Linierungsapparat an Schreibmaschinen. Wenn mit Schreibmaschinen gewöhnlicher, bekannter Art liniert werden soll, ist man darauf angewiesen, z. B. den Gedankenstrich zu benützen. Soll die Linie lang sein, muh man zahlreiche Male auf dieses Zeichen drük- ken, was selbstverständlich eine sehr zeitrau bende Arbeit ist.
Bei vorliegender Erfindung, die einen Linierungsapparat betrifft, welcher an Schreib maschinen verschiedener bekannter Art an gebracht werden kann, wird versucht, diesem Übelstande dadurch abzuhelfen, da.ss am Schreibmaschinengerüst ein Organ angeordnet ist, welches je mit einem Zeichen für Linie rung behaftete Schlagarme der Maschine gegen das auf der Walze befindliche Papier drücken kann, so dass bei einer seitlichen Verschiebung der Walze eine horizontale, bei Drehung der Walze eine vertikale Liciie ge zeichnet wird.
Eine beispielsweise Ausführungsform des Erfindungsgegenstandes ist auf der beiliegen den Zeichnung dargestellt, und zwar gibt: Fig. 1 eine perspektivische Ansicht wieder. Auf dem Schreibmaschinengerüst 1 ist an geeigneter Stelle mittelst einer Schraube 5 ein mit einem Loche versehenes Lager 4 festgeschraubt, in welchem eine von einer Spiralfeder i umgebene Stange 6 in ihrer Längsrichtung verschiebbar angeordnet ist. Durch eine auf der Zeichnung nicht gezeigte Führung bekannter Art ist die Stange 6 ver hindert., sich im Loche des Lagers 4 zu dre hen.
Das der Walze 2 zugekehrte Ende der Stange 6 weist einen rechtwinklig zu ihr stehenden Arm 8 auf, dessen Länge so be messen ist, dass derselbe die Hinterseiten. der zwei Arme, welche, der eine den Gedanken strich, der ändere den Punkt aufweisen, be rührt.
Die Wirkungsweise des Apparates ist folgende: Wenn auf dem Papier eine horizontale Linie zu ziehen ist, wird die mit dem Ge dankenstrich versehene Taste niedergedrückt, so dass sich der dieses Zeichen aufweisende Arm 9 auf die Walze 2 zu bewegt. Dann wird die Stange 6 durch das Loch im Lager 4 gedrückt, bis deren Arm 8 die Hinterseite des Armes 9 berührt und das Zeichen 3 mit ge nügendem Druck an die Walze \_' hält, worauf der Wagen dann ein Stück, entsprechend der Länge der zu ziehenden Linie, nach der Seite geschoben wird. Schliesslich lässt man die Stange 6 los,
so dass diese von der Feder 7 in ihre Ausgangsstellung zurückgeführt wird und der Arm 9 ebenfalls in seine Normal stellung zurückfallen kann.
Beim Ziehen einer vertikalen Linie wird auf die Taste mit dem Punkte gedrückt, so dass dieses Zeichen gegen das Papier geführt und vom Arme 8 auf dieselbe Weise, wie oben beschrieben; gehalten wird. Der Linierungsapparat gemäss der Erfin dung kann mit Rücksicht auf die verschie denartige Einrichtung und Konstruktion der Schreibmaschinen in verschiedener IVeise variiert werden.
