Description

Fuse-holder circuit breaker without cover. The subject of the invention is a fuse-holder plug circuit breaker without cover, characterized in that it forms a titi block. of insulating material allowing to connect, during installation, the wires and the connection bars to the terminals without having to remove and replace a cover.

The accompanying drawing represents, by way of example an embodiment of the object of the invention: FIG. 1 is a plan view without the plug, FIG. 2, a longitudinal section, FIG. 3, a view from below, and FIG. 4, an end view of this embodiment.

The body a of the circuit breaker is made of a single block of insulating material and is traversed in its entire length by a central opening e.

The fuse holder plug b and the fuse housed in the cylindrical opening b ', being removed, it is possible to introduce into this body a through the central opening a' successively the connection bar d 'and the connection bar d , integral with the socket c, without needing to unscrew a cover as is the case in known types of circuit breakers. These two connection bars d and d 'are then fixed from the outside in their place in the longitudinal channel e, by means of the screws g, and to the terminals f as well as the wires.

The opening a 'is snapped at a2 and a3 to allow easy insertion of the Edison socket c into the circuit breaker. This socket c is held on the one hand by the connection bar d to which it is integral, fixed at f and g, and on the other hand by a small tab c ', which engages in the mortise a "'. The circuit breaker further comprises the usual mortises 1 for the calibration jumper and the fixing holes i, also customary.
