Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein Giessmundreiniger für typographischo Setzmaschinen des Morgonthalor'schen Systems.
Gegenüber den bekannten Giessmundreinigern, bei denen die zur Reinigung des Giessmundes benutzte Wischer unterhalb der rechten Schraubstockbacko angeordnet war, unterscheidet sich der Erfindungsgegenstand dadurch, dass der Wischer hinter der Schraubstockbacke gegenüber einer entsprechenden Aussparung der letzteren angeordnet ist. In diese Aussparung kann sich der Wischer, wenn das Giessrad vorgeschoben wird, einlegen, so dass der früher für den Wischer erforderliche Raum für die Verlängerung der Zeile nutzbar wird.
Infolgedessen kann man mit der neuen Einrichtung längerf Zeilen herstellen als früher, ohne dass eine Vergrösserung der Maschine bezw. des Giessrades stattfinden müsste, wie sie unter Beibehaltung der alten Wischeranordnung unbedingt erforderlich wäre.
Auf der Zeichnung ist der Erfindungsgegenstand in einer beispielsweisen Ausführungsform schematisch veranschaulicht. Fig. 1 ist eine Seitenansicht zum Teil im Schnitt, Fig. 2 eine Vorderansicht der Schraubstockbacke und des Wischers.
Die Schraubstockbacke ist mit a, der Wischer mit b, die Giessform mit c und das Giessrad mit d bezeichnet.
Der Wischer, welcher in bekannter Weise mit einer Auflage aus Filz oder dergl. versehen ist, ist an dem Hebel e befestigt, welcher um den Punkt f drehbar und durch die Zugfeder 9 belastet ist, so dass der Wischer bei zurückgezogenem Giessrade die in
Fig. 1 gezeichnete Lage einnimmt, wobei er einer entsprechenden Aussparung/) der Schraubstockbacke a gegenüberliegt. Die schräge Kante dieser Aussparung ist in Fig. 2 mit i bezeichnet.
Wird das Giessrad vorgeschoben, so wird der Wischer in die Aussparung h zurückgedrängt und nimmt die in Fig. 1 punktiert gezeichnete Lage ein, so dass für den sich mit der Schrauhstockbacke überlappenden Wischer kein besonderer Raum am Giessrade unterhalb der Schraubstockbacke vorgesehen zu werden braucht.
