Trocken-GGasometer.
Dry gasometer. The present invention is a gasometer of new design and we effect. According to the invention, the gasometer with its foundations, the walls and the upper dome is made and has one piece of reinforced concrete. Inside is a seamless sheet steel lining, which is fastened by welded and cemented wall bolts. The gas space of the gasometer is closed by a sealed against the jacket wall of the same, displaceable and appropriately balanced pressure piston, with a special sealing compound used as a seal.
The advantages resulting from the new design of the gasometer described above consist in the avoidance of deep foundations for the water basin, the impossibility of freezing and thus savings in heating, the avoidance of the oil layer, the great stability and resistance of the gasometer, as well in the low manufacturing cost of the same.
In the drawing, the new gasometer is shown in more detail in one embodiment and some variants. Fig. 1 shows the gasometer in vertical section; FIGS. Z to 5 illustrate individual parts on a larger scale.
The gasometer is made with the foundation a, the jacket walls b and the upper domed dome c in one compact piece of reinforced concrete. The inside of the jacket wall has a seamless iron lining d made of completely welded iron sheets, which are held in place by wall bolts dl welded to the same and cemented in place. The jacket b and the sheet metal lining d thus represent a coherent whole that offers any resistance, as well as weather influences defiance.
The dome c is provided with a number of ventilation pipes cl with a downwardly bent opening to prevent the ingress of dirt and dust if possible. Simultaneously, these pipes serve to discharge any gases that have passed through the pressure piston to the outside. Furthermore, the Kup pel and the jacket wall b are each equipped with a manhole e for entering the gas container.
The fin flow tube g1 is inserted into the gas space g at the bottom. Next to the top, the gas space is closed by a pressure piston f. The latter consists of two circular, sheet metal welded disks / l and f2, which reach close to the shell wall and are connected to each other in a suitable manner by T-irons or the like.
Both plates f1 and f = are finitely equipped with a manhole e. The piston is held evenly by four wire ropes 1a. the rollers attached to the outside of the gas container run and carry weights h by means of which the piston is balanced according to the gas pressure. The even tension of the wire ropes h ensures safe guidance of the piston. and prevents fucking and clamping of the same.
Against the jacket wall, respectively. the sheet metal lining d of the gasometer, the piston f is sealed by means of a special sealing compound m. This mass must be of a soft consistency. it must not harden and must have a certain fat content, so that the mass, in addition to the seal, simultaneously lubricates the inner wall of the gasometer and prevents the lining from rusting. A mixture of zinc white and white lead in connection with olive and pumpkin seed oil has proven itself as such a sealing compound. The latter OI prevents the mass from hardening.
To accommodate the sealing compound m, which rests in a ring on the inner wall of the gas container in one piece, containers are arranged on the circumference of the pressure piston, which can have a different design. According to Fig. 1, bottom right, and Fig. 2 and 3, concentrically curved, segment-shaped boxes F: of suitable length are arranged on the underside of the plate f = of the piston, which are open against the wall of the gasometer and are firmly connected to the Plate f 'stand.
The boxes k are filled with the sealing compound na and closed at the top by a hinged flap k \ which is held down by a pressure screw k =.
On the inside of the boxes k there is a displaceable ram or a plate iz, against whose rod n1 an eccentrically mounted weight lever o presses against the sleeve n = ge guided and in this way presses the sealant firmly against the container, # vandung. The sleeve. n = is firmly connected to the plunger and carries the box k.
The container for the sealing compound in the same or a similar design is attached to the upper plate f1 of the piston, in such a way that the containers in the upper row are offset from one another to those in the lower row.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 1, bottom left, a spring p is used instead of the weight lever o, which is arranged in a bushing p1 connected to the guide sleeve n '.
Fig. 1, upper side, and Fig. 4 and illustrate an embodiment in which the container for the mass m are formed by slidably arranged on the edge of the disc f1, segment-shaped angle plates q, which are under pressure from springs r.
whose abutment plates i @ 'are attached to an angled iron ring s that runs all the way around and is welded to disk f1, which also carries the rotatable closure flaps 1_1. So that the inner jacket wall of the gas container is always protected from adhering precipitation products. is kept pure, scraper blades t are arranged under the containers for the sealing compound (Fig. 4).
These knives are curved according to the wall of the jacket and are constantly pressed against the wall of the jacket by the weight lever v, so that they scrape the same when the pressure piston is lowered.
