hole for the tip 71 of the striker 7 and a housing 34 for the base of the cartridges.
The sleeve is centered opposite a perforation 9e 'of the retainer 9 by the two springs 5, 6, one of which 6 maintains it directly, while the other 5, in turn, maintains the spring t3.
To avoid shits the two springs 5, 6 contradict each other, their steps are in opposite directions: the step of the spring 5 is for example, to the right. while that of the res is 1> is gabelle.
The sleeve S. itself rests against the cylindrical part 91 of the stopper 9 which, closed the chamber 3 = towards its rear, small slipping there during the retraction of the cylinder head 3 and is held in the. chamber 3 under the effect of the pressure of the two springs 5, 6, thanks to a finger 101 which exceeds the lateral stop-

During the movement of the breech backwards, the stopper 9 remains in place, because it is retained by the edge of the handle 1 butting against the wall of the notch 9 'formed between the plate 9' and the cylindrical part 9 =. Likewise, the barrel 2 remains in place, due to the notch 2 'in which the projection 4' of the trigger guard 4 is engaged. Under these conditions, the retrograde movement of the breech 3 compresses the two springs 5 and 6. The rod of the striker 7 guided by the sleeve 8 enters the perforation 9 = and the edge 10 = engages the shoulder ment of the striker 7, keeping it cocked when the breech is returned to its previous position.
The tip 11 'of the lever having arrived in this position above the trigger 13, it suffices to press the trigger to start the shot; the starting shot produces, due to the recoil of the breech, the succession of movements which have just been described, so that after each shot, the pistol is ready to fire. An extractor 12 of known form ejects the empty cartridge cases during recoil.
To dismantle this embodiment, it suffices to rotate the trigger guard 4 of the guard forward by a certain angle.
The projection 4 'is released by this movement of the notch 2' so that the movable breech 3 can be slid with the barrel 2 on the handle 1 forwards and that it can be completely separated from it. . The barrel is then easily separated in its turn from the breech, then the stopper is removed from the latter by pressing on the point 11 'with the fingernail. while pushing lightly against the cylindrical part 9 '. The springs 5, 6. the per-cutter # 7 and the guide sleeve 8 are then released; all parts which require regular maintenance are made accessible in this way.
One realizes, from the foregoing, on the one hand, that the disassembly of this embodiment can easily take place without using tools, on the other hand, that the number of parts is less than in other known automatic repeating pistols.
The pistol may not be an automatic pistol of the so-called Browning "type; it may be an automatic pistol of another type, a semi-automatic pistol.
