Description
Stopfbüchse für umlaufende Wellen. Den Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfin dung bildet eine Stopfbüchse für umlaufende Wellen, die auf der Zeichnung in einem Aus führungsbeispiel durch achsialen Schnitt, dar gestellt ist.
a ist die umlaufende Welle, die eine zum Beispiel aus Kompositionsmetall bestehende Büchse c trägt, welche durch eine Mutter b gegen einen Absatz der Welle gedrückt und dadurch auf letzterer festgehalten wird.
Die Büchse c ist von einem Abdichtungs kolben d umgeben, der an jeder Stirnseite einen Dichtungsring e und am Umfange zwei Kolbenringe f trägt und in welchem die Büchse c auf Kugeln<I>g</I> läuft. Ein Ring<I>h,</I> der auf die Büchse c geschraubt ist, hält den Kolben d auf der Büchse, die gegen Drehung durch eine oder mehrere Schrauben i gesichert ist, die im Flansche 1c stecken. Durch letz teren und den Kolben d hindurch ist an den zwischen diesem und der Büchse c befind- liehen Hohlraum ein Schmierkanal l gelegt zwecks Schmierens der Kugeln 1/.
Durelr Zwischenraum zwischen Büchse c lind Kolben d einerseits und dem Flansche I, anderseits ist dafür gesorgt, dar sich Welle, Kolben und Büchse ausdehnen können.
Die dargestellte Stopfbüchse kann bei hohem Drucke zugleich als Entlastungskolben dienen. Die Anzahl der Ringe e und f kann verschieden gewählt werden.

a is the rotating shaft that carries a sleeve c, for example made of composite metal, which is pressed against a shoulder of the shaft by a nut b and is thereby held on the latter.
The sleeve c is surrounded by a sealing piston d, which carries a sealing ring e on each end face and two piston rings f around the circumference and in which the sleeve c runs on balls <I> g </I>. A ring <I> h </I> screwed onto the sleeve c holds the piston d on the sleeve, which is secured against rotation by one or more screws i inserted in the flange 1c. Through the latter and the piston d, a lubrication channel l is placed on the cavity between this and the bushing c for the purpose of lubricating the balls 1 /.
The space between the liner c and piston d on the one hand and the flange I on the other hand ensures that the shaft, piston and liner can expand.
The stuffing box shown can also serve as a relief piston at high pressures. The number of rings e and f can be chosen differently.
